"Fontana Mancina"

(accommodates 8 adults + cots for children are available if required) A stone built farmhouse with inside staircase. Ground floor: large Kitchen with fireplace, large living room with fireplace, kitchen with dishwasher, lavatory, a store room with washing machine, terrace with barbecue. On the first floor three twin bedded rooms, one with fireplace, two baths. A large garden opens onto the valley. The former farmhouse has been recently restored preserving original materials, design and structures. It is furnished with old country furniture: Equipped with independent heating, hot running water, washing machine, kitchen and kitchenware, gas cooker, oven, refrigerator, barbecue, towels, sheets and blankets which will be changed once a week.


You can book guided trips around through a cooperative of touristic guides (we will give you all the details during the booking).

Horrible

I went to this house with my family and was very embarrased with what we found. I have taken the comments of my family members and have taken pictures and videos of the house so that I can substantiate my review more in detail if necessary. We would summarize our experience in one word: horrible. Home appliances were extremely old, not adapted for a house of 6/8 people, and some of them even not working. Wifi only works downstairs and there is no telephone reception. Electricity usage was deliberately limited (one of our family members is an electrician) and the socket in the washing room is dangerous. The description of the place was not correct like e.g. "a fully equiped kitchen" or "shower and bathroom at the swimming pool". I would not recommend this house at all.

Wir hatten 2 extrem erholsame Wochen in einem schönen, urigen, geschmackvoll eingerichtetem Haus. Ein Traumgarten für Hund & Kinder, ein großer Pool und toller Grill... was will man mehr? Danke an Kirsten und Patricia für die super Kommunikation und Abwicklung sowohl vor als auch während dem Aufenthalt. Danke an Michele für alle Belange vor Ort. Bis auf das, dass das WLAN nicht gut funktioniert und die Matratzen der Betten sehr weich sind, hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir sind erholt und das ist die Hauptsache! Herzlichen Dank von uns allen! Great private location

Wonderful reception and communication during our stay. Marvellous pool. Really cane to rest. House is old style and provided all the comfort we needed. Wifi is okay but telco traffic was not possible. No operator available. . .

Lovely old country house

The house is in a very nice secluded location, it is of a good size for four, and has a nice garden plus a great pool which we enjoyed a lot. The couple looking after the house were very helpful. Downsides for us were: ancient uncomfortable bedding with old style metal springs, unpractical kitchen with no space for food storage and dated or insufficient equipment.

Kleines Häuschen in schöner Umgebung

Das Häuschen hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, es hat an nichts gefehlt und Frau Marchei und ihr Team waren sehr nett. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen wahrscheinlich schon im Herbst.

Wunderbar!

Vielen lieben Dank an Frau Marchei für einen wunderbaren Urlaub! Diese verwunschene Ecke zwischen Latium und Umbrien war für uns Italien-Liebhaber genau das Richtige. Jeden Tag ein kleiner Ausflug: nach Orvieto, an den Bolsena-See, in Rom waren wir auch – und es gibt noch so viel zu sehen. Und Sie haben uns so viele gute Tipps gegeben. Dann: totale Entspannung in diesem schönen Garten, die italienische Frühlings-Sonne geniessen und diese Ruhe! Unseren Kindern hat es auch sehr gefallen. Entdeckungsreisen draussen an der frischen Luft - die i-Pads hatten mal Pause ;-). Die gemütlichen Abende in dem hübschen Studio, die nett eingerichteten Zimmer; alles in allem ein Haus wie aus dem Bilderbuch. Wir kommen bald wieder! Sole, relax, piscina e barbecue, che fortuna!

Il meteo ci ha assistito in questa splendida fuga dalla città! Sole, piscina, prato verde rilassante e ciliege ci hanno accolto in un meraviglioso primo pomeriggio. Siamo stati accompagnati dalla Signora Patrizia in questo bel casale, curato e pulito e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni per visitare Civita di Bagnoregio e Orvieto, compreso dove mangiare. La mattina dopo invece di continuare le gite non siamo riusciti a lasciare la piscina dove i bambini si sono divertiti un mondo e abbiamo organizzato un barbecue e mangiato sul prato. La casa è fresca e la notte si dorme benissimo. Dobbiamo ritornare perché un weekend è troppo breve!
