We had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable, and the huge porch area was one of our favorite parts. The location is excellent and made it easy to get to Hendersonville, Asheville, and Brevard. The host was also very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely stay here again!

We had a great time here! The home was in close proximity to several breweries and to Jeter Mountain. We had a wonderful weekend! Home was perfect for hanging out with our group

Great stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is so cozy and nice. Hot tub was a plus! Comfortable for a family of 4 with kids. We hope to return!

This is a beautiful and cozy home that is great for families and entertaining. It makes a great place to hang out, a comfortable, inviting basecamp for exploring. We are looking forward to staying here again and spending more time in the area, enjoying God’s beautiful creations.

The host is top-notch and their place was a welcome, peaceful wknd haven. The house is spacious and every room is well furnished. Upstairs or downstairs there's an atmosphere of cozy cordial congeniality perfect for entertaining a small family or a larger grouo of friends. I will definitely want to return visit.

Very Disappointed ,Property Did Not Match the Listing. Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing, and the condition of the property did not match the way it was represented in the listing.When we arrived, we immediately noticed that the house was not properly cleaned or maintained. There was a noticeable mildew/musty smell inside the property, which was present throughout our stay and made the house uncomfortable. The overall cleanliness was well below what we would reasonably expect from an Vrbor ental.The refrigerator was also not working. This was a significant problem because we were expecting to be able to store food and drinks during our stay. Having a non-functioning refrigerator caused a major inconvenience and was something that should have been addressed before the property was rented to guests.There was also a water leak under the sink. This added to our concerns about the overall condition and maintenance of the property. Taken together, these were not minor inconveniences. The cleanliness issues, mildew smell, broken refrigerator, and plumbing leak substantially affected our stay. The property gave us the impression that it had not been properly inspected or prepared for guests before our arrival as the soap container was filled with water. Most importantly we feel the property was misrepresented in the listing. The condition we found upon arrival was significantly different from what we reasonably expected based on the description and photographs.

5 stars across the board!!!The property was fantastic. The listing was spot on and accurate and everything was super clean and ready for us when we arrived. Very open and user friendly and everything worked as it should have. The property itself is very nicely laid out with easy access to its amenities (see notes at the end) and contains most of the extras you would need for your stay. The photos of the spaces and rooms are accurate but they do not do justice to the huge deck on the main level or the patio below… they are huge spaces!All in all, we HIGHLY recommend this property if you are looking to stay in the Asheville/Mills River NC area!!!NOTES: The listing does currently state that the access road is gravel and during the winter 4 wheel drive is required. This is correct. The road has a steep incline and a pretty tight sharp turn on it. We were on a motorcycle riding vacation and are very seasoned riders and this hill and turn is very intimidating for bikes. Additionally the property itself has a pretty good slope to the back side of the home where the fire pit is. Overall we gave 5 stars for each category of this listing as it truly is a 5 star place. And, the owners were absolutely incredible… attentive and fast to respond to any questions we had!If you are looking for somewhere to stay in that area then this is an EXCELLENT choice!!!

The porch was wonderful. The house had everything we needed and we were close to hiking trails and tubing. Comfortably sleeping 10. 6 adults 4 children. The hot tub was a nice touch. The host was very responsive. The weather was gorgeous.
