Wonderful apartment near the Vatican

We had a great time at this location. Unfortunately it was a couple of miles away from the heart of Rome. It was in a nice, upscale neighborhood with everything we needed. We just had to walk 1/2 a mile to a super busy bus stop, or take a rideshare when we wanted to gi somewhere. The apartment had everything we needed and was huge in Italian standards. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted some extra space.

Große, gut ausgestattete Wohnung in schöner und zentrumsnaher Lage

Wir haben als Familie mit drei Kindern vier Tage in dieser Wohnung verbracht, um Rom kennen zu lernen. Die Wohnung ist groß, sodass man auch mit 5 Personen gut darin Urlaub machen kann. Der Vermieter hat uns einen Flughafentransfer organisiert und Marco stand schon bereit, um uns die Wohnung zu zeigen und die wichtigsten Infos zu geben. Er hatte auch viele Tipps für uns: von Restaurants, über Cafés, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Shopping etc. Sowohl Marco als auch der Vermieter wären jederzeit für uns erreichbar gewesen. Es war alles sehr sauber und für uns hergerichtet, sogar einige Snacks und Frühstück für den ersten Morgen standen für uns bereit. Die Lage der Wohnung empfanden wir als sehr angenehm. Nur wenige Meter von der Wohnung entfernt gibt es in der Via delle Fornaci einige Restaurants, Cafés, einen Supermarkt etc., sodass man für die alltäglichen Besorgungen sehr gut ohne Auto oder Bus etc. erledigen kann. Auf den Petersplatz gelangt man zu Fuß in 10 Min. und von dort aus kommt man über die Engelsbrücke schnell zu all den anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir können die Wohnung empfehlen und würden sie für einen Besuch in Rom wieder buchen.

Excellent

Propriétaire très réactif, qui a tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour. Apparemment lumineux et vaste, très bien situé pour visiter la ville ou pour faire ses courses (un supermarché Carrefour à 5 mn à pied), plutôt calme pour Rome, doté d’une bonne literie. Il pourrait y avoir un peu plus de vaisselle, mais c’est vraiment un détail… Bref, à recommander !

Schöne Wohnung, gute Lage

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Rom. Die Wohnung ist schön und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kann zu Fuß zum Petersdom und in 6 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof S.Pietro.

Fabulous place May 3-10, 2019

My husband, and 11 year old daughter stayed here May 3-10 during a chilly week in Rome. Giovanni answered all my questions very quickly and put me in contact with Licia. Licia had a cab come and pick us up at the airport, I will say this after a long flight no one wants to try and give directions to an apartment. It much more relaxing and enjoyable to sit back and take in the sights. We were met by Licia who went over everything in the apartment, showed us maps, answered our questions on buses. She had left a few snacks for us which was perfect. Licia was also prompt at returning my silly questions on how to use the washing machine. We never figured out how to watch the tv but honestly way too tired, it’s quite a large new tv as well. Beds were comfortable and we are used to a king so this was pretty good. Our daughter had a lovely quiet room with 2 singles. Lots of places for your clothes so you could unpack and put away the suitcases. As well a big pet peeve of mine is clutter and stuff lining the shelves. This place was tidy free of mess which let you put all your stuff! Their is excellent wifi which we used at night to research our next days itinerary. The second bathroom which has the washroom was used by all 3 of us and was very convenient to have. One of the best stocked kitchens, make your own espresso, all utensils from a cheese grater to real sharp knives for cutting bread. Their is an entrance to the street where a cab would drop you off or you can go down 57 steps down to Via delle Fornaci. On that street go to Spoon Gelateria was the best we had all week and it was a daily tasting. As well a little farther north at 28 is a new cafe just renovated awning says Max Bar was very good the owner especially nice. Their is also a train station which we walked to in 15 minutes with silly large suitcases Roma S. Pietro cost €1 to get to Termini Station. After long days walking about 22km/ day it was nice to come back here to make a simple dinner or relax. O yes grocery store which was well equipped on Via del Fornaci down the stairs turn left up 100 meters on the right side, across from Devine Pizza totally awesome.

