This was a charming place to stay in Petoskey. The private one-bedroom space off the barn was comfortable, with a separate bathroom, a nice deck, a fire pit, and a great little bar area. The host was very responsive, and the property had beautiful views. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

This was perfect for my trip. Beautiful property for a quiet stay. Minutes from downtown Petoskey. The room was very clean and communication was easy.

Perfect for my needs, very clean and close to downtown Petoskey. Karen is very nice and accomodating!

The listing was misleading for us. It is very well appointed, very clean, in an attractive location but is essentially a bedroom in a campground. The bathroom has a separate outdoor entrance shared with the campground. As far as we could tell, the kitchenette has a small refrigerator and microwave but no stove or sink. The host did not meet us to show us otherwise and communication was not easy or positive. If you're looking for a glamping experience then I would say it's quite nice but that's not what we were looking for.

Room off barn is 1/4 mile from campground, and showerhouse is 3 minute walk from room with 24 hour lighting. Host is available 24/7 and her number is posted throughout property

Room and pictures shown were great. Room was comfortable, clean and charming. What was not made clear was the restroom was not attached to our room and is communal and was shared with MANY people who are camping. It was difficult to use on Saturday night as there were at least 15 other people trying to shower and use the bathroom. Expect wait times. There is only one shower, toilet and sink. We finally waited outside the bathroom to get in to use it and it was after 10:00pm and there 4 others waiting after us. The bathroom was steamy and bathmat was soaked due to the high volume of people using it. The campers were nice and all were trying to be accommodating but there were so many trying to use just one bathroom. The bathroom is not clearly marked and we had to search it out and had to point it out to a number of campers.

July and August are peak season, expect that anywhere you go in petoskey, it’s a place everyone wants to be. I’m sorry you chose the bathroom to take away from an exceptional grounds and great hosts

Positive: The place was really well done, clean, cute. Very nice. It was a surprise to me that the bathroom was shared and about 30' from the bedroom, an outdoor walk. I get up several times during the night. No wifi and no tv. Still, a great place but would not have stayed there if I had known.

If you need a good night's sleep away from the expensive lodging in Petoskey, this is a great choice. Really nice setting. It is mainly just a comfy bedroom, but the view on a nice deck for morning coffee is superb, and a nearby snack & coffee shack just steps from the door makes for some nice hanging out time. We stayed one night on our way up north to a weekend music festival, and we stopped again on our way home to take a one-hour kayak trip across the street, a livery owned by the VRBO hosts. A host, by the way, who was super helpful and kind.
