Great place for family reunion!

This was a gorgeous property set on the side of the hill with magnificent views out the front as well as the back. Kitchen was well equipped, and we enjoyed our meals at the beautiful huge dining table, Our group was 17 and there were plenty of sleeping accommodations. Would definitely recommend for family reunions, or other large groups.

Wedding at Serre Vineyards

The home is beautiful. The views the sunrise and sunset. The only problem was infestation of stink bugs. Outside and inside. It still was ok just a little creepy since I’m not a bug person. I would still stay there again my family had a great time and close to a lot of different things.

Wonderful, spacious property with amazing views, perfect for our retreat

What a perfect location for our retreat! Plenty of space for shared meals and meetings. You can’t beat the huge deck...we spent as much time as we could out there!

Outstanding stay

Beautiful place in beautiful location. Natalie was very responsive and helpful and had great suggestions on places to visit. I would definitely recommend this group and their cabins and plan to stay again. One note, there are a lot of ladybugs, but that is understandable and didn’t negatively impact our stay.

Great location. Great House for big group

We had a great time spending 4 days in this beautiful home. The owner was great at communicating and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back to visit. The house was so open and had a variety of different rooms for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy each others company. I have rented many times and this experience was one of the best. Thank you for letting us stay!

Great start to our summer vacation!

We had a great time ! The cabin was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay there. We are looking to go back again this fall. It was a simple and quick getaway with our kids as we are starting our summer vacation and we found so many things to do, we would have loved to stay a bit longer. Really enjoyed it. Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful cabin.

Great House!

Owner is very friendly, very quick with communication and truly wants you to enjoy your stay. Hosted a small business retreat for 6 people and everyone loved it. Great set up for brining provisions for cooking and eating in the lodge, wonderful open floor plan on main level with large table. Everything was in good condition, from the kitchen/grilling to the TVs, linens, etc. The views and the clean air will have you eager to book your return trip.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Very spacious yet cozy at the same time. We celebrated a birthday and had 7 couples staying. Each had their own room which was great for privacy. The only complaints we had were the matresses were hard in some of the rooms and the hot tub was not working while we were there. The owners were very willing to work with us and were attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this home for large groups. Plenty of outdoor seating as well!

Mountain Weekend

The property is spectacular and is exactly as the photos show. We had a lot of items when we checked in that needed to be addressed and still no one reached back out from the team after I sent a list of items that went wrong. The major issues were addressed in a timely manner. Overall the property was amazing and very super quiet area. Location is great and the house is huge. Lots of space for everyone. Response from the manager was timely when issues occurred.

Great for family reunions

The property is beautiful and has great views. We had plenty of rooms & beds for all 19 of us. The LARGE walk-in pantry just off the kitchen was a very pleasant bonus...we were able to store all of our dry goods/extra food in there, out of the way. The hot tub and pool table were enjoyed daily. The owner was quick in returning calls when we had questions/issues. She wanted to make sure our stay there was as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. We all had a wonderful stay there. Thank you!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Beautiful location and the house was perfect for our family. Enjoyed our week away. The kitchen is very sparse on cooking items.. The PM was quick to respond when the A/C stopped working, although we did have to wait at the house until the repairman came. Also you might want to think about replacing the hot tub cover as we were afraid to use it, which was disappointing.

Lovely home with wonderful view

We really enjoyed staying here. The home was very nice and I really liked the layout. It worked well for our large annual family gathering. All the decking and covered porches was nice and helped with the 2 rainy, foggy days. The view was awesome, especially the back, but the front was pretty also. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and games. We visited Mt. Airy and did some hiking in Stone Mountain State Park. Natalie was very helpful to us also. Thank you, Natalie.

Breathtaking Mountain Views!!

We had the most amazing time in this gorgeous, spacious cabin!! We didn't want to go home!!! Everything was perfect, we couldn't have asked for more!! Thanks for recommending the Shelton Vineyard! We had a full afternoon of wine tasting.. My favorite!! We will definitely be in touch soon, the family is already asking if we could spend Christmas in the Cabin in the mountains!!! Thank you so much for an unforgettable vacation.!!

