First off, the location was great. However, the photos of the place were very old. The furnishings were cheap and very worn (see photos). The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom, which had no drain. Further, we had agreed on a 3 pm check in, but when we arrived we were told it would not be ready for another hour. It would have been nice if he had communicated that to us before we returned. The cleaning needed a bit more attention. Some parts were dusty, and there were even crumbs under the toaster.

Right in the heart of the old city. Amazing location. Spacious suite with a nice firm bed. There's a supermarket just a 100 feetFrom the front door. Only criticism is there is no operable window. To work around this they've installed a lockable metal cage like barrier between the entrance door and the suite. In order get air circulation you can leave the entrance door open a bit and lock the metal barrier. At the back of the suite is a large air shaft that completes a circulation path for the air. This whole setup adds to the character. You do feel safe in this apartmentAnd would stay here again

Overall, this was not the best experience. The location was excellent with a nearby grocery store. Close to bus line. The pictures didn't exactly match the actual items in the VRBO. The furnishings were a random assortment of items you would find at a flea market. The couch was full of hikes and worn through. Lots of quirks and character, which could be charming I suppose, but the description was written in a very favorable light. We ended up moving to a different VRBO for the last night.

Large beautiful loft

The owner went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and easy check-in and check out process. He helped me with my 50 lb bag to the Uber at 1:15 a.m. and if he hadn't woken me up I'd have missed my flight. The entry access was plenty wide despite what a former guest reported. I stayed 5 nights and did not experience the loud neighbor noises that were also reported by said reviewer. It had everything you could need for an apartment feel and experience. Great location for sightseeing and walking about. I would definitely stay there again

Déconseillé pour les familles

Le logement est bien situé dans Lisbonne, proche des restaurants / commerces et juste à côté d'un Pingo Doce. Il dispose de tout le nécessaire ce qui est très appreciable. Néanmoins, je ne conseille pas ce loft pour les familles avec enfants en bas âges et/ou personne véhiculée. En effet, il n'y a pas de fenêtres, le loft se situe en plein milieu d'un grand escalier ce qui le rend inaccessible en poussette, les prises électriques et multiprises sont visibles, l'endroit pour étendre le linge est rempli de gros cailloux ce qui fait mal aux pieds en étendant et détendant le linge, l'annonce indiquait "parking sur place" sans préciser que les places sont réservées aux résidents et que la police passe tous les jours et qu'il faut donc se garer au Pingo Doce pour un montant de 20€/nuit. Ceci engendre un coût qui n'était pas prévu et quand j'ai contacté le propriétaire pour lui spécifier, il n'a jms répondu mais à pris le temps de changer l'annonce...

We enjoyed our stay. Was nice to be so central. Numa was helpful and explained the little details about how everything worked. We would stay again.

Cute layout, convenient location, but needs a good scrub and an update.

My sister and I stayed at Nuno's property (she stayed a few days, I stayed longer). We are in our 50s and 60s and so this apartment turned out not to be a good match for us. It's better for a young person who is used to hostels. The location is fantastic with a castle at the top and a supermarket and restaurant down below; the apartment is in the heart of Lisboa, close to everything. There were a few things that need improvement: First and foremost, the apartment should be given a deep cleaning BEFORE the guests arrive. We found dustballs in several places. Other things were sticky and old. For example, we washed the dishes BEFORE we used them. The air in the apartment is a problem at night; if you open the front door and open the bathroom door, you can get a good cross breeze. If you open the front door at night, though, 1) you feel insecure, and 2) it's noisier. I say noisier because it's VERY noisy. You can hear what people are saying in the apartments next door and above. Another suggestion, fix the bathroom. I think a lot of the dirt comes from the concrete floor and the place where you hang laundry. That part of the bathroom is outside with rocks on the floor. Another thing that would benefit from fixing is the front door and gate ratio. I mean, the front door opens in and the gate opens out. If you are an obese person, forget about staying here. I am not obese, so I fit. However, I must have banged my legs on the gate nearly every time!

