Weekend trip to Florence

I enjoyed a two night stay at this unique property within walking distance to Heceta Beach in late December. The property amenities are minimal but it was quite cozy and clean.

This was a cheap and cute cabin to stay in. The vibe of the cabin is pleasing and it had some cute features to make it seem more comfortable. I appreciate that they were able to squeeze in all amenities you would need in such a small cabin.

Home away from home!

We loved our stay! It was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed! There were some cobwebs and some spiders, but that was to be expected and added to the whole vibe. We appreciated having some movies to watch while we were there!

Misleading

So I stay aweekin this little cabin which was posted with misleading information. I stayed with a moldy bathroom, an ant infestation, and garbage on the floor around the bed. Do not stay here.

Worth the price

Cute and Cozy. Had everything I needed and more. The curtains could fit the windows a bit better and be cleaned. The gate on the side of the house you have to park on should be the one that is used rather than on the other side with those rock steps. Overall, I really enjoyed it, towels were clean and fluffy, heater provided if needed, extra blankets, instant hot water in the shower. I would totally stay there again.

Beat down cottage

Cute when you walk in, but 3 burned out bulbs, a poorly functional kitchen were disappointing. The bathroom was so small, a lot of people would not fit in the shower. Best attribute is the proximity to the beach.

Beach shack

Near the beach, short walk was no problem. Definitely a beach shack, perfect for us! Well laid out, very easy to get comfortable, Altho the floor is concrete so took a while to warm up the place. Also the sheets were crusty :/ and we had to change them, but they had extras east to find. They seemed laundered, but not clean. We would stay again, but we like quirky little shacks :) The most uncomfortable part was communication with Vacasa. A little expensive for what you get, with all the fees.

I booked this little beach cabin for 2 days, we got to the cabin and it was nice and clean, small, but also had enough room for 2, it was enjoyable to be by the ocean as well as have a bed, on the down side, the TV was a bit out of date and glitched out while connected to the not so good wifi connection, and the little electric stove top was a bit out of date and didn't heat up very fast. But other than those small details, the experience was splendid, and well worth the price. Thank you for having us, and we will definitely book again.

Cute little cabin

Really cute small cabin. Has a lot for cooking. The bed was quite comfortable, but pillows were flat. The shower had good water pressure. There were no channels for the tv(there are a few dvds to watch), we found a puzzle in the cupboard which we really enjoyed. The wifi is quite weak and sometimes doesn’t work. Could use curtains on all windows to keep the morning light out. Quick walk to the beach!

Rustic and not quite ready

My sister and I spent 5 days/4 nights with a half a roll of 1ply toilet paper, yes there was a coffee pot BUT no filters or coffee cups, no sharp knife, a tv with no channels available, and a cement floor (cold) that the owner wanted us to take our shoes off for.

Don't do it

If you like beds that feel like you're sleeping on a kids pool full of slinkies, you've found the perfect space. Also, if you enjoy having a half bath when you're promised 1.5 baths, here ya go! Like terrible wifi coverage, this place will feel like heaven. So you want to regret going on vacation because the accommodations are bad. Look no further.

Disgusting

We had to change the blood soiled sheets upon arrival. There were dead bugs and moss growing in the window sills. Windows that either had no curtain or stained from tobacoo. Every surface had a layer of dust and the floor had clearly not been mopped in a while. I will never stay at a Vacasa rental again.

Cozy and mostly clean. Perfect for one person/couple and a larger dog. Short walk to the beach is great. A couple of minor issues. The access was tricky with both access gates super rickety and hard to open. The one closer to the parking has sharp screws sticking threw where the latch is and the gate itself was falling apart. Not secure for a small dog. The other gate had no latch and the space below was enough a small dog could fit under. Moldy shower curtain super gross.

Property manager was a pain call with concerns and texts no resolve

Was a nice stay. Could of had Curtains on the window Call And ask the property manager about this and was given the run around. With no resolve. It had no out side chairs when we asked they said The local manager. We'll take care of that but never did never heard from him..we stayed 5 nights

Back again

We’ve stayed here a few times me and my two dogs the location is wonderful to get to the beach it’s quiet and safe unloading the car is a breeze but their property seems to be going downhill the back gate needs to be fixed the yards overgrown the spiders are all in and outside of the house the bed seem to really hard the mats for the same as was there a year ago and the curtain in the shower had black mold on the bottom the bedroom pillows could use an update as well When I book this in the past through another website it cost me half the price of the new booking company has way too many fees however I will likely continue to go back just because we do love it just sad that it’s not being kept up on
