This is an absolutely perfect villa. I could not recommend it more highly.
*Check in / Check out process*
Delightful - the owner is charming, available and easy to talk to, our annoying flight delay was accepted without complaint and we had the perfect amount of explanations on arrival and departure. The owner made me feel welcome to contact them during our stay if we had any questions or problems (which we did not).
*The Villa*
I have rented villas in Ibiza for a number of years now, and this is definitely the best I ever had. It is in excellent condition, very clean, good furniture and thoughtfully kitted out. By this I mean that there is more than enough tableware (tasteful porcellaine plates, bowls, serving dishes, cutlery etc, including puring jugs, a champagne ice bucket, trays to carry things to the table..), and the kitchen is fitted with high end white goods. The large dishwasher looked new and was easy to use. There are two fridge freezers in the kitchen (so useful for a big group!) and another small fridge in the 'outside kitchen' which was perfect for drinks.
I have never stayed in a villa where the cooking ware was so perfect - all the right saucepans and frying pans, ladles, serving spoons, whisks - it was a pleasure to cook with such great and complete equipment (not usually provided in rental properties..).
The outdoor BBQ was a delight and even some coal was provided. We enjoyed several BBQs on the large dining table in the beautiful outside area (more below).
The bathrooms are all large, clean, with excellent water pressure and there was plenty of hot water.
The bedsheets were tasteful, the mattresses were comfortable and there were more than enough coat hangers.
Outside area
The pool area and outside living space is huge and beautiful, the photos do not do this justice. The sunloungers look new and the mattresses/pillows were spotless.
Particular highlights/unexpected bonus:
-midweek cleaning and fresh towels
-the fact that basic items were already provided (a small olive oil/vinegar, drinks,sugar, salt/pepper, toiletpaper, dishwasher tabs). Not to be taken for granted!
-the cute toiletries and the fact that the towels were embroidered
-the lemon tree (we used 'own lemons' for cooking!)
-the wall art
-the beautifully kept garden. Wonderful flowers and palm trees.
Conclusion
This villa is clearly and rightly loved by its owners (and now, also us). Please take good care of it, if you are lucky enough to stay there.
