Thanks for staying at our property and providing your review. Our home is an older home in great shape and not a hotel or a new home--but kept clean and well stocked for a variety of guest needs. We really appreciate guest feedback as this allows for necessary changes and ideas.

In the start of renting to Jennifer--we should have took close note and refused her the home as it was very difficult to get her to review and get our Rental Agreement back before arrival day. It appears that she had all the excuses one could hear in the world for her responses and actions. Honestly, hindsight it's definitely foreseeable that she would not be a suitable rental candidate with all the untruthful responses she provided to us. 1. She texted us several days after leaving the rental indicating that she did not stay in the home and asked if we could refund the cleaning fee. Because she really wanted a water front home and our home was not on the water front 2. The claim of not staying in the home was blatantly untrue and was very dishonest.on her part. 3. We explained to this guest our Cancellation Policy and that we could not refund the cleaning fee as it did not fall within the time frame of cancellation. This guest dishonesty is a disrespect to our business and what we stand for. Several weeks went by and all the sudden -Jennifer sends in a negative review in and trying to attack our home in an effort to hurt our business. This guest as well as other guest who have decided to review us negative in 2018 have all tried to Extort money from us and when we stood up and said no"---they did the only thing they could do---insult our home and business with negative reviews. Guest like Jennifer and others should have paid the money up front and found a place on the water front as they wanted. We offer a clean and and reasonable place for people to be able to get away in Lincoln City. We do not offer a water front place and we don't advertise that we do. If you truly want a water front place---then please take the time and find one and not come to us and try to Scam us as we can see right through it.

We respect guest for their reiews as it allows us to improve situations they perceive as need fixing.or reviewing. We offer a clean, respectful, honest and reasonable home near the lake We do not offer a beach front home and don't advertise it that way. If you are looking for that-then this is likely not the home for you. We do not offer a stay for free home either as this guest has tried to get us to do with her intimidation, demands and theats of a negative review. We also understand things and situations arises and we must be allowed try to resolve them without a guest showing communication inpatients, threatening rudeness, bullishness and demanding as we got. And when the demands were not met-we got a negative review and our home became further under attack as described in this guest review. We wish this guest well.

We thank this guest for renting our home. There is a nice queen Air mattress in the home for use and apparently this guest did not use for some reason. It sounds like this guest did not like our pet fee policy as this is likely for the review. Our pet policy is not a pet deposit -as it is a fee paid to us to allow a pet in our home. Our pet policy is a maximum of 1 pet. This guest insisted on brining 2 pets with 6 guest in a 2 bedroom home. So the cost for 2 pet fees is likely the prompting of a review. After this guest, we have decided that we would not allow no more than 1 pet. As far as bathing soap and laundry soap--this is noted earlier on our signed and agreed upon rental agreement that these items would need to be provided by the guest.

Thanks for renting our property. I see the guest did not like the basic rules of the home---cleaning up after yourself. Our cleaning policy is to clean the dishes used by you and take your trash outside and place into the outside trash container. As far as heat--our heaters work just fine -but you have to turn them on and it will warm up. We're always a text or call away to assist any guest with problems but no call from this guest. This guest did show up at the home 3 hours early and texted and stated they are there. Our rental agreement addresses arrival time, departure time and entry information along with all key information about this home. This guest likely failed to read our basic rental agreement that would have been so helpful to her. This may have prompted her to just start to making a review as described. Anyways, we thank her for the review and will continue providing a clean and reasonable priced home home to rent.

The home is a nice place older home where it's been added on to likely a couple of times over the years. The lay out of the home floors flows well and is enjoyable if this is the attention.
