Lovely Neighborhood and Host

We were greeted by the owner with such kindness. The host was eager to share local information and advice on train times. Very clean and quiet Barcelona building -- will certainly book here next time in town.

This location is excellent for the tours we needed to see. It’s walking to the Sagrada. Joan our host was so helpful even with our luggages. The elevator was a great help as we had plenty to do our 10 day cruise after our stay at the apartment. The place is cozy, clean and very comfortable. I will stay here again if or when we decide to go back to Barcelona. Thank you Joan for making our stay wonderful!

Joan & Vanessa were extremely wonderful people and they made sure we had a good stay in Barcelona. They were very communicative and always responded quickly to our messages. The area around the apartment is safe and very, very close to Sagrada Familia. Fantastic location, lots of shops and close to everything. Metro is steps away as well.The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfy. We were a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) and, while it was a tight fit, we didn’t spend much time at the apartment so it was good for our sleeping needs.Our only complaint is that, when we were getting ready for bed, flushing toilets, using the sinks or showering past 10pm, the neighbours would knock on the wall to be quiet. Hard to not use the bathroom when you are maximizing sightseeing during the day and coming home later at night after customary late dinners in Spain (and we were not playing music or talking loudly either).And one last comment (I did see this on another review), while this did not affect the overall quality of our stay, there are some extra costs not listed on the posting, which were a security deposit, a tourist tax, and a cleaning fee, that had to be paid in cash at arrival. If you are from the EU, probably not a huge deal to withdraw money, but being from Canada, it would have been nice to know those costs upon booking, so we could have brought the cash with us. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay in Barcelona, thank you Joan & Vanessa.

Good location but extremely small. There is no AC & it was record heat in Barcelona. We ended up not even staying, we checked into a hotel. We forfeited the cost of the stay, it was so uncomfortable. Owner requires security deposit in cash (euros) which was very inconvenient & unsafe. Wouldn’t recommend, at least in summer.

Place was excellent, except for a bad shower drain, but it was taken cared of right away by Joan. Being a homeowner myself, that kind problem can happen anytime, anywhere. But kudos to Joan, he was very attentive and stayed in contact with us from weeks prior to our stay all the way till our last day. He answered all our questions and gave us plenty of advise. Location is great, right by Avenida de Gaudi. Sagrada is just a walk. Very close to the Metro. Many groceries and restaurants around the apartment. Place is well furnished and clean.

Très agréable séjour

L'appartement est fidèle à l'annonce, très propre et situé au calme. Joan est très sympathique, il a pris le temps de bien nous accueillir et nous a même offert une bouteille de Lambrusco ! Je recommande cet appartement.

Joan fue muy atento de principio a fin. Muy comunicativo, amable, nos ayudó con sugerencias de cosas por hacer para conocer, el lugar es super seguro, calmado, céntrico y muy limpio. Definitivamente un lugar al que volveríamos. 10/10

Trés bon séjour

Nous avons passé à 4 un très bon séjour dans l'appartement qui est vraiment situé à 200 m de la Sagrada Familia. Très propre et très pratique.... Joan, le propriétaire etait très disponible pour toutes nos demandes....

Apartamento pequeno como anunciado porem confortável, cozinha com tudo que é necessário, localização excelente junto a meios de transporte e distância a pé da Santíssima Trindade. Estação de Metro a 100m, supermercado a 150m, restaurantes, cafés e comercio na porta.
