Very quiet & comfortable. Accommodations were very clean, very well outfitted with well equipped kitchen. Only issue was intermittent WiFi ... but did not detract from my stay. Would recommend

It works

First impression wasn't the best it felt tight and everything seemed older. It did work for what we needed because we were not there much but to sleep. There is goats which come up to the door but was not a bother to us. Over all for the price and location it works.

We go to the Sun n Fun air show every year and usually stay in a hotel. This property was 5 minutes from the airport so we decided to try it. Everything was perfect. This is an apartment in a detached garage. The neighborhood seemed nice and quiet. The apartment was super clean and stocked. The Keurig coffee maker had a selection of coffee and tea. The washing machine and dryer had soap and dryer sheets. The host go out of there way to make the apartment an easy place to relax after a long day of traveling. This is definitely the place to stay in Lakeland.

They went above and beyond!

They not only allowed us to have a large family gathering with toddlers; Wendy was kind enough to set up tables and chairs including tablecloth and placemats, and, even toddler-sized versions!Entertaining a large party was no problem. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to even serve a traditional turkey dinner on serving platters!

Perfect Place

This was the perfect place for our stay. It was exactly what we needed. We were in town for an overnight race, and it was the perfect distance from the venue. It is the perfect size for two people. It has everything that you need for a getaway. If we are ever back in the area, we will defiantly stay again.

Great place

This is a great place for couples to stay. It is small but plenty of space for two and it is set up very well. We will definitely try to stay here again when we are in the area.

It was a great stay, we enjoyed the property and the neighborhood we enjoyed sitting outside under the canopy and the grandkids enjoyed seeing the goats and the swing in the front yard it’s a wonderful little apartment for me and my wife and big enough to have the kids and grandkids stop by and visit the owners are super nice and responded to any of our questions it was another wonderful stay at this property we have stayed here multiple times one of our favorites oh and the grandkids enjoyed a book from the book house out by the road we recommend this property to any couple that needs a quiet place to stay

Simple, easy and relaxing.

Stayed here with my S.O. and my pup to visit a friend in Lakeland as well as enjoy some sunshine, beach days and relax. We drove all the way from P.A. so it was much appreciated the easy way to get into the place. Very pet friendly had a big front yard to play in, bowls waiting and a big shower to wash her up in. A nice front porch area to sit and relax in the shade and about an hour to Tampa for the beach days. Very friendly host/family, we are social people so we chatted a few different days but if you aren't that's good too, they can be very private as well. I would definitely come back to visit again.

Kelly is an great host. We stayed there for hurricane evacuation. The price point is excellent for the place. He was very responsive to any questions we may have had. All around good stay. And the area is well established with grocery, shopping and food galore

Lakeland, Florida Stay - June 2023

I was especially pleased that this property is located in a very safe neighborhood. It is not located in downtown Lakeland, but it is in a very nice suburan neighborhood. Never once was I concerned about my safety. The apartment was clean and well maintained. The host and his family were very nice.

Cozy gem hidden in the outskirts of Lakeland. Within 10 minutes of downtown area. Comfortable, clean, and home away from home. Quiet, safe, and serene neighborhood. I will definitely stay there whenever I’m in town.

Lakeland offers a quiet town feel while being close to Tampa and Orlando which offer multiple activities. We are 30 minutes from Legoland, and Busch Gardens. 45 minutes from Walt Disney World, Universal, and Sea World. We are located about 20 minutes from Joker Merchant Stadium, Dinosaur World. 5 minutes from Sun 'n' Fun Fly-In. Close to many beautiful freshwater fishing lakes and Florida Southern College which has the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright structures in one place.
