The Coast is Clear - South Coast delight

This recently renovated one bedroom apartment is a seven minute walk up the hill from the beautiful south coast and Owhiro Bay beach, and a three minute drive from Red Rocks and Island Bay village. Or enjoy popular cafe The Beach House Kiosk just along the Esplanade, an eight minute walk away.

The apartment has its own entrance, full kitchen facilities, new kitchen & bathroom, wifi, TV (includes Netflix, Vodafone TV). Parking is across the road in a quiet cul-de-sac.
Tastefully decorated with breakfast bar, new kitchen and Nespresso coffee. Coffee, tea, milk/sugar provided. Comfortable separate lounge with a fold down sofa that would suit a child/extra adult. Flat is part of our home and income but with separate access and facilities. Close to southern walkway for great views and good bus connections to the CBD.

8km from CBD with easy drive up Happy Valley Road via Brooklyn. Bus stop 2mins away for #29/39 to CBD, or 10mins to Island Bay Parade for #1/32 buses. Great access for walks along the wonderful South Coast.

Had a lovely stay here. The kitchen facilities were great and we appreciated the coffee machine. Shower had brilliant pressure. Having a washing machine was a bonus as was access to Netflix.

Perfect location to get into the city. Everything in this little apartment was in order, down to the little washing machine, and iron and iron board. Nothing was missed in details of comfort. Warm and comfortable. Thanks for making our stay so easy. Five stars, highly recommended.

Great accommodation

This place was nicely decorated and presented. Even though we had the sofa bed set up in the lounge are the wholevtime, there was plenty of room to move. Easly location to adventure around Wellington.

Perfect stay in Island Bay

Absolutely first class, which had everything that we needed for a 5 week stay. Lovely family, non intrusive but available if required. Very close to the beautiful Island Bay coast. Very highly recommended.

Large, well equipped and comfortable

Very good stay for three days at this place. A bit distant from the center however in an nice, very quiet neighborhood and the flat is recent, large and comfortable. Easy access and good communication with owners.

The Coast Is Clear

I had two enjoyable days at the apartment in Island Bay Wellington. The accommodation is furnished to a high standard, and the facilities are excellent and comfortable. For anyone wishing to visit Greater Wellington and its many bays, then this is an ideal location as a base.

A week in Wellington

Our week was great. Wellington means lots of steps.A couple of drawbacks- the large bed right against the wall made it difficult to get in and out of . The kitchen, while bright and modern looking had very little room to store groceries or to use the lovely equipment. Minor negatives…Our hosts were readily available if we had needed anything.

Our Island Bay Wellington stay

Absolutely fantastic hosts nothing a problem. Clean well kept space reasonably quiet and easy to find. Everything we wanted on our 2 week stay was available for us.

Spacious, warm and quiet

Separate lounge and bedroom. Bed is beside wall. Separate toilet and bathroom. Good kitchen. Parking is off site but only 100m away. Very comfortable place to stay. Nice quiet location

Wonderful

The apartment is even more spacious than it looks in the pictures. The bed and other furniture are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking. Having a washing machine in the unit is convenient. It’s a great place to stay, whether you are in town for a short visit or an extended time. And the hosts are wonderful, going above and beyond any expectations and even helping me with a flat tire.

Excellent in every way

We stayed at this delightful apartment for 16 days. It had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring Wellington, with easy acces to local buses. Strongly recommended.

excellent and enjoyable stay

such a lovely place to stay over the 5 days I was there. Of course you need a car as it is in the outer suburbs, but that was no problem. Friendly and kind hosts and I would recommend this wonderful and comfortable Airbnb to anyone who is looking for an affordable, warm location in Wellington

Absolutely perfect

Stayed here with my partner and sister - we loved this awesome place. Great location, excellent communication from the hosts and a nice, quiet, peaceful place to sleep after a busy day sight-seeing. Very cozy, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely book again if in Wellington. We loved the coffee pod and chocolate treats! :)
