Review for stay from 20 July 2024 to 27 July 2024

Review for stay from 30 June 2018 to 07 July 2018

Our family had an absolute wonderful time in Villa Gaville, when we stayed for a week in July. The villa itself is stunning with new facilities that are all of very high quality. Everything was spotless when we arrived. The villa is very spacious with beautiful bedrooms, all equipped with everything that you might need. The location and views are spectacular. There are numerous places to sit, relax and enjoy the views in the beautiful gardens, which are impeccably kept. The swimming pool, which our kids absolutely loved, was very well maintained and clean. The location was perfect. Right in the heart of Chianti, close to some beautiful small villages as well as the larger towns of Florence and Sienna. As beautiful as the place is, the highlight for us was the wonderful hospitality that Elisabetta and her family provided. They were extra conscious about providing us with privacy while at the same time could not have been more welcoming, helpful and hospitable. Elisabetta had great suggestions about places to go and things to do, which we very much appreciated. Not only did Elisabetta provide us with wine and food when we arrived, not to mention a beautiful desert, but we also had the opportunity to sample her mother’s wonderful cooking while we were there. We truly had an amazing time at Villa Gaville, made even more special by Elisabetta and her family and we definitely hope to come back again.

Das Haus bietet alles, was man benötigt. [English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We (4 adults and 2 children) felt very comfortable in our 2 week vacation. The house has everything you need. The house with all its rooms (bedroom, living room, kitchen and also the bathrooms) is spacious and offers every comfort. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need (large fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, etc.). In the laundry room there is a washing machine and enough space to dry the wet laundry, towels, etc. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and offers plenty of opportunities for retreat and, depending on your wishes, enough sun or shade. The pool and the surrounding area are also very spacious. The pool has roman steps, very beneficial when entering the pool and the children could play on the stairs. Particularly advantageous was the floor covering of the pool area made of marble, even at high temperatures, the floor was always pleasant to walk on. The view is recommended at any time and from any place of the house. Either you look on the olive trees of the landlords or in the surrounding mountains with all their olive trees, grape vines or the Tuscan forest. The view of the valley offers a breathtaking view. The landlords were great !! They were always very worried about us and was available to us with help and advice at any time. She has provided us with all the information (all information about the house, travel and excursion tips, shopping tips, etc.) and he has taken care of the property and the perfect cleaning of the pool. The landlords have always taken care not to be visible and have always observed our privacy. For example, he cleaned the pool late at night or in the morning very early, so we found a perfect pool every morning. The pictures and the description on the website are in line with the impression on the spot! We were very excited !!

Review for stay from 23 July 2016 to 06 August 2016

Villa Rose del Chianti was a slice of heaven. From the moment we arrived on the property relaxation took a strong hold on the entire family. Our merry band of seven (three adults, four kids) could not have been happier with our stay -- unless there was a chance to make it last longer than our planned two weeks. From the delicious lunch that greeted us (mom is a fantastic cook), to the care in helping us find the right tours in Tuscany, to the proximity of the owners when we needed extra support, absolutely everything was perfect. Using Villa Rose del Chianti as our "base" while in Tuscany was a bit of divine planning. We were able to spend full days exploring (Pisa, Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano, Sienna and Elba) juxtaposed with days lounging by the pool splashing and playing. The villa itself is stunning. New construction built with care and thought to serve as a true home-away-from-home. Being able to make a proper homecooked meal without missing a step from the fun of the pool and vistas made it easy to be a stress-free mom. And, the views. Greeted each morning with views of the gorgeous mountains and working olive groves gave our morning coffee routines a whole new (and much more rationale) pace. We can not recommend Villa Rose del Chianti enough to anyone looking for an Italian holiday. We loved every second of our stay and can not imagine a more perfect way to make lasting family memories. Thank you, Elisabetta!

Absolutely exquisite- perfect base for our 6 person family holiday ( age range 12-72) Modern villa in a sympathetic rural setting has everything. It marries the real self-catering base, having with every modern amenity, with easy accessibility to nearby towns and villages and the motorway for visits to Tuscany's major cities. The host family's proximity was a huge bonus, their determination to give us the bet possible holiday complimented with an equal regard for our privacy - the tour and tasting they arranged for us at a nearby winery was a particular highlight of our stay. We had a wonderful holiday and really cannot command the villa highly enough - 5 stars
