We've stayed in the Penthouse at the Castle before and once again we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location is perfect for enjoying the beach and pier and walking to town is an easy 5-10 minute stroll. The pictures don't do justice to the view by the way, we spent so much time on the patio/deck enjoying sunset dinners while gazing at Dana Point in the distance. Lorraine is easy to communicate with and is quick to respond to questions or concerns. We look forward to staying here again, hopefully very soon.

Fabulous location

We adored spotting dolphins from the terrace, watching flocks of pelicans every evening and beautiful sunsets. Top location!

Wonderful San Clemente spot

Our family of 5 loved our stay here! Great views, great beach access and proximity to San Clemente shops and restaurants. The house is cozy and beautiful and had everything we needed. We cooked at home a bunch and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook a meal. Forks were low when we arrived but the host was on top of it and supplied more right away. The rooftop patio was lovely for sitting in the sunshine and listening to and watching the ocean. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit!!!

Perfect vacation condo

My wife and I stayed for 8 days in February and the condo was as magical as it looks in the listing pictures. Very clean, quiet safe area, and easy walking distance to dozens of restaurants and the beach. Beach chairs and umbrella in the garage and coin laundry facility in the building. Lorraine was very responsive on text and this condo is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. I would highly recommend this condo!

Thanksgiving with family

What a beautiful property. We rented with our adult son and had additional family for Thanksgiving. The property was spacious enough for a group. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The charming electric fireplace gave warmth to the living room and the kitchennwas well stocked. The view was amazing, I saw dolphins every day off the cute deck. Restaurants and lots of walking easily accessible. The neighbors were welcoming. All 5 stars!

Amazing Place!

The view is amazing, the place is in great condition, appliances/AC all work great, fully stocked kitchen/cooking items, comfortable couches. My only issue was that the bedroom/bed description is a little inaccurate in the property description. One bedroom had a king bed and the other had a queen bed. There was an inflatable mattress and also a cot to put wherever they could fit. It worked for us though. Also, the internet was very slow, making the streaming channels very choppy. I believe that anyone will ignore these issues compared to how amazing everything else is.

Great stay!

Will be coming back! View is outstanding, Lorraine was prompt with returning messages, etc. Beds comfortable and plenty of bath towels were appreciated. The only thing that’s recommended at the Castle is more silverware but that’s a simple thing!

Slice of Heaven by the Shore

This condo had it all! The view. The location. A well stocked kitchen and baths. It was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. The host was on top of everything and easy to reach if we had questions. We are a family of 5 from the Midwest who traveled to San Clemente so our kids could attend surf camp. The location was absolutely perfect. We could hear the calming sound of the ocean from our rooftop patio. We could walk to the beach every morning. We hardly ever used our rental car, but it was nice to have off-street parking at our unit so we didn't have to worry about parking. We fell in love with the condo and the city of San Clemente. If we are lucky enough to come back, I would stay here again and again and again.

Vacation

We had a great stay at the Castle! It was close to everything this charming beachside town had to offer. The unit itself was incredibly clean and well maintained. Lorraine checked on us often and made sure that we had everything we needed. Also, if traveling with a group, I highly recommend renting multiple units in this building. We did that completely coincidentally and it worked out perfectly. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Gigantische Aussicht in betagter Penthousewohnung

Sehr guter Aufenthalt, die Wohnung hat leider großteils einen in die Jahre gekommenen Teppich, was uns aus hygienischen Gründen prinzipiell nicht so gut gefällt. Eventuell müsste hier sowie die Bäder renoviert werden. Der Host war super, sie hat sofort reagiert bei Problemen und war sehr hilfsbereit! Gigantisch - und das überstrahlt alles - ist die Aussicht von der kleinen Dachterrasse und vom Wohnzimmer auf den schier endlosen Pazifik.

Fantastic stay in San Clemente

Our visit was to celebrate a 30th Wedding Anniversary. We loved San Clemente and the condo was fantastic, really clean and well decorated with amazing views looking out to the ocean and the pier. Lorraine communicated everything beforehand and we had a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

5 night stay San Clemente

Lovely home with a spectacular view! We loved the deck where you can hear and see waves crashing on the shore. We also loved being able to open the windows to feel the breeze, hear the waves and see the beautiful view from inside. Yes, there are a lot of steps, but totally worth it; just plan accordingly for carrying up luggage and groceries. Located close to the pier and there are lots of great places within walking and closeby driving distances. We had a great time; thank you!

GREAT view, nice location

Enjoyed being close to beach and main strip (Restaurants, boutiques). I chose the Penthouse for the view and roomy balcony, but there are a lot of stairs to the rental. This could be difficult for some people.

San Clemente Beach

Wonderful view of the ocean, easy short walk to the beach and San Clemente pier. Great location for attractions in the area. Property is on the third floor, access only by stairs. Property manager was superb with guidance and answers to any questions we had.

Beautiful getaway

The property is in a stunning location with rooftop views that are unmatched. The unit has everything you could need to enjoy time with your family and just a short walk to the beach in San Clemente. Host was great and available at any time. Would definately love to return!

Amazing sunsets! Lorraine is very helpful!

Lorraine was wonderful, helped us find good restaurants and with transportation. The condo is great! Only thing we had a problem with was the stairs going to the condo. Kind of steep for our old bodies. Beautiful view from the large living room windows! Patio is great :-)

we visited several beach areas throughout the years and discovered this quaint beach area. It is a beautiful relaxing beach area with lots of history. Walking distance to Old town Del Mar where you can enjoy shopping and restraunts. When we saw this building and the awesome ocean view we fell in love super close walk to the ocean, fantastic ocean view, 2 minutes walking distance to San Clemente Pier, old town shops on avenida de mar, gourmet restraunts, festivals and activities on the beach throughout the year, surf and swim competitions, farmers market on Sundays, new outlet shopping mall provides for good shopping, walking distance to relaxing beach trail, enjoy walking, running or enjoy a bike ride, lovely to walk your children and your doggie
