We came here for a girls trip, four girls and the location right on a private beach was awesome! However, I am quite surprised at the very high reviews on comfort for this place. It really is misleading if you need to use all the beds. First of all, this place 1A has a TON of stairs. This is not a complaint just want everyone to be aware that it's three flights to get to down to the beach and then two flights inside your unit. That is one flight to actually get to your front door and then another flight to get to the bedrooms. Outside, it's three flights to get down. So if you are older or have bad knees, it's hard to do, especially carrying your chairs and coolers. Unless you drive a prius or smart car you WILL NOT be able to fit in the parking spot. We actually had to park behind our parking spot the entire week as there was big vehicles on boths sides, and there is no way you can fit in the spot AND open your car/truck doors. PARKING is an issue. Now the inside, I am an avid traveler and stay at vacation rentals quite often. This is hands down the most uncomfortable place I have ever stayed. Everything in this unit is cheap. The couch is stained and when you sit on it it drops below the wood piece in front so you have to be pulled out and it's uncomfortable. The pull out bed on couch, the springs are broke, so the mattress actually slopes to floor and it's so then you are basically sleeping on the rods below. Plus they literally have PLASTIC on it and the twin bed. PLASTIC! All the beds are EXTREMELY noisy and the twin is like sleeping on plywood. So anytime you turn over it wakes everyone in the room up. Last but not least is the minimalist approach. We stayed a week. I know we were emailed to check in and bring our own paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, garbage bags, etc. This is because they literally left us w/ one dishwashing pod, not even a full roll of paper towels, minimal TP, one garbage bag so it's like CHEAP. We get the same amount of supplies as a two day stay...when we stayed five nights. You can thank us, we bought you some soft soap for bathrooms, dawn dishing detergent, some Pam spray, some paper plates, scent candles, etc....just to have some offerings to your guests. However, I wouldn't doubt your housekeepers take it all since there is literally nothing left behind from other people (really?). Yes, we had to buy scent candles to cover up the mold and musty smell. Mold is at vents at HVAC and on ceiling.
