Awesome location

We had a great stay! I will say, furnishings are a little dated and not an over abundance of things such as blankets (we ended up buying one for the pull out sofa), BUT, the building itself was excellent, the location was perfect, and the pool was just the very best. A spectacular family vacation!

Enjoyed the stay

Clean, quiet, spacious condo with everything we needed in the unit. Beautiful ocean view and wonderful beach that was easy to access. Liked it so much we’ve booked another stay later this year.

The host was responsive to pre-stay questions and sent all the relevant local contact information in advance of our stay. The property manager provided needed information for our late arrival so that we could head straight to the unit upon our arrival past office hours. The location is wonderful, with gated access to a beautiful sandy beach that stretches for miles. Both Publix and Walmart are within a short 5-10 minute walk to stock up on supplies, and the Hollywood Beach broadwalk is about a half hour walk to the north. The Holly-go shuttle stops just down the road and is free if you're lucky enough to catch it. The pools are well-maintained and there were always available chairs and loungers. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions. Laundry facilities were right on the same floor near the elevators. The fitness room was somewhat lacking in equipment, but wasn't bad for a couple quick workouts while on vacation. The unit itself was clean and functional, but could use some updates. There were adequate dishes for cooking. We did end up purchasing out own dish towels as only one skinny roll of paper towels was there. I bought more and left an almost full roll behind. We did buy additional toilet paper as well as 2 small rolls weren't adequate for a week's stay. Towels were adequate, mismatched, but serviceable. Bedsheets were okay and the bed was comfy. Beach chairs provided. Note that balcony doesn't get sun in late December at all! Nice view.

Condo is definitely out dated, several things need updated including dining table and tvs and kitchen. Beautiful view. To get in had to meet with the guy who manages it and i walked up to him and his wife when i got there and said his name and got ignored so then i called when he walked out the door and he came back in. Beach is very touristy and lots of garbage

Great base

The apartment is spacious and has a lovely new countertop and sink in the kitchen. Lots of thoughtful touches - beach chairs, cooler box - in the closet. The sea view and chairs on the balcony were a great feature.The towels and sheets do need updating and there are limited cutlery and cooking utensils.I didn’t quite understand the electric door lock at first and I’m glad Marcello showed up early the next morning to explain and hand over the manual key. The Tides is a lovely facility although we were visiting at a quieter time of year. Everyone we met was very friendly - guests and staff. J

Spacious room with a great view. Only negative was parking for 2 nights was $75 and the rental key was an additional $30.

Hollywood Stay

My experience was a walk in the park. Everyone was polite, helpful and very professional. Customer was a 10/10! The condo was clean. Check-in was a beeeze. Recommendations are 10/10. The host was awesome!

Good location for a S. Florida starting point.

My main concern was that the check-in time was listed as 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Our flight to FLL was scheduled to land at 4:05 pm. Good communications with the owner calmed my worries about a flight delay causing cneck-in problems. The property manager contacted me before the trip to give some instructions which were very detailed. I called him when it turned out that we would be delayed and he set it up so we could get in and do the official check-in the next morning. It was a non event.The property is very nice with a nice pool area and nice beach. I would stay there again.

We loved the unit we stayed in. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. We were not happy with the overall noise from other people staying at the Tides. The car noise is pretty loud.

Nelson’s place

Lovely place!!! Perfect location for us. Place has awesome view of ocean. Nelson, management team, and the Tides management all very responsive and caring in all respects. Walmart grocery store convenient and within walking distance and new Publix grocery store opening soon. Boardwalk easy to get to turn right on Iris Terrace, go one block turn left and keep walking and tons of restaurants there! Great way to get your daily steps in!!!

Nice place

Very clean. Enjoyed the balcony for reading. A few things missing in the kitchen like spatula, kitchen cloths, garbage bags, etc. Nice beach. Pool was not heated for many days but overall we had a very nice vacation. Great for two.

Perfect level for the sea breeze

We enjoyed our stay! Check in was complicated; if you don't get there before 5:00 pm, you can't do a normal check in and have to come down the next morning and stand in line. The condo was nice, basic cleaning was great, it needs some deep cleaning (vents, etc) and the sheets need to be replaced. But the location was perfect, and being on the 12th floor with a balcony kept it very cool and breezy. Easy beach access was a plus.
