We really loved our stay at this house on Jekyll Island. The location is perfect — practically on the beach. One of our favorite moments was waking up just before sunrise, walking out to the beach, and watching the incredible sunrise over the ocean. So peaceful and beautiful. We also loved seeing deers every day, both mornings and evenings, right near the house. It made the whole experience feel even more special. The house is very close to Driftwood Beach and the Historic District, so exploring the island was easy and convenient.Another unique detail: this house once belonged to Tally Fish, a historian and writer who helped preserve the history of the Historic District, especially Indian Mound Cottage. She even wrote a book about it. The house truly feels like a place with its own history and soul.Very cozy, welcoming, and full of character — we’ll remember our stay here very warmly.
