The VRBO office where we had to pick up the keys was difficult to find. There aren't any signs on the building, and not much lighting to help find it at night.

Incredible stay

We can’t say enough about how magnificent our stay at Sandy Key was. The condo was clean, well furnished with anything we needed, had great beds, close to the ocean, beautiful beach view… so much to say. There was so much to do within a short driving distance. The area was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect

The condo and location were perfect. They had the basics including a Keurig which I wish I had realized before packing coffee. Literally right on the beach. There are no condiments or salt pepper etc which the basics would be nice.

The place and scenery was beautiful. However, there was construction with jack hammers going on all the time. Huge patches of concrete on each floor. We were never told about this in advance. The lady who called us back on Sunday was very rude and claimed we were the only ones who were complaining in a very indignant tone. That was a lie because several people we met there complained as well. They said they had notified everyone but we were not notified. This is unacceptable.

Property management poor

Property looks good at 1st glance but missing things needed for a stay. Also property management company needs to go. On checking out they threw envelope away that had key because they didnt look closely then called & told me I didnt return. I had to go back to office & search through trash to find. Never even said sorry. Will never use Vacasa again. Shower door track bumper is missing. Needs new mattress on sofa bed. Kitchen needs… New can opener, a 9x13 pyrex, more spoons, needs water filter in frig replaced. Night stand glass was cracked and should have been replaced before our stay. No WiFi password, no service for stay. No parking passes. No armbands.

Love Perdido Key

This 2 bedroom condo overlooks a private beach. April was great time to come, with moderate weather, even the sand didn't blister your feet! Check in was awkward. Don't try to "pick up your packet" before 4. 😁. The place was very clean. I could have used a blanket at night. Kitchen was quite clean, and adequately stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Bathrooms were clean. The master bath toilet needs to a new gasket, the toilet rattles around. Also, the shower door in that bathroom is not hung right and prone to fall. It's glass. But I particularly loved the beach. At night it is dark, as it should be. We've stayed further west many times and the night beach is lit up, like light pollution is no problem. It looks like Sandy Key participates in dune restoration, too. 2 pools, a hot tub, a couple of porch swings for intimate gatherings. It's quiet, blessedly quiet.

Great location. Steps from pristine beach. Enjoyed morning coffee on the patio while dolphin swam by. Great spring break getaway for my family.

Late Summer Vacation

We had a great time staying at Sandy Key. Perfect location- easy beach access, maintains a local vibe watching surfers in the afternoon, and fun to go to the nearby fish market! Thanks for a great stay!

Not enough room to type/list my complaints if you care you’ll reach out to me...

This unit 532-3 rented thru Vacasa, they over all sucked! Very cold last minute communications on how to check in on MY VACATION! Dirty towels in the washer when we arrived,WiFi did not work at all,both toilets need repairing,TV did not work unless you like to STREAM THE LOVE BOAT! Ice maker didn’t work, one of the elevators in tower three worked about 25% of our stay,one pool was not open due to on going slow repairs! I’m not bashing Vacasa just telling the truth. We have been to Sandy Key Resort for 12 years in a row so it’s where we love to go in PKB, so I would suggest going in and checking the condo for yourself to make sure things are in working order! I get one vacation a year and I wanted it to do great and it was not! Next year I will stay somewhere else!

Fantastic location, beautiful condo

Everything you need and furnished so lovely! The location was gated and secure. Check in/out was super easy. Reported that the pools would be closed due to Hurricane Sally repairs and one was already up and running! It was just win after win! The main bedroom bed slept great and the kitchen was fully stocked. I would absolutely rent this specific unit again if possible, but the rental company was also great and would consider other properties they may have.
