Really disappointed with this overall experience. Let me preface by saying I’ve stayed in OC every summer for nearly two decades. I’ve stayed at some pretty outdated places, but this was the worst of all my stays. First, I’ve never in all my years of staying in OC had to go pick up a key from a central office which is nowhere near the property. Second, when I arrived, our key wouldn’t work for the stairwell up to the unit. When I called the management company to tell them, I was routed to a call center and didn’t receive a call back until the next day. Luckily, someone let us into the stairs. But for all they knew, I was locked out.Next, the primary bedroom smelled like cigarette smoke (I originally thought it was mildew, but realized it was smoke). I was unable to even sleep in that room because the smell was so bad. The shower in that bathroom sprays all over the place. In general, the unit is very outdated and poorly maintained. The carpet is dingy. The cleaning company left a full load of linens in the washing machine, no idea if they were clean or dirty. I would not stay here again nor would I rent through this management company ever again.
