PARKING
There is a registration fee due to the resort that you must register for online prior to arrival. This covers any necessary parking passes and wristbands. The HOA does charge an additional $10 + tax in the event you wait until check in day to register. 1BRs - $35 + tax


INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach. 


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

The beach

This was probably one of the nicest condos that we have ever stayed in! Very clean and loved the decor. The beach itself was more crowded than we expected - but we were there on July 4 weekend, so that’s probably to be expected. Very nice condo and building. The covered parking was nice as well.

Nice getaway.

The condo was super clean and nice snd had a great view of the beach. Sliding doors are REALLY hard to open so bring a strong person.

Great experience at tidewater! Condo was great! Beaches access was great! Love the property all but the elevators are very slow! Other than that all was good!

Wonderful

Super family friendly. Indoor pool was nice. The only thing I would recommend doing was getting a lower floor because there’s always a wait for an elevator. A long wait. Other than that it was fantastic!

Look at the floor, it seems like it isn't cleaned with a cloth, my children's feet are always dirty, the elevator takes hours to be picked up, that leaves a lot to be desired!!! the apartment is cute

Very nice.

Our property was very nice. The only thing we would have love to have is an extra blanket for the sleeper sofa. Property was clean, nicely decorated, all appliances worked even the ice maker!! I loved having the app with all of our information needed for our stay. Be prepared to show your license to be able to use a luggage cart. Elevators get really busy during weekends. So be patient. We had a great stay and loved our room. Room 909

Beautiful and comfortable

The condo was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. I woud say the biggest problem is the elevator issue. There were a few times we waited 20 minutes. Everywhere you went you heard the same complaints from people. We also found one toilet to be clogged when we got there. After calling twice for maintenance they still hadn't come when we left 5 days later. Even with those two issues I would highly recommend the condo. Beautiful view with nice amenities.

Condo was dirty. Free stuff promised when booking was cancelled after booking.

Several elevators were out of order. The ones working took forever. Pool was not heated as stated. Refrigerator leaked. Pots and pans were slim. Toilets had plastic seats that were covered in years of gunk.

Did not meet expectations

We had to buy supplies to wash floors. Toilet problems, condo needs preventive maintenance. Dishwasher was old and broke so we had to cancel plans for appliance replacement.

Disappointed

The first 3-4 days were great, then the refrigerator started making horrible noises. Long story short maintenance couldn’t fix it so we had to keep plugging and unplugging it. We were told the owner only used one vendor and they weren’t available on the weekend! You should have notes in your file about all the calls Fri, and Sat. The elevators at Tidewater are beyond slow-not your fault. During the week your office staff was fabulous!!!

Stay 7/26 thru 7/30

Upon arriving at Tidewater we went to the front desk to ask for help. I had told the lady working at the front desk I had forgotten to do my preregistration. I believe her name was Chanelle and that may not be the proper spelling of her name. She was very rude, she was also rude with other people checking in. The elevators are horrible!! Had to wait over 30 minutes one night. When I asked the front desk they stated the elevators had been working… although they had a guy sitting on a seat inside the elevators overriding them and making them work with some kind of key. This place needs to do some cleaning up, starting with friendlier staff.

Review

The view is amazing! Elevators are a nightmare we came mid September. Overall unit is clean- Details-Rugs in kitchen and living room need to be cleaned/replaced. They are dingy. Mold/ Water stain on ceiling above Tv. The cable was unplugged (no idea why) so no TV the first day. The condo needs some paint touch ups, molding cracked in master bath. BOTH tubs need a good scrub and they BOTH drain very, very slow. Mattress pad on pull out sofa is dirty and old. (Slept on Sofa instead). Bunk bead room very dark needs brighter light. Only 1 lamp in living room very dim at night & the small lamp on kitchen table does not really help. Track lighting has no dimmer- that would be helpful. Bed linens were clean & fresh, water pressure in master good- shower head in 2nd bath barely works. Bring hangers. Overall it’s just a few items that need attention and upkeep.

The condo couch is in poor shape. It really needs some TLC. The microwave interior is coming off. It really should be replaced! You can not put anything on the refrigerator door because the brackets on the shelf fall off.

Empty Nesters getaway

Our overall stay was great. The elevator system was slow and check in congested. There are a few updates needed (ice maker did not make ice, bar counter brackets/covers broken, and a noticeable previous leak) and could use some baking sheets. Otherwise, the condo was clean and had a gorgeous view.

It was okay

The condo was amazing but the washer and dryer didn’t work the best and the washer was really loud. I called to tell them but no one ever came. The hot tubs outside on both sides, the jets didn’t work. The boards on the board walk to access the beach was really weak and a couple was actually broke! My mother in law almost fell through one.

The individual condo was excellent! This was my first time in FL - & my only "suggestions" - provide a hairdryer and beach chairs / umbrella in the condo. (But this might not be standard amenities for condo rentals) The facilities were ok - nothing fancy - got the job done, need some routine upkeep / maintenance. All of the workers were kind and extremely helpful. We felt safe - great location! I would absolutely recommend the area and the condo!

Overall experience was above average however the condo needs some TLC. Mattress needs replaced as does the washing machine. The fridge leaked and shower heads need choices. The entire deck area didn't get swept or wiped down of bird poop. Having said that the views and beach are what we travel so far for and that never disappoints us!

Beautiful condo on the beach

We enjoyed a relaxing getaway at this beautiful beach condo. The room was clean a tastefully decorated. The view of the gulf was awesome from the balcony. There were several good restaurants nearby that are in walking distance.

Relaxing Getaway

Everything as described. Clean with a great view. We only have 2 complaints....one being the elevator wait time, which you can't do anything about, the 2nd being that the coffee maker was broken. We rigged it to work ok, but it never could work properly. I would recommend a new one. Other than that....everything was wonderful! Thank you.
