The house has an Alaska theme.10mins from the airport. Surround yourself in Alaskan memorabilia. Set in a quiet neighborhood, lots of trees. Restaurants, supermarket, gas station, bank and bowling alley within 20-minute walk. We are frequented by moose due to Kincaid Park, a sprawling 1400 acres which is home to moose, bears, bald eagles and other smaller animals. A trail system of 35 miles for hiking and biking. There is also frisbee golf and access to the 11-mile coastal trail. Spectacular views of the Alaska range across the Cook inlet (some mountains are volcanoes). There are several lakes in short walking distance.
The house is BRAND NEW. Themed as a remote lodge, The 18ft tall living room walls are covered in everything Alaskan. We have 3 bedrooms (9ft ceilings), one is upstairs. The bathrooms have Granite throughout with rain shower heads. The master bath is ADA compliant with grab bars throughout.NO SHOES REQUIRED. The floors are heated for your comfort. There is a deck on the second floor at the front of the house, good for a wakeup coffee while looking for wildlife.
There is an early check in/late checkout lounge with 2 sofas, books and games. There is a small kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee pot, small fridge and toilet (message for info). There is a supermarket enroute from the airport to grab some goodies on the way. We are happy to provide a ramp for the handicapped, and guests suffering from inebriation. We have ample parking in the front of the house. The back deck has dining and a grill with a rotisserie. Next to the deck is a 7-person hot tub and a firepit. On the roof is the borealis deck, 1200 sq ft with a 360-degree view a must for seeing the Northern lights or just relaxing by the firepit.
No animals were taken by the owner. They were purchased at an Estate auction.