Poor Management

I was very disappointed with the place. The place was not clean, didn't have any instructions regarding lights or other important information (emergency phone number). I was told the vacuum cleaner was broken that was the reason the place wasn't clean. The shower drain was plug with hair. And since the place was on the first floor the sewer in the bathroom smelled very bad, no matter how much I clean smell very bad. The TV didn't work. I complained and after 3 weeks in the unit, the owner purchased a new TV and have to be there for the TV delivery and cable person. The unit is located on a very busy street (stairs) with a lot of foot traffic since the door is by the street sometimes I didn't feel safe with the fight and screening of the people in the street and the neighbors upstairs.

appartement moyen/plus

sombre, sans fenêtre et bruyant (les ados aiment s'asseoir devant la porte jusqu'à tard), l'appart est fonctionnel et ne manque de presque rien. Les draps et couettes étaient tachées. L'emplacement est super et la proximité du Pingo est appréciée. Teresa , notre hôte nous a bien accueillis.

Nice & very conveniently placed studio

We had an excellent stay in Lisbon. Nuno and Maria's studio is very conveniently located within the old Lisbon, very close to the castle - very easy to find too with all the directions they provided to us. The studio is clean, and with all commodities incl. Internet access. Their friend Teresa is very welcoming, and gave us great tips to discover the city. We would recommend coming here.

Great Location

The best thing about this studio apartment is the location. It is central to everything! You're a five minute walk to the Rio Tejo all the shops near Praça do Comércio, a ten minute walk to Alfama, Chiado, Bica... and not to mention the Pingo Doce grocery store literally down a flight of stairs. We stayed three months and the apartment was very comfortable. There are no windows in the studio, meaning no natural light, unless you keep the doors open. Otherwise, we had a great stay and recommend this property.

Studio agréable au centre de Lisbonne

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Lisbonne. Le studio est confortable et surtout idéalement situé dans le centre historique ce qui nous a permis de visiter la plupart des quartiers à pied. La proximité d’une supérette ainsi que de nombreux restaurant est également très appréciable.

Studio idéalement placé à deux pas du château

Excellent accueil par Thérésa qui parle parfaitement le français. Studio confortable,très bien équipé,et particulierement bien situé, proche du château et à 10 mn à pieds de Rossio ou de l'Alfama. Simplement un peu bruyant le matin,mais petit inconvénient vite dissipé. Location à conseiller

Grand studio style "Loft " Lisbonne centre "

Nous avons beaucoup apprecié ce grand studio de style " Loft " spacieux, propre et bien equipé. L'absence de fenetene nous a absolument pas gené et cela est largement compensé par son emplacement au centre de Lisbonne qui permet de visiter les principaux quartiers a pied ( Castello, Baxia, Chiado, Bairo Alto ) D'autre part la proximite du supermarche ( 20 metres ) est tres appreciable. La proximite de nombreux restaurants tres bon marche mais excellents ainsi que des bars avec terrasses offrant des vues magnifiques sur Lisbonne est loin d'etre negligeable. N'oublions pas aussi la qualite de l'accueil et la gentillesse de Teresa qui reste disponible en cas de besoin ou de renseignements. Je ne serai que trop conseiller ce lieu et le louerrai a nouveau pour un prochain sejour.

Agradable, bien ubicado, bien equipado y cómodo

El studio me pareció agradable, bien equipado para pasar unas cuantas noches, super bien ubicado, pues al estar en el mismo centro de Lisboa se hace fácil llegar a conocer su casco antiguo. La persona de lo administra y mantiene super amable y nos dió valiosas recomendaciones. A pesar que frente al studio hay un Parking de pago ( uff que nos salió caro). La única dificultad que tuvimos fue con el parking del coche en las calles aledañas. Claro que eso no depende del studio. Por todo lo demás me pareció bien.
