Enjoy shared lake access to Big Platte Lake, with boat mooring for Big Platte available and plenty of parking for other toys. Swim off the dock by day and toast s'mores over a campfire at night. Kayaks are available for guests to use on nearby Little Platte from Sleeping Bear Hideaway Resort, and boat/motor rentals are available from the resort by the week. You are also welcome to use the resort's playground and tetherball. The home features one queen bed plus two full beds, perfect for families or friends traveling together. With two bathrooms guests can unwind after a day of exploring. The townhome stays comfortable with heating and air conditioning. Basic cable TV and Internet are available for entertainment when you're not enjoying the lake and outdoors. Washer and dryer are available and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an outdoor charcoal grill available as well. You'll have parking for two cars in front but lots of extra parking in back. You'll be staying in one of the most beautiful corners of Michigan with lots to do and see! The Platte River is just minutes away for fishing, tubing, and kayaking, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is only 4 miles away. A few minutes drive from the scenic and iconic M22. Crystal Lake in Beulah is perfect for swimming, boating, and fishing. The Betsie Valley Trail - 22 miles of paved trail - is great for biking and walking. The historic Point Betsie Lighthouse is only 15 miles away and open for tours May to October. The classic, 1950s style Cherry Bowl Drive In Theater is about two miles away and offers nightly double features and on-site concessions. Local shopping is available in Honor just a couple miles away at the Honor Family Market or at Save a Lot and Family Fare in Benzonia. Dining opportunities abound, with Sweet's Bar & Grill and the Platte River Inn offering great bar food and classic Northern Michigan diner food in the Honor village. A short drive to Frankfort and Elberta gets you to Stormcloud Brewing Co, a craft brewery, casual waterfront dining at Dinghy's Restaurant, and great breakfast/lunch options at L'Chayim Delicatessen.
