Redone Luxury Waterfront at The Point w/ Heated Pool, Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Game Rm

One in a Million is a recently renovated 6,000+ square foot vacation home. Located at The Point of Emerald Isle, it offers private, panoramic views of the ocean and sound and a two-minute walk to one of the most coveted parts of the beach on the island. Western-most end of the island providing the amazing sunsets to view from the gazebo swing and all rooms of the house with a nice glass of wine or cocktail to relax and enjoy your evening.

This home features a total of:
- Four master suites with King beds, private bathrooms and porches with views of the water
- Two suites with private bathrooms and 2 bunks each (two twins and two full beds)
- Two full kitchens equipped with: two dishwashers, two microwaves, two ovens, two full-size refrigerator/freezers, and all of the pots, pans, appliances, and dishware you will need for 16+ people
- Eight brand new Samsung Smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a Sonos Sound System with Bluetooth connection throughout the interior and exterior of the house
- Outside: Heated Private pool, hot tub, gas grill, fire pit with built-in seating, large dock with a boat lift and fish sink area, private "beach" area for kayak launch, and plenty of places to sit or play outdoor games

Our first floor is set up as a mother-in-law suite and game-room, with a private entrance to the front, back and garages. The game room area features shuffleboard, foosball, poker table, pool/ping pong table and gaming table, Samsung Smart TV and Sonos Sound System. In addition, one full kitchen as described above and a private Master Suite with full bathroom.

The second floor features the main kitchen, large living room, dining table, laundry room, the main Master bedroom suite, screened-in porch and large open-air porch with panoramic water views, a hot tub and a swing.

On our third floor, you will find a loft equipped with a desk, table, monitor and couch to soak in the incredible backyard views of the water. In addition, the third floor is where you will find the other two King suites (with private porches and swings) and two bunk rooms (all with private bathrooms).

In addition to everything mentioned above, there is an indoor gas-log fireplace; ice maker; large washer and dryer, outdoor shower, tons of Adirondack and pool chairs, an outdoor closet with pool floats and toys, and a single-car garage also stocked with kayaks, beach bikes, beach chairs, life jackets, coolers, beach toys, etc.

Everyone enjoyed our stay, including the grandkids. They enjoyed fishing from the dock and swimming in the pool. Nice location and beautiful views from the back deck.

The most beautiful view

The location was beautiful. Fishing off pier kept part of the group enthralled all week.We kyaked to the point and walked for miles on the quietest, most peaceful part of Emerald Isle.

Absolute perfection! Every glowing review I read was spot on. We kayaked, we fished, we dug up clams. The house itself was great but the location and views were just incredible. The beach was quiet, the water warm and clear and it was so much fun finding all the pretty shells with the kids. An understated aspect to our stay was just how friendly everyone in EI was. The pace was slower and the people so nice that everyone, even our kids commented on it.

Stunning home and view

This property was truly amazing, and Marty was an absolute pleasure to deal with. First, he promptly sent me a detailed PDF with information about check-in, restaurant options, places to visit, and the check-out process, which made our stay incredibly smooth. Second, the views were absolutely breathtaking, and we had the privilege of witnessing some incredible sunsets.We did have a few questions when we first arrived, but Marty promptly called me back to answer them. After that, it was nothing but relaxation and enjoyment of the pool, local restaurants, and the stunning sunsets!

This property is spectacular! Great amenities (Pool, Hot Tub, high-end appliances etc.). Each of the 6 bedrooms has its own bathroom which was REALLY great for our family vacation. Great communication with the property owners. A+++

Incredible location

We visited in August with extended family, aged 10 to 70 and the house accommodated everyone and their varying interests very well. The house is well appointed, everything works, and the owner and property manager are very responsive. The location is amazing, and the outdoor areas set up very nice. It’s a hike to the ocean, but the bikes and carts at the house really help. Great House!

Great Family Vacation

We had a great time at this location. The house was beautiful, great accomadations, easy access to beach. We loved using the kayaks and just lazing around at the pool. My favorite place was the swing on the deck. It was very peaceful and the view was incredible. Everything was perfect. Hopefully we can stay again next year.

Relaxing

Setting was very relaxing. All age groups enjoyed activities on premises. My son-in-law taught younger generation to fish off the deck and managed to catch some fish. Well-equipped kitchen for the cooks in my family.

Amazing Home

Our week was wonderful. One in a Million certainly lived up to its name. The location on Emerald Isle is perfect. So much room and beautifully decorated. The fishing, kayaks, bikes and beach chairs were all great. Met the property manager, Drew (great guy). He grew up near our hometown. Our best family beach vacation ever!!Thank you. !

Family Fun

Our family, ages 71 to 2 had a wonderful time! The porches and outdoor spaces allowed us to take in the amazing views at One in a Million. We spent most of our days outside enjoying the pool, kayaks and exploring the shoreline. The property felt very private, but restaurants and stores were a short drive away. The kitchens had everything we needed and everyone slept well in the comfortable beds. We'd love to rent again in the future.

