The house met our needs except not 18 chairs for family meals. Beds were so so. Air conditioner also so so.

It was Perfect!

As a Board, we meet once in-person annually. We are a group of 7 and this rental was perfect. Every member had the privacy they deserved. The views of the ocean were beautiful. We also had the luxury of meeting indoors and outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. It was a wonderful weekend. The location was perfect!

We had a large group and the house was perfect. It’s right on the beach and just outside of all the crazy traffic of downtown.

Great stay

Great location right on the beach. Grandkids had a wonderful time. The location is close to town yet feels uncrowded and private. The house is large and comfortable with everything that we needed. We will return again.

Perfect home for a perfect time!

This home was perfect, so close to the beach. Wonderful size, the kitchen was dreamy, so close to town, quiet, great location, just perfect. Unforgettable memories and a beautiful time with family, is what this home is about.

New years stay

Some things didn’t work ( coffee maker, kitchen outlets, smaller oven). Everything else was great. Had a pac and play and high chair for the baby. Really could have used an elevator though.

Perfection!

It was a grand home with a huge amount of bedrooms. A perfect layout. Location was wonderful…away from the tourism but close enough to get into it if we wanted to. The house has a fabulous kitchen. Great for large get togethers. We’ll be back!!

Paradise at Last Always Great

I rent this home twice a year. One with family and one with a bunch of old ladies. It is ideal, especially having 2 master bedrooms with baths on lower floor to cut down on stair climbing.

Paradise on the beach!

This was a fantastic place to stay for myself and 2 other families. Plenty of space. Location was amazing...close to grocery stores and restaurants, and being steps from the ocean was great. A few things in the kitchen need updating. The dishwasher was broken: the shelves barely held dishes and the top sprayer was broken off and laying on the floor. The small oven and griddle don't light. A few fun board games and puzzles, but no beach toys...make sure to bring your own buckets and shovels! Overall was a great, relaxing, and fun vacation on the beach.

Perfect Get Away

Great location, it is 1 hour from downtown Houston! It is on one of the best beaches we have been to in Galveston. The house is right on the beach and deck is perfect for hanging out after the long day at the beach. We had 5 couples and we had plenty of space to cook each night and then enjoy the sunsets! The only thing we had a complaint about was that as mentioned in the other reviews they need to replace some light bulbs, but other than that we loved the house and we will be going back for sure.

We have stayed here before. Had a few minor issues-entrance half bath handle stuck a few times. roll down shades rolled down but not up. We have so much fun together all works out and beach walking is awesome!!

Spacious home, gorgeous beach location

The house was perfect for our extended family of 10. 6 adults and 4 cousins age 6-10. Each individual family had plenty of private space and there were 2 separate inside gathering areas to keep everyone comfortable and happy. The beach was an absolute highlight. The outdoor deck and patio areas were perfect. We purchased and/or brought our own beach toys, towels, and beach tent. Some of the furnishings getting a bit worn and though the oven was large, the main oven door didn’t close completely affecting cooking times//temps. Overall, the house and all its amenities met our needs well, helping us create a wonderful family memory of Galveston.

From Barbie Dream House to Roach Motel

This property and location is beautiful. The house has lavishing decor throughout. The views and location were phenomenal. The size was perfect to comfortably accommodate 12-14 guest and still allow everyone to have privacy. The decks, private beach, grill were enjoyable. Our only issues was roaches in the kitchen, living room and eating area. We killed about 8 of them the first night. We contacted the host who had someone come out to treat the home within hours. It is appreciated but the experience had us on edge most of the trip. It was hard to relax. We paid too much money to have to stomp roaches in a million dollar home. The cleaning fee was expensive so I don’t feel we got our money’s worth. There were traps in the pantry so the host knew it was an issue before we arrived. The hot water in the shower of the master suite on the west side of the home didn’t get hot either. That wasn’t as big of a deal as the roaches though.

Feel Secluded But Near EVERYTHING! BEAUTIFUL Home!

Great getaway for myself, Daughter and her friends who will be her Bridesmaids in 12/19...the beach felt secluded and was definitely not crowded at any point during the weekend...and we were only 10-15 minutes from The Strand, great restaurants and attractions. The home is immaculate and the bedrooms are perfectly positioned to give everyone maximum privacy. Amazing kitchen and gathering areas, triple decks with great views! We will definitely return to this property...already tried to secure Thanskgiving week but it's already booked! :(

Great Location!

Great location and the house was very clean. However the house needs to be updated as we had several issues from door handles falling off, satellite not working, clogged sink, broken dishwasher and ice maker, etc. Nothing too bad, but items that should have been handled prior to renting out. I would also strongly recommend a different management company. The lack of urgency from phone calls and the unprofessional behavior of Taylor left a terrible taste in our mouth.

Fun times

Everything was great! The house was beautiful and the floor plan was perfect for entertaining a large group. We would go back in a heartbeat. Only a couple of things I would let people know before coming...there is only 1 towel per person...so if you are like me and like one towel for your head and one for your body...bring extra. Also there is absolutely no spices in the kitchen...I know it is not the responsibility of the house to provide these things but usually there is at least salt and pepper...none of this is a complaint just an FYI to those reading for info to rent this house.
