Excellent location

It was a very cute and well furnished apartment. Location was fantastic and had great amenities - coffee machine, washer/dryer, snacks, hair dryer and many other things. Host was lovely.

Great location

The location of the apartment was phenomenal. Right off st marks square. The apartment is a little tight, but worked for 2 people no problem. Check in is a bit tricky since instructions arent sent via VRBO but if you just read the instructions on the door or call the host you can figure it out really quickly. The hosts were great super responsive and let us store our bags in the unit before check in. Lots of the stairs to get in so if you have large luggage be prepared. Really the best part of the place is the location it’s hard to beat it!

Great Location!!!!! Right in the middle of everything.

Wonderful small apartment just a stone’s throw from San Marco Square. It was a fairly narrow staircase going up but it was worth it. Great little apartment with AC, washer/dryer, small kitchen unit and great bathroom. Space is a premium in Venice so you’re not going to find anything too big for less than a mint. We were thrilled with this place. Centrally located in between Rialto Bridge and San Marco square. Highly recommended.

My husband and i enjoyed our stay at the apartment which was sparkling clean and nicely appointed. The bathroom and shower was large for Italy. The location couldn't be more perfect for seeing all of Venice. But, take caution to know where you are when you go out. The location is convenient. right off the square, but all of Venice is confusing, and we spent about an hour looking for it the first night......our fault for rushing out without orienting ourselves. Monica and her staff were very accommodating.

Perfect and memorable

We found the apartment rather easy to find off of San Marco. Perfect location central to everything. The apartment was perfectly appointed with everything you need. The arrival staff was waiting for us to explain everything and to welcome us. We were surprised to find breakfast foods available for our stay which was most welcome. This apartment was very clean and comfortable and quiet. We were even able to plug in our iPhone to the sound system so we could listen to music. Wifi was great and washer/dryer was s little confusing but once figured out, was wonderful. We would highly recommend a stay here!

The apartment was very close to St. Mark’s square and they supplied snacks and beverages upon our arrival. Small but typical apartment for the area. Only issue was there was no remote for the satellite service and couldn’t get through to the management

Great location just off St Mark's Square. Nice quiet apartment, well equipped mini kitchen. Appreciated the food items left so didn't have to rush looking for a shop after arrival.

Absolute GEM

Easy to find and check in, literally just off the square from St Mark’s Basilica. The perfect place to stay and enjoy Venice. Amazing apartment that only added to our wonderful stay.

Great location; clean and quiet

It’s a great place to stay close to the San Marco Square; patisseries, restaurants, shoppes are close and it’s easy to get back to apartment for an afternoon rest before venturing out in the evening. I appreciated the ‘breakfast items’ that were made available. I was very pleased with everything.

Near San Marco square

The apartment owner requested that I get what’s app on my phone to make communication easier. He was able to send videos through the app that showed in detail how to find the apartment and check in. Be sure not to take the card out of the slot by the door when you leave. I misunderstood the sign, thinking it was just a convenient spot to keep the key so you wouldn’t forget it, when in fact the power to the apartment goes out when it is removed. We came back to a dark and stuffy apartment and it took a while to figure out what was wrong. There could be written instructions for the washer/drying machine as even looking it up online and having an employee come up to show us how to use it we had a lot of trouble getting our laundry done. The steps are very steep. 56 of them. I knew that when I booked but had injured my knee earlier on our trip. Everywhere you go in Venice has lots of steps though. Venice was our favorite city we visited and this apartment was the most convenient location of the four cities we visited in Italy.

Perfect location!

Property is true to on line add and communication with hosts was easy. While it is true there are 3 flights of narrow stairs, having a getaway from the crowds so close is worth the effort. Plus which I viewed them as the cost of eating all the wonderful food. The apartment is tiny but this is Europe and they are ALL tiny so I was not disappointed at all. The gracious hosts even supplied some breakfast supplies to get us started which was so appreciated! Monica gave us good recommendations for awesome restaurants and directions to a Co-op for purchasing other food supplies. So much to see and experience we will need to return and hopefully this cute apartment will still be available!

Will stay again

The property is managed professionally with the well being of guests in mind. The apartment is clean. Toiletries are well provided. Coffee, milk, tea, juice, fruits and cookies were also provided. Strangely, the air conditioner shut off around 2 am each day we stayed. We are very satisfied with the owner’s response to the situation. Immediately, he sent the technician and his assistant to fix the problem each day. This was good because it was in the high 90s Fahrenheit outside. The location is excellent. We will not hesitate to recommend this property. Tip for future travelers: bring insect repellent, the mosquitoes outside are hungry.

Perfect Visit

Cannot tell how wonderful it is to step out of your apartment door and be in the perfect spot. Only a few steps to the San Marco Square and numerous shops and restaurants. Didn't get lost in Venice as is often the case since it was so easy to find the Splendid Star. Unit was clean upon our arrival and the kitchen was amply stocked with bread, jellies, juice and fruit. Would return again should our travels take us back to Venice!!

Great location!

The apartment was decorated Venetian style which made it fun! The location is PERFECT, an quick walk to San Marco Catedral and right on the shopping and restaurant pathway through charming area. Easy to also catch a ferry and transport to all sites. There is a great "deli/bar" just around the corner that we used for grabbing a quick croissant for the morning and sandwich to take out for lunch. Maria, the property attendant was very kind and helpful.

Fantastic! 5 Star property!

High quality remodelling. Beautiful venician furnishings. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with cookies, milk, coffee and lots more supplied. Air conditioning worked great. Cannot say enough. Loved it.

Wonderful hospitality, and a perfect apartment for two!

The apartment suited us perfectly, and Monica & Fabio were excellent to work with! Their communications were quick and gave all the information needed. The washer was broken, so Monica had our clothes laundered for us. The apartment was spacious and had all the necessities, and very thorough instructions for everything.

In the thick of the action in San Marco Square

This is a small apartment in the thick of San Marco Square. If you want to be close to the square this is the place for you. If you like staying in old city quarters, this is for you. The city literally surrounds you (not unlike staying in the old city in Jerusalem) and this apartment epitomizes that. The staff is attentive and left some food goodies and drinks for us in the frig upon arrival. Be aware that there is very limited space for baggage, really only one surface to place a bag on, or you will give up seating or table space. The only other place for baggage is on the floor in the sitting area, but we had trouble moving in the space with a large bag on the floor. The small air conditioning unit in the sitting area works pretty well for the whole small apartment and it was critical for us even in May because opening the windows meant mosquitoes in the apartment. If mosquitoes are bothersome to you, this is not the apartment for you. Unfortunately, even with the windows closed and a fair number of accurate swats on our part, there were still mosquitoes who kept us up at night, with bites to boot in the morning.

Appartement extrêmement fidèle à la description, très propre et très bien équipé ! le mélange entre le style venitien et le moderne est une tres bonne idée ;) il est également idealement situé, à peine à 3 min à pieds de la place St.Marc, lieux de visites, vaporettos et de tout commerces Un grand merci également pour l'attention particulière car lorsque vous arrivez et que vous êtes accueilli avec boissons, fruits et autres aliments de première necessité qui vous évites de courir au supermarché du coin, ça soulage énormement ... et enfin un grand merci à Monica et Fabio pour leur réactivité à répondre aux messages et à vous répondre au tel, surtout lorsque vous êtes perdu dans les ruelles de Venise ;)
