Annual Sister Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay in Lime House! Upon arrival we did notice a nasty stain on the sheets in the master bedroom. However, Homeowners Collection was very prompt to send Jessica and Lucy over to change them. Those girls were awesome! Other than that, the cottage was perfect! Very nice set up and accommodations for a wonderful sister trip! And the location was great. Would definitely recommend Lime House for a party of 4 to 5 guests.

A Cozy Cottage Stay Near the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of four really enjoyed staying at Lime House. We have two young children and this house was great for our needs with the cozy twin beds and the loft upstairs that our three-year-old insisted on having. The house has been well decorated, has a charming updated kitchen, and is outfitted to meet basic needs. We enjoyed the layout of the home and spent many rainy mornings enjoying breakfast in the lovely breakfast nook and lounging on the porch swing. This house just feels like a cozy beach hug that you don’t want to leave. We’ve stayed in Seaside numerous times over the years but this is the closest we’ve ever been to the beach which was very convenient for naptime. It was an easy 3 min bike ride to the beach pavillion!

Disaster at limehouse seaside homeowners collection rentals

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived and we’re not informed at all about issues with house from staff at homeowners. My daughter arrived at 3 at the address separate from my wife and I as she was traveling separately . we had been told “ not ready” when asking to check in early if possible) My daughter quite upset stated there were workmen in house installing window units - air conditioner not working ! So we were unable to use the house as expected due to broken central air and workmen in our space . Told be fixed no later than Monday - this turned into Wednesday afternoon ie 5 days of noise window units - not the ambiance we expected or deserved for what we paid, No air conditioning in bathrooms , cardboard and tape to seal around window units came loose hot air blowing in house ruining sleep. Additionally the dishwasher also broken - more repairmen monday and again on Wednesday - we asked to move the day we arrived with being told no other units . Asked to be compensated - and while we did get comped 450$ tThis was based on expecting issues to be resolved in 1 or 2 days at most. If I had guests and this occurred to the degree noted above would make an additional monetary compensation to be fair to us for this most unpleasant vacation experience re our accommodations - my wife notice ants in kitchen around sink and a roach traversed the cupboard where our food was stored that I had to kill! please do the right thing as we have not been compensated for our loss . Your staff tried there best under circumstances , However we have not been made “ whole” - You can reach my wife to resolve this unpleasant stay

Perfect Getaway

Perfect little house and close walk to seaside. Only thing is each room has window units. But not complaining they all worked great and was not loud. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location. Walking distance to the beach. Cute decor. I would say pay attention to square footage. The house was a little tight for the 5 of us. Love that is had 3 full bathrooms, that is a plus. Decor is very cute. If you like to cook like us, the kitchen cookware could use some updating, but love the stove!! The outdoor porch with the swing was my favorite. Great place to have an evening cocktail.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was less than thrilled with the quality of lime house. The twin beds on the first floor were terrible/flimsy mattresses. The house was not properly cleaned and get this....THERE WAS NO CENTRAL AC. Window units were popped into every room window with blue painters tape to secure them. Terrible! We had asked for late check out weeks prior to coming and were told no. When I pushed HOCO on it, they gave me 11 instead of noon like they original said wouldn't be a problem. The common area sofa at Lime House was soiled and worn. The toaster oven border line could start a fire.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in Lime House 29 years ago and I thought it would be fun to bring two of my adult children back for vacation. My son was 2 months old back then and is 29 now, so it was a meaningful visit. Lime House has been remodeled very nicely, all amenities in place. Nice kitchen and very nice baths My only displeasure was the window air conditioning systems placed in all bedrooms and the kitchen.Installed with loose white tape and one with cardboard covering the open window. It was really below the standard I expected. It created a damp feeling. Would not have chosen this house if I had known about this odd set-up.Clean, except heavy dust in the king bedroom, which I think was overlooked by the cleaners. Some personal items had been left by the previous guest there too.

Cozy Cottage - Perfect for a family of 4

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cottage was the perfect size for my husband, daughter and me. It was a close walk to the beach and all the action of the town center. So close we never had to get in our car. The management team at Homeowner's Collection were outstanding. Two days after arriving, construction began on the neighboring cottage (not in the Collection, so they knew nothing about it). Hammering, drilling and sawing commenced at 7:30 AM until 6:00 PM. We were awakened early every morning and could not even enjoy the porch due to the noise. When this was brought to the attention of management, they really went out of their way to make it up to us. They could not stop the noise, but their concern and offer of compensation was greatly appreciated. Although our stay was noisy, we napped on the beach and made the best of if.

Our time on the back porch swing, the quiet and peaceful setting mixed with some soothing ocean sounds was extremely rejuvenating. By far, one of our best trips to 30a.The house was very clean, functional, and located just far enough away from the busier areas, but also close enough for evening walks to town, walks on the beach, and the occasional bike ride to other nearby communities. We felt extremely comfortable. Only wish we could have stayed forever, but hope to be back soon.
