Adorable little place

The Fishherman's Cottage fit our needs for a quick overnight trip to the coast. The place is tiny but very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Location is great, but there were a few things that could be improved. Including, clearing the brush around the spot that attracted bugs (ants, bees, spiders), stain and hair on the bed, and holes in the door. The photos in post weren’t to scale. Water pressure and hot water was good, however!

Weekend trip to Florence

I enjoyed a two night stay at this unique property within walking distance to Heceta Beach in late December. The property amenities are minimal but it was quite cozy and clean.

This was a cheap and cute cabin to stay in. The vibe of the cabin is pleasing and it had some cute features to make it seem more comfortable. I appreciate that they were able to squeeze in all amenities you would need in such a small cabin.

Home away from home!

We loved our stay! It was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed! There were some cobwebs and some spiders, but that was to be expected and added to the whole vibe. We appreciated having some movies to watch while we were there!

Cute when you walk in, but 3 burned out bulbs, a poorly functional kitchen were disappointing. The bathroom was so small, a lot of people would not fit in the shower. Best attribute is the proximity to the beach.

Misleading

So I stay aweekin this little cabin which was posted with misleading information. I stayed with a moldy bathroom, an ant infestation, and garbage on the floor around the bed. Do not stay here.

Worth the price

Cute and Cozy. Had everything I needed and more. The curtains could fit the windows a bit better and be cleaned. The gate on the side of the house you have to park on should be the one that is used rather than on the other side with those rock steps. Overall, I really enjoyed it, towels were clean and fluffy, heater provided if needed, extra blankets, instant hot water in the shower. I would totally stay there again.

The info was misleading, making it seem like i had a view of the ovlcean and being able to walk to the ocean. The bathroom was moldy and the ant infestation was a little concerning.

Cute little cabin

Really cute small cabin. Has a lot for cooking. The bed was quite comfortable, but pillows were flat. The shower had good water pressure. There were no channels for the tv(there are a few dvds to watch), we found a puzzle in the cupboard which we really enjoyed. The wifi is quite weak and sometimes doesn’t work. Could use curtains on all windows to keep the morning light out. Quick walk to the beach!

Cute and close to the beach. Only a few minutes away from all the shops and restaurants.

This little cottage in Florence was adorable. It was perfect for my fiance and myself. We enjoyed staying her however it did have a few downfalls. As at&t customers we did not have service here. Also we were too far from the main house to connect to Wi-Fi. We didn't mind this at all but, others might. The only thing we did mind was the super uncomfortable bed and pillows. Overall it was a nice place but the bed definitely hurt our backs.

Rustic and not quite ready

My sister and I spent 5 days/4 nights with a half a roll of 1ply toilet paper, yes there was a coffee pot BUT no filters or coffee cups, no sharp knife, a tv with no channels available, and a cement floor (cold) that the owner wanted us to take our shoes off for.

I booked this little beach cabin for 2 days, we got to the cabin and it was nice and clean, small, but also had enough room for 2, it was enjoyable to be by the ocean as well as have a bed, on the down side, the TV was a bit out of date and glitched out while connected to the not so good wifi connection, and the little electric stove top was a bit out of date and didn't heat up very fast. But other than those small details, the experience was splendid, and well worth the price. Thank you for having us, and we will definitely book again.
