509 Monterey is an address worth visiting for sure. We have been here several times and it always makes us feel like we should be at the beach. Book that week you’re thinking about and you will be thrilled you visited this amazing property when that time arrives!

The deck and view were wonderful. Walking distance to beach, pier, and town. Very comfortable beds and living spaces. Very nice linens and well appointed kitchen. Internet could be improved. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on staying at this property again.

Very comfy, a place where it would be easy to stay for longer than the 5 nights we enjoyed here. The kitchen, shower and some windows are showing signs of age but for us the overall experience was very nice. We liked the quiet neighbourhood and lack of traffic on the road outside, making this a very peaceful stay. We missed having blackout curtains, as the second bedroom has thin white curtains which do not keep the light out at all in the mornings, and the other bedroom also has the same curtains with the addition of a slatted blind which doesn't keep the light out. But others may not find this a problem.

Fantastic views and amazing outdoor space. Comfortable seating and spaces with views from inside and out. Lorraine is a great host. Information flowed easily and checking and out were easy. The steps up are worth the view and comfortable condo!

Amazing place to stay in San Clemente if you are looking for beautiful views & close to the beach. The condo had everything we needed along with some extras like beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils etc if you want to cook in. Great ideal location to walk the pier, beach trail, or spend time on the beach. We enjoyed the deck and the nightly sunsets. Lorraine was wonderful and quick to respond to make sure we had everything we needed. We will stay here again. Highly recommend. Thank you.

We adored spotting dolphins from the terrace, watching flocks of pelicans every evening and beautiful sunsets. Top location!

Beautiful property with amazing ocean sunsets

This condo is beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and many amenities. The views of the ocean from living room and bedroom are amazing. Check-in was smooth and the condo was impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay!

Will be coming back! View is outstanding, Lorraine was prompt with returning messages, etc. Beds comfortable and plenty of bath towels were appreciated. The only thing that’s recommended at the Castle is more silverware but that’s a simple thing!

we visited several beach areas throughout the years and discovered this quaint beach area. It is a beautiful relaxing beach area with lots of history. Walking distance to Old town Del Mar where you can enjoy shopping and restraunts. When we saw this building and the awesome ocean view we fell in love super close walk to the ocean, fantastic ocean view, 2 minutes walking distance to San Clemente Pier, old town shops on avenida de mar, gourmet restraunts, festivals and activities on the beach throughout the year, surf and swim competitions, farmers market on Sundays, new outlet shopping mall provides for good shopping, walking distance to relaxing beach trail, enjoy walking, running or enjoy a bike ride, lovely to walk your children and your doggie
