Beautiful, Spacious 3BR Ukrainian Village Home Room for Groups and Deck
Welcome to a spacious, beautifully furnished home in the heart of Ukrainian Village, designed for families, groups, wedding guests, extended stays, and anyone who wants significantly more room than a typical Chicago rental.
The home offers three levels of comfortable living space, with high ceilings, hardwood floors throughout the main and upper levels, multiple gathering areas, and thoughtful furnishings from Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Restoration Hardware, and similar brands.
The open main floor includes two separate living areas, giving larger groups room to relax without everyone crowding into one space. One area features a large, comfortable U-shaped sectional, while the second sitting area provides another place to read, talk, watch television, or spend time separately. The dining area seats approximately six, with additional seating for about five at the kitchen island.
The oversized kitchen is fully equipped for everyday meals, longer stays, and group entertaining. It includes a gas range, full-size refrigerator, microwave, wine refrigerator, two sinks, two dishwashers, ample counter space, cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, basic spices, and starter household supplies. A separate butler pantry provides additional storage and preparation space. Guests will also find a standard drip coffee maker, a Nespresso machine, and one pound of regular coffee. Guests should bring their preferred Nespresso capsules.
Upstairs are three private bedrooms. The spacious primary bedroom includes a king bed, vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, hardwood floors, and a large walk-in closet. The two additional bedrooms each include a queen bed, natural light, hardwood floors, and comfortable furnishings. Two of the bedrooms offer large almost walk-in closets, providing plenty of storage for longer visits.
The upper level also includes two full bathrooms positioned near the bedrooms. One features a glass-enclosed walk-in shower and a large vanity with generous counter and cabinet space. The second includes a double-sink vanity and a whirlpool tub with shower. A spacious powder room on the main floor includes a toilet, sink, full vanity cabinet, and large mirror.
The finished lower level provides an additional media, recreation, and relaxation area. It is clean, comfortable, carpeted, well lit, and served by the home’s heating and air-conditioning system. The basement includes a sofa, strong Wi-Fi, plenty of room for games or lounging, and flexible additional sleeping space. One queen air mattress is available by advance request. The adjoining unfinished portion contains a large laundry and storage area with a newer premium washer and dryer, shelving, luggage space, detergent, and dryer sheets.
The home has separate HVAC systems serving the upper and lower portions of the house, helping maintain comfortable temperatures throughout all three levels. High-speed whole-home Wi-Fi reaches every room, including the basement. Two Smart TVs and two Apple TVs allow guests to use their own streaming accounts.
One of the home’s standout features is the large private deck above the garage. The deck includes a pergola, privacy screening, decorative lighting, outdoor furniture, a gas grill, and seating for approximately 8 to 12 people. It is an ideal space for morning coffee, outdoor meals, or relaxing in the evening. Outdoor quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
Free, unrestricted street parking is generally available on the block, and no city permit is required. The detached garage is not included with the rental.
Explore Ukrainian Village and West Town
The house is surrounded by some of West Town’s best dining, shopping, and neighborhood attractions. Guests can walk to Publican Quality Bread on Grand Avenue for artisan breads, pastries, coffee, and breakfast, as well as Breakfast House West Town for a more traditional breakfast or brunch.
Chicago Avenue offers even more nearby choices, including Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen, known for Ukrainian dishes and weekend brunch, and A Tavola, a longstanding Northern Italian restaurant with a seasonal garden patio.
Grand Avenue is also home to the Grand Design District, a walkable stretch between Ashland and Western featuring curated furniture, vintage pieces, antiques, fine art, lighting, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind objects. Nearby shops include NEYBIR, a gallery and retail space specializing in art, distinctive objects, and artisan-made home goods.
For groceries and everyday supplies, the Ukrainian Village Mariano’s is within walking distance and includes a full grocery store, pharmacy, deli, bakery, prepared foods, wine and spirits, and a Starbucks.
The United Center, Fulton Market, Wicker Park, Bucktown, and downtown Chicago are all nearby, making the home equally convenient for concerts and sporting events, restaurant weekends, shopping trips, weddings, business travel, and extended stays.

This is an entire-home rental with no owner present during the stay. It is well suited for families, multigenerational groups, wedding attendees, corporate stays, medical visits, production teams, and extended furnished stays. Events, commercial photography, and filming require advance written approval.
I’ve called Chicago home for many years and love Ukrainian Village for its quiet residential streets, great restaurants, vintage and antique shops, and easy access to downtown. This is my personal home, and I’ve furnished and maintained it as a place where people can relax and feel comfortable, not like a typical rental. I’m always glad to share local recommendations or help with questions before and during your stay. Guests have the entire home and complete privacy, but I’m nearby and responsive if anything comes up.
この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由
I bought this home because the neighborhood felt unusually peaceful and welcoming for a location so close to downtown. The house sits on a quiet, tree-lined residential street, with a highly regarded elementary school just one block away. The area is filled with families, longtime residents, and genuinely friendly neighbors, giving it a strong sense of community that can be hard to find in a large city. It feels calm, safe, and residential, while still being close to restaurants, shops, parks, transit, and everything Chicago has to offer.

What makes this home unique is the amount of space and privacy it offers in such a walkable Chicago neighborhood. It is a true three-level single-family home—not a condo—with three bedrooms, two separate living areas, a large kitchen, a finished lower-level recreation room, a private furnished deck, and a two-car garage.
The house feels comfortable rather than formal, with high ceilings, hardwood floors, large rooms, two walk-in closets, and enough space for families or groups to spend time together without feeling crowded. The oversized kitchen, butler pantry, two dishwashers, laundry area, strong Wi-Fi, and separate heating and air-conditioning systems also make it especially practical for longer stays.
The private deck is one of the best features of the property. It sits above the garage and offers a quiet outdoor space with furniture, privacy screening, a pergola, lighting, and a gas grill. At the same time, the home is on a peaceful, tree-lined Ukrainian Village street within walking distance of restaurants, various bakeries including the Publican Quality Bread, antique and vintage shops, groceries, parks, and public transportation.
