From the beginning Rebecca and Andy were very clear and communicative. We ended up having to rent a boat (which I HIGHLY suggest) because our plane was 4 hrs late. That threw off the water taxi guy and he wouldn’t be able to accommodate us with our arrival time (he also charges $70 per trip) If you are not renting a boat you should plan to call 2 weeks or so in advance to schedule with him and any trips you may need to take off the island.
We landed, hit the grocery store to stock up on food, drinks, sunblock and anything else we thought we would need/want (baggies,etc..) We got to Eldred’s Marina after closing so I put a note in the window of my car with my phone number on it. They will definitely tow you, please be sure you park in a correct parking spot. They are great people but they 100% follow the rules they’ve set out. Call them and they will work with you on payment but if you park somewhere you shouldn’t they say sorry and you are moved.
Now on to the magic! Our finding the house was difficult as it was getting darker and we were distracted by the numerous dolphins all around us and huge jumping fish like we were in the Little Mermaid. After being guided in by Rebecca and Andy it was sunset and we only briefly got to see outside and Rebecca treated us to an amazing tour of the property and very thoughtful amenities (beach towels, sand toys, games, fire pits and roasting equipment, umbrellas, tents, gills, kayaks, fishing equipment, nets, paddle boards, boogie board
