Great location with views right down the harbour and towards the Hutt Valley. A studio with character, my only regret is that the weather wasn't conducive to sitting out on the seat outside. Parking not an issue (unlike in town!) Hosts were very responsive but discreet. If you are a walker, go back down 50m to the track that takes you up to the wind turbine - only a 30min walk.

A peaceful retreat with beautiful bush walks a few metres away. Generous and warm hosts and a very clean premises. The photos of the place are a true representation of the surroundings. Thoroughly recommended.

Enjoyed our stay. Pauline was very welcoming. Accommodation was comfortable and being able to park near the property was a great bonus in Wellington. Views are amazing. Would definitely return.

Cutie studio unit

Easy to get into town once you get down the hill. Shops a car ride away.Great view from studio, unit compact but everything provided. Slight musty smell when unit closed up.

Lovely cosy cottage with a beautiful view

We stayed for two nights. Julie was lovely, very informative and kept in touch to make sure all went well before and during our booking. We didn’t meet Pauline. The bed was very comfortable for us and the facilities good. Driving down the hill is interesting for those of us who are used to straighter roads.

Studio Apartment in Brooklyn, Wellington

The cosy studio apartment in Greater Wellington is an ideal place for a holiday break in the city. It is close to the local bus route into the CBD and has views looking across the harbour. Julie and Pauline are superb hosts, and you are made to feel very welcome upon your arrival. The apartment is very well appointed and is really comfortable. There is also literature on the main city attractions. For anyone visiting Greater Wellington, this makes a perfect place as a base to explore the many districts of the city. I would recommend this apartment to any traveller visiting the city.

Perfect stay

Felt like home

Hilltop Heaven

The unit is extremely clean and cosy, the bed is super comfortable, and the shower pressure is fabulous. The view is magnificent and the road quiet. It borders the nature reserve so you can hear the birds. It is a climb up the hill - but where isn't a climb in Wellington city - and the height gives you the view and a sense of being up and out of the city stress. There is also a bus route not far away and it was only $20 taxi from Cambridge Tce in the city. The parking is directly outside the unit and was very safe with not a lot of car or foot traffic. I will definitely book again if I need to stay in Welington city.

Friendly hosts

The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful and very close to downtown Wellington activities. The only drawback is that to get to the property, you have to drive up very windy and narrow streets to the top of a hill.

Brooklyn is one of the coolest suburb of Wellington. The panoramic view is so captivating that we bought the land and built a home on it. We love the quiet neighbourhood , the reserve is just at our back door and the closeness to the city. Wellington is dubbed the "The coolest little capital in the world" by Lonely Planet. It merges big city culture with small town charm. It is celebrated as New Zealand’s arts, film, coffee, culinary, craft beer, events and political capital.

この宿泊施設の特徴

From the bay window, you can relax and enjoy the lavender bush and stunning view of the Wellington Harbour. Plenty of free on-street parking is available. The bus stop is just 7 minutes (500m) walk away and the buses to the city operate 7 days a week. A 25 minute walk to the city through the Central Park is invigorating. The Waimapihi Reserve and the wind turbine just at our back door. It is just 1 minute (68m) walk to the entrance. A less than 5 minutes’ drive to enjoy either eat-your-heart-out at the best eateries in town, a movie at the Penthouse Cinema, a game of tennis at the Renouf Golf Centre or for a game of out-of-this-world mini golf at Calucci Land, a unique Wellington landmark with remarkable artworks.