A slice of heaven

This is one of the most beautiful properties we have stayed at. The panoramic views were better than expected. The short walk to the point was another treat. Except for the 1st floor AC malfunctioning for half the week affecting the cooling of all of 2nd floor and main floor master bedroom, we fully enjoyed our blended family getaway.

Best house ever!

Thanks for an amazing week in your beautiful home. Eight adults and seven grandchildren were so comfortable in your home. Loved the balconies and swings, screened in porch, and the beautiful views from every window and outdoor space. Even the dolphins came for a visit in the sound. We used the bikes, beach chairs and kayaks. We experienced the best of a beach and a lake! Beach was private and walkable from the house. Nightly excursions for ghost crabs and hermit crabs were great fun. Pool and hot tub were a hit. Kids were fishing everyday from the dock. All the spaces in the house allowed us to have a craft table, game table, and watercolor table. Nightly ping pong games were a must. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to work with. Thank you so much! Did not want to leave. (I think I was the last one to pack up my suitcase!)

We’ll be back!

The Pointe has everything you need for an amazing stay. Marty (owner) and Drew (property manager) were quick to respond to our needs. We went in late March so the heated pool was key and enjoyed by all. The sunset viewing from the back deck was amazing! We utilized the beach cruisers every day and when one had a flat Drew was there within an hour to fix it. I would absolutely recommend The Pointe and would stay there any time of year. We will definitely be returning!

The Emerald on E-Isle

Exactly as advertised. Exceptional house, landscape, amenities. We expected a great facility upon viewing the advertised picture and descriptions. But sometimes pictures can be deceiving , but not in this case. It truly exceeded the families expectations it to many ways to enumerate. We had 1 issue during the stay but the property manager and owners were amazingly easy to contact and responded immediately. You will not go wrong in choosing this unit, and it will provide a lifetime of memories for your family.

Fantastic Property for Family Vacation!!!

Our family - ranging in age from 18 months to 89 yrs old - could not have enjoyed our week any more. We have vacationed on pretty much the entire North Carolina coast --- this was, by far, the best location and vacation yet. The house is fantastic with everything you need and plenty of room to spread out. The location provides so much to do: swimming in the pool, fishing, boating, jumping off the dock, paddle board, kayaks, biking, floating out to the island and the sand bars, heading over the beach and ocean --- AWESOME. The views are stunning - the sunsets even better. Mr. Baum was a pleasure to work with and obviously takes great pride in keeping his piece of paradise in great condition for many to enjoy. We WILL be back next year. The only problem we had the entire week... was leaving. Marty - thanks for allowing us to disappear from it all at your home for a week!!! Dan C - Raleigh, NC

The name fits! Truly "One in a million"!

My entire family spent an incredible week here last year! It was the best vacation I can remember in a long time! The owners were incredibly easy to work with and the house was perfect (and comfortable) to accomodate all of our 16 person crowd. The house is super spacious and very clean. The kids had a great time fishing off the dock and swimming in the pool. We brought our boat and kayaks and had great fun on them as well. The lift was also very helpful for loading and unloading the boat. The beach is just a short walk/golf cart ride away and the beach was amazing! Soft white sand and LOTS of it. I would come back every year if we could get together that often. We will most certainly be back! There is much to do on the island but you can spend a whole week not leaving the house and have plenty to do!! By the way, the sunsets are the best I've ever seen from the back porch swing! It doesn't get much better.

This was our 18th time vacationing in Emerald Isle, but our first time in One In A Million. Everyone in our party said the same thing as they came into the house: "Oh my god. Oh My God!" We've stayed a lot of places, and this was the nicest, best appointed, best view house on the island. Being near the inlet was wonderful, and we were visited by a pod of porpoises early one morning. Being able to choose from ocean, sound, or pool was fabulous. We watched a thunderstorm move across the inlet from Jacksonville, marveled at the noisy birds in the martin house, and loves seeing the fishermen headed out to sea each morning. Our group was 11 members from 3 generations of our family, and everyone enjoyed their accommodations. The kitchen was as well fitted out as our home, and the porch, gazebo, decks, and dock made for lots of places to play, read, relax, and be together. One great house!

Best view in Emerald Isle

The house was fantastic. My family has been coming to EI for 37 years. They would normally stay in a condo, but the last few years we have been trying houses. This one was the nicest we have stayed at. Everything is upper end, not the typical rental stuff. I was worried we would miss the sound and view of the ocean as we normally stay right on the ocean. We quickly realized we enjoyed this view even more. With three little kids and grandparents along on the trip, the location pushed us into getting a beach permit for the truck. We found doing it this way was even better that dragging all the beach stuff down from an ocean side house. The view from the top floor sitting area is just incredible, I could sit there all day. It is the amenities that take it over the top. It was so nice to have the kayaks, bikes, all the beach stuff. I only had to speak to the property manager once. I sent him a text and he called me instantly. I could not be happier with him or the owners. Everything went as smooth as could be.
