You'll have a short walk to the sugar-white sand each morning, spacious porches to come home to, and community access to an outdoor swimming pool, a large lanai, and grilling areas for summertime barbecues.

This home is centrally located south of 30A, with the beach immediately south (offering lifeguards and plentiful parking) and the many shops, restaurants, and outdoor events of Gulf Place Town Center half a mile west. Take your pick of Goatfeathers, La Playa, Perfect Pig, Sunrise Coffee Shop, and other local favorites within walking distance, or hop on one of the four complimentary bikes to explore 18 miles of paths that lead to various beaches, attractions, and serene coastal dune lakes along 30A.

We absolutely love the property. The bikes were definitely a nice touch and we use them more than expected. The property was definitely easy walking distance to the beach. We will be booking this property again. Also Goat Feathers was absolutely phenomenal and on the same street. WIN!!!! LOVE THIS SPOT! GREAT COMMUNICATION WITH THE HOST ALSO!!! A

Great stay in Santa Rosa

Really enjoyed this property on a quick getaway with our family. Fantastic location just steps away from the beach and 30A shops and restaurants. Lots of space for a family of 4 to spread out. Would stay here again!

Great, quiet location. Only drawback is not a ton of open living space inside if there are actually 12 people staying (sleeps up to 12).

Lovely house, short bike ride/walk to the beach. Beach is gorgeous and has a lifeguard and restrooms. The area is quiet but close to lots of shops and restaurants and a half hour drive to tons of activities in Destin. House was a great place to relax after fun filled days!

Family vacation

This was a great trip! The location of the beach house allowed us access to Destin activities. We also we able to enjoy the quiet country atmosphere of the beach house. There is a pond of lily pads which had frogs singing through the night reminded us of camping.

Excellent property! Great location for a quieter stay. The property management company was great. The even came out on a weekend to deliver a new blender. Very nice!

My family had a wonderful spring break at happy house. It is decorated very well and we loved Santa Rosa. The pool was just a few steps away and the beach was just a couple of blocks away. We rode our bikes to get ice cream and to the beach.

Very nice neighborhood with community pool. Location to the beach was perfect. Close to restaurants. Unit may be a tad run down but was still exactly what we needed. Highly recommend Vacasa’s. Reservation process was easy and they were in constant communication with me from beginning to end.

Short walk or bike ride to the beach (they provide bikes). Water views from 2nd and 3rd floor. 2 good restaurants walking distance (and an ice cream stand!). Condo is immaculate, very clean, very new.

We really enjoyed the house. I wish I knew it was right next to a small wildlife refuge. The frogs were croaking quite loudly each night - made it tough to get to sleep. I would have brought some earplugs!

Amazing stay! Didn’t want to leave

This neighborhood has the greatest LOCATION . The village is quiet and adorable. Easy beach access and amazing view. The pond behind with fountain is so soothing. Frogs came out our last week and were noisy but lull you to sleep. The house has a lot of room, clean and cozy. Beautiful decks that get great sunshine all day. Will definitely stay again. Very happy with our decision and location.

Great location! Beautiful property

Loved it! Clean with all the comforts of home. Beautiful beach so close by! The bikes were a big hit! Best Ice cream place ever on the corner and loved Goatfeathers restaurant. Only concern was that the bunk bed structure was rather wobbly… had to move our 10 year old grandson onto the pull out couch as it did not seem safe on the top bunk.

Deferred Maintenance Needs to be Addressed

The location of the property was excellent. The proximity to the beach couldn't be beat. The housekeeping crew did their best. The sofa and loveseat in the family room are filthy, so filthy, I used my own blanket to cover the sofa so I would feel comfortable sitting on it. The family room sofa and loveseat need to be replaced, as does the interior mat at the front door entrance. There was a large "bubble" of paint in one of the bathrooms that was holding dirty brown water from behind the walls. In general, the house needs a DEEP clean, new furniture in the family room, and deferred maintenance completed.

Happy House was great!

We’ve stayed in this neighborhood the last few summers, but this was our first time at Happy House. It’s very convenient to the beach and it was great to have the 4 rental bikes. The layout was good and had plenty of space for our family of 5. Downside (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars)....the master bedroom bed is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Please upgrade that bed. For the price, the master bed should have been a comfortable place to sleep and it wasn’t.

Enjoyed except the house was not cleaned well! Floors were sandy when we got there and live and dead bugs were found through the stay.! Dryer did not work very well! Decks were not very clean even though we realized that’s an outside area! For the money we paid we just felt like it was not up to par.! We have rented there for the last two years but will not rent this house again.!

Poor communication

We booked this condo for our family. It was seven adults and two children. We booked this one because of certain amenities, like the washer and dryer. Wednesday morning, July 2 we washed a load of clothes and when we went to transfer them from the washer to the dryer, the dryer would not work. It kept sending the message that the linen filter needed cleaning. We cleaned it and it still did not function. We had to hang our clothes up to try to dry them as best we could. I called this in Wednesday around noon. I was told we would receive a phone call from the service man, and that didn’t happen that day. I called back the next day and they told us they would follow up on Thursday, and that did not happen either. We booked a place that was suppose to have a functioning washer AND dryer, not just a washer. When we left on Saturday morning, July 5, I had still not heard from one sigle person. I had to call again to follow up with them.

House👍. VACASA 👎

The house is good. Loved the porches and the neighborhood. Kitchen is well stocked. The second floor mattress needs to be replaced ASAP. Beach towels and some extra blankets would be a good addition. VACASA was horrbile w/ communication. Leading up to our trip i contacted them 2x. Both times took them 3 weeks to respond! We had a shower faucet break our first full day. They did not communicate the status of the repair. We had to continually call them. Their calls seem to be out sourced out of the US. Very hard to understand the reps. The shower wasnt repaired until day 5 of 7, in the evening. So we instead dealt w a 3BR, 2.5 Bath for most of the stay. We paid for a 3BR, 3 Bath. Will avoid dealing w/ VACASA in the future. Id think we should have some refund due to us.