Fantastic stay in a magical place

From a 1 year old to an 80 year old we had a wonderful time enjoying the mountain views and amenities of this house. There was solitude and beauty all around us. The back porch was a great place to sit and watch the sun rise each morning. The kitchen had everything we needed for all our needs. We were able to go on short exursions each day. Some of our group went hiking to Stone Mountain as others went to Mt. Airy. Scoops Ice Cream was a real hit. The area is beautiful and we would come again.

Family Christnas

Natalie, the owner was nearby and responsive to our needs. The inside and outside offers many areas for family From the gas log fireplace to the rocking chairs overlooking the mountains to the hot tub and fire pit your family can enjoy a fun filled family vacation. entertainment but also separate areas for a family like us with ages 1-67. For those who also want to stay plugged in the internet works well with several devices. We loved our time in this special place for an opportunity to reconnect

Beautiful, spacious house in the mountains

We loved our stay at the Beary Cottage! The house was incredibly spacious, well equipped, and in the perfect location for a mountain getaway. During our stay, we were able to visit Mt. Airy and a local winery, all within a 30 min drive. There are also trails near the house that are great for hiking and trail running if you are okay with hills! The views were beautiful, as was the house, and we would definitely recommend at stay there to anyone going with a large group! The long dining room table and large couch in the main living room made for a great setup to spend quality time with everyone in our group. The rooms and spaces were even better than the pictures. We were overall very happy with our stay!

Great week in the mountains

The home provided plenty of space for all 20 of us. Beds were comfortable and the home was clean. We had a few maintenance issues along the way, but Natalie was able to get them all taken care of. The views were beautiful. Our family wants to come back again next time. A few small items to note - the water pressure in the upstairs shower was low and there was a good amount of ladybugs and some stink bugs. Thankfully neither of those are agressive bugs and were easy to work around, but might be something to have looked at.

Our family(19 of us) spend New Years At Paradise Mountain State

Cannot say enough about this beautiful and big house where we spend a beautiful vacation, and quality time as a family. Very convenient for a big family with grandkids ranging from 19 to 2 years, plus 5 couples. We all had wonderful accommodations and even thou we were all together, we had enough space to have down time. The views are incredible, the wrap around porch amazing, and the fire pit was enjoyed by all almost every night. You feel you are secluded but actually a lot to do within half an hour. Thank you to the owner Natalie , since the time that we rented the cabin, she gave us a lot of information in regards to activities and places to see. Very hard to get everybody together for a vacation like this but when we do it again we will Definitely go back .

Gorgeous Views

Booked cabin for family birthday celebration weekend. The lay out was perfect. Main floor provided a room with en-suite bathroom which was perfect for our 90 year old grandfather. Plenty of room for the 17 of us. Natalie was always available just a phone call / text away. She quickly responded to inquiries and her recommendation of The Depot Restaurant was a right on. I would have given my stay 5 stars were it not for a few details that can easily be remedied by owner (loose towel racks, loose door handles, pots missing handles and I recommend that all linens and pillows be replaced). We were all pleased with how well the cabin was distributed. The decor was homey and provided a family feel. The views were stunning. We were able to experience it with snow and it was magical.

Fabulous get-away spot!

Stayed here with a group of friends for an extended weekend - - we've done cabin trips before, but this rental was by far the best, no contest! The accommodations were great. There were 12 of us, and there was ample room. Spacious, open floor plan. Great kitchen, with lots of room for cooking, and a dining table large enough to fit us all (and then some!) for shared dinners. Awesome wrap-around porch, with a spectacular view (just disappointed we did not get to use as much due to rain - but we did make use when possible). Pool table, theatre seating in the basement for movie viewing, ample room for outdoor games, jacuzzi, etc., for entertainment. Everyone had a great time, and was thoroughly impressed with the cabin and accommodations. The owner, Natalie, was also very accommodating, and even reached out to me via text and phone call when i had any questions. She was very hospitable and friendly. Loved this place, and hope to make future visits!
