サザンリビングマガジンによって「アメリカで最も美しい通り」と名付けられた美しいジョーンズストリートに1875年に建てられた、シカモアキャリッジハウスは、その名の由来となる巨大なシカモアの後ろに隠れています。 1ベッドルームと1浴室のあるこの2階建てのキャリッジハウスは、2人のラッキーゲストに理想的なロマンチックな休暇を過ごすのに理想的です。

Cute place, could be better cleaned under couch and pull out couch

Found clothing, unopened food, and dead bugs under the couch when we went to use the pull out. The pull out was also a bit dirty. Overall awesome staff, TV wasn’t working but they came right out to help. And the place was very cute. Also there was no dishwasher

Pretty Good

Aside from not being able to find any trash bags and only being given 3 towels for two people staying 3 days, it was good. Very small place and have to go up and down the stairs a bunch, but overall a nice stay. The neighbors are all really kind and the location is pretty good too.

Very cute cozy little place. Very quiet location. Easy 15 minute walk to River Street. Would definitely stay here again

Great location

Walking distance to everything. Wonderful breakfast and lunch place just 800 ft away. Spiral staircase was a bit steep and narrow.

Perfect little place!!

After a mix up in finding it, it was all good! There were just two of us and it was perfect. We were able to park and never have to move the car. Location was key, walkable to everything, and we’d definitely stay again!

Property was perfect for what we were looking for! Difficult to find the entrance when trying to check in with vague information. Delayed reponse when calling about parking situation, but overall the place is cute and cozy and in a great location for a weekend getaway!

The house is definitely a little spooky which my boyfriend and I loved. We also loved how it had everything we needed. Even a wine bottle opener! We celebrated our anniversary here and could not ask for a better experience. The shops are within walking distance and it’s a quiet community. It’s also only 3 hours from Gainesville! Definitely coming back.

Hot nights in Savannah

Convenient location. Difficult to navigate steps to bedroom and bathroom. No coffee. No ice trays. Upstairs AC was worthless. Very uncomfortable, hot sleeping. Entry door ws tricky to open and worse to close.

Great location, lots of sights within walking distance, also good availability of on street parking. Kitchen was good for us, just the right amount of utensils and dishes. Carriage House review

The overall stay was great, initially difficult to find the entrance but we got it after wandering around a little. A couple things to note: we couldn’t use the coffee maker the morning we tried since there were no filters, there is not a dishwasher as listed but two fridges, and the bathroom sink isn’t fully attached to the wall-could be a safety issue if someone hangs on it. Overall we had a fun time and our daughter absolutely loved the spiral staircase.

Cute carriage house

Inside was cute bare essentials in the kitchen, lots of clean linen. If you have bad knees, the very small spiral staircase is a tight fit, especially carrying up luggage. The air conditioner was noisy and you need to run the 2 fans, one on each floor. Location is OK, wear sneakers! My daughter and I (68 years old) handled the walks! We had a great time in the historical beautiful city of Savannah.

Honeymoon Hideaway

Steeped in character and so very cozy- this rental was the perfect place for us as newly weds! We did come in expecting laundry and dish washing machines, however, the lack thereof did not impede our delight to stay here for four nights. Walking distance from restaurants and nightlife. We plan to rebook this rental next time we are in our favorite city of Savannah!

Anniversary Trip

Lucky Savannah was very accommodating when we needed to reschedule because of a hurricane in October. The only negatives with the property were that there is no front door mat which caused us to track in a lot of trash from the rain. The other thing was the toilet leaked a small puddle in the front of it.

Love the old brick and the old fireplaces. It was nice to have a mini fridge and microwave. The only negatives were that we couldn't use the fireplaces; the heating/cooling vent/fan was very noisy; and the the pillows were awful. Invest in better pillows! Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and we would rent the carriage house again.