Well maintained property very close to the Vatican

Nice place for a family of four, especially if interested in spending good amount of time at the Vatican. Good grocery and other small shops for food or pharmacy needs -- found them to be very conveniently located. The second bathroom is small and becomes even smaller with the washing machine located in there; however, it was usable in a pinch. Mrs Licia was very helpful and gave us good advice when needed.

Agréable séjour dans un quartier calme et proche du Vatican. L'appartement de Giovanni est superbe, idéal pour 4 adultes, confortable et bien équipé. Le bus 64 tout proche vous amène dans le centre de Rome en quelques minutes, si non à pied accessible. Lucia nous réserve un accueil chaleureux et riche en informations. Merci. Isabelle and Co.

A wonderful and convenient located place to stay!

The apartment is very cozy and just right for three people since it only has one bathroom. Technically speaking it does have another toilet next to the dinning area but it is so small that it is very difficult to use. The manager, Licia, is very helpful by telling us what is all available around us and how to get around. She also prepared fruits, cookies, and other snacks for our stay. We enjoyed the stay very much and loved the place.

Wonderful, quiet, comfortable and central

We had a perfect stay at the Maistos’ apartment. Giovanni and his wife, Signira Licia and her husband, could not have been more friendly and helpful, from arranging airport transportation to neighborhood restaurant recommendations to sightseeing ideas. The apartment is beautiful, well laid out, meticulously cleaned, and supremely comfortable for our family of four. The rear entrance to the building leads to steps down to Via della Formaci, with the convenient 64 bus, a fantastic pizzeria, and a Carrefour supermarket all five minutes’ walk from the flat. We had a perfect stay.

Inoubliable

Merveilleux séjour dans la capitale romaine. L'appartement est idéalement placé, très bien équipé, proximité des transports, parking très simple dans la rue, commerce ouvert 24h/24h à 200m. Un accueil chaleureux de Lydia et en plus dans un Français remarquable et rassurant pour nous ne parlant pas du tout la langue. Nous n'hésiterons pas à conseiller cet appartement autour de nous et reviendrons surement pour notre prochain séjour à Rome. Magnifique capitale européenne à sillonner à pieds Séjour parfait pour nous.

MAGNIFICO APARTAMENTE E INMEJORABLE SITUACION

Ha sido una experiencia magnífica. Está en una situación perfecta para visitar el Vaticano y para iniciar desde alli todas las rutas de la Roma histórica. Nosotros siempre nos hemos movido andando y pocas veces hemos hecho uso del taxi. El recibimiento y el trato han sido estupendos. Está en un lugar sin ruidos, algo muy importante para nosotros. Su equipamiento de menage de hogar te hacen sintirte en tu porpia casa. La cocina amplia y bien equipada, aunque se hecha en falta el "microondas". Volveremos. Grazzie di tuto.

L'appartement est fidèle à notre attente. A deux pas de la Basilic Saint-Pierre. Grands espaces et sans bruit de circulation. Accueil parfait et soigné. Licia nous a donné beaucoup de renseignements utiles sur Rome. La possibilité de transport à l'arrivée est très pratique (60 €). Nous avons tout visité à pieds, sans problème, en passant par le pont piéton face au château saint-Angelo. Pour les moins courageux le bus 64 vous dépose au centre ville.

Ruhiges, großzügiges Appartment in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und ein toller Ausgangspunkt für einen Rombesuch, der Petersdom ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar. Sie bietet viel Platz, zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Essen gehen, ein Supermarkt der 24h offen hat und - wer das möchte - ein Pizzaservice um die Ecke, der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Betreuung durch Licia war sehr freundlich und hilfreich, wir waren mit unserer Tochter da und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!
