Rooms were clean and orderly, host was very accommodating and threw in a few nice perks. An enjoyable stay. Eateries were a bit out the way.

Great house, everything worked that needed to work. Was traveling for a Marine graduation at Parris Island and this place was great. Owner was responsive to questions.

We were in town for Marine bootcamp graduation and made this reservation about 2 months in advance. Overall, the stay was nice and we appreciated the rental. There were some very nice things that were very happy with, and a few things that were not so nice. To help others I will make a pros and cons list.Pros- Great location near food, the base, and shopping- the inside of the house is very very well done! great trim work and paint, and everything looked clean. Loved the huge TV in the living room.- Bedrooms were all spacious and well supplied with sheets and towels and lights. Big closets and nice bathrooms- REALLY nice work. Plenty of seating in living room and dining area- appreciated the washing machine and dryer, too.Cons- ok, so we woke up the first morning and the kitchen sink area was overrun with ants, they even found their way into the coffee pot. This soured my wife on cooking there. The kitchen supplies were pretty sparse as well- very little silverware, plates or pans for cooking anything. I suspect it's because it's kind of the end of the season. Finally, while inside the house is luxurious, when we first pulled up I had a "what have I rented" moment as the grass around it is grown up, and the neighborhood feels sketchy.Overall, it was a nice stay and with the exception of not being able to cook there, it was everything we needed it to be.

Peter, Thanks for your great review. Yes the home is very well put together. I wish you had notified us during your stay about utensils and ant issue. All the homes have been restocked and the ants are most likely due to the excessive amount of rain we have had in the last month before your stay. Maybe your wife was looking for an excuse not to have to cook:) JK. We have not had any further issues. Thanks for staying and congratulations on your new Marine!!
