Wonderful stay with excellent hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lake Annecy. David and Renée were always on hand if needed for advice or recommendations. The property is well equipped with a lovely kitchen and great pool. The house has wonderful views of the mountains and the cycle path is just behind the house. We hope to stay again soon!

A really excellent house in a fantastic location. The accommodation was perfect for us and included everything we needed for our comfort. And provided us with an incredible view on all sides. It was great to explore Lake Annecy from Dossard which provided a relaxed base for us to plan our adventures. Our host gave really clear info, was on hand for anything we needed and the property was exactly as advertised

Fantastic house

Definitely the best equipped holiday house we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful location, great views over the Lake and 10-15 min walk to the beach and shop. Very clean and tidy and with the owners next door any questions were quickly answered. We were a group of 2 families and it was perfect for us.

Wonderful house

Everything you could want from a holiday covering a wide age range! The house was amazingly well provided with kitchen stuff, the pool was amazing and used by everyone, the location was ideal for cycling, walking, running or just sitting on the patio watching the hang gliders. Things not to miss - Semnoz for the views of Mont Blanc and the luge, a meal at Chalet Pricaz, pedalos on the lake. A memorable holiday in a memorable house. Thanks David and Renée.

A delightful location with a small public lake access around 100m away, just over the road. Perfect for paddle boards, swimming, sunbathing or just enjoying the lake view. House is directly beside the cycle path which we used to cycle to the bakery and other locations around the lake. The downstairs is very modern with an incredibly well equipped kitchen and plenty of space. The pool is a good size and immaculately clean, great for kids or to cool off. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The one bedroom with ensuite shower and sinks (not toilet) is downstairs. Then there is a shower and bath in the bathroom upstairs and one toilet upstairs and one downstairs. House is secure with locked gated access and alarm for the house, as well as plenty of easy parking. David was very accessible and answered questions about the house and local area quickly. The house stays surprisingly cool, considering the heat wave in the high 30s, due to the use of wooden shutters to keep sun from the rooms but we would have liked it if there were enough fans for each room at night (only two fans in the house) - however we didn't ask for any more so more may have been available on request. We would definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity. Thank you David, its a beautiful house by lake Annecy.

A perfect family holiday home

We had a wonderful week staying at this property absolutely no issues. House was very clean and had a superb equipped kitchen. As we were there in very hot weather the only thing we could have done with was more fans in the bedrooms but at least the children had fans. If heatwaves are going to occur more often this would be the only suggestion we would have. Property suited everyone we loved the pool and also the lake which was so close. Also the variety of places to visit in the area was fantastic. David was extremely helpful if we ever needed anything.

Perfect base for exploring Annecy!!

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Annecy as a family/group then look no further! The whole villa is fantastic and the views are stunning. Everything has been thought about here, from the very well stocked kitchen with every utensil you can think of, to the organisation of everything! The pool area is perfect for families and soaking up the sun. 3 or 4 restaurants are within easy walking distance and a bus stop at the bottom of the road takes you into Annecy within 30 mins. The owners really take pride in this property, it was spotlessly clean and so well taken care of. If you read this review and are thinking of booking, please do - you won’t regret it!

Even better than it looks!

We all know that pictures sometimes lie. In this case, the reality is even better than the pictures. This house is amazing. Everything is neat, in proper working condition, clean, and easy to keep clean. The owners have outdoor furniture that allows you to eat every meal outside, which we did. The pool is a great feature for the kids and can be closed in case of bad weather or cool breezes. The views from the grounds are amazing, and it is walking distance to the lake (note: it is not really walking distance to the beaches but it is biking distance to the closest beach). We drove to the beach in Doussard and the beach in Talloires. The bike path is directly behind the house so bring or rent bikes. The market is close by, as is downtown Doussard where there was an outdoor market on certain days. The location of this house is great and allowed us to do many different things including biking, hiking, swimming, and paddle boarding. This house was a little more expensive than some of the other Annecy listings we looked at, but we believe it was well worth the money we spent. We highly recommend this rental property, especially if you have children who love to swim.

This is a beautiful property. Spacious bedrooms kitchen and living areas. Great views of the lake. The pool was amazing and beautifully kept. We liked the proximity of the house to the beach area in that the distance was walkable. Also walkable distance to restaurants and bars. We had great hosts who were very kind and informative. Our host David was very thoughtful and supplied a bike stand when we hired bikes. A great bonus of the property is that the cycle path is directly behind the house so very easy access. The house also has plenty of parking. Great base to explore areas around the lake. Would highly recommend.

Séjour agréable dans un cadre grandiose. Maison très propre et conforme à l'annonce. Il apparait néanmoins surprenant de voir le propriétaire quasi quotidiennement, tondre la pelouse ou encore taper quelques de golf dans le jardin. A ce du tarif, l'intimité devrait être de rigueur.

Wonderful place

Maison fantastique. Très propre. Très bien placée. Idéal pour se reposer mais aussi pour découvrir les environs. Renée et Dave sont aux petits soins et d’une gentillesse rare. On reviendra.

Beautiful house in a beautiful place

We had a fabulous time in Maison du Lac. David and Renee were welcoming hosts and made themselves available without being intrusive. The house was very well equipped with exceptional communal areas on the ground floor. The pool was fantastic and the terrace was where we spent most of our time, relaxing on the sun loungers, dipping in the pool and eating outside. The local restaurants are easily accessible and very good although we preferred preparing food and eating in. We really loved this house and our holiday together. The views of the lake and the parapentes hovering above, framed by the mountains, were all breathtakingly beautiful. We would like to come back.

Très très bonne surprise. Accueil chaleureux de Dave et Renée. La maison est magnifique et spacieuse. Tout est fait pour s"y sentir comme chez soi. Prendre son petit déjeuner dans la véranda avec vue sur le lac, que demander de plus ! Nous avons bien profité de la piscine. Merci encore de nous avoir sauvé ce séjour en famille ! Taha, Jo & Elias

La propriété est très bien située en dehors de la ville le long du lac. Cependant le prix est excessif au regard des équipements mis à disposition et de la propreté générale des lieux.

We are shocked by this remark as we place a great emphasis on cleanliness and this is the first comment we have had of this nature. The clients did not mention anything during their stay and we would like to know in detail any aspects of cleanliness or the equipment provided which were considered not satisfactory.
