Family trip

Great neighborhood away from crowds but still plenty of great food and shopping. The house is beautiful (but it is older). The host responded rapidly to all messages. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the beach down the street every night.

Christmas in Bucerias

This house was great for our family to be all together for Christmas. The location was perfect for exploring the town, close to the beach and near excellent restaurants.

Great stay

We very much enjoyed our stay! It was such a nice holiday for the 10 of us. The house very close to the beach and restaurants . Pilar was always always prompt to reply to questions we had.

Great Pool and Outdoor Gathering Soae

This house is great for family gatherings. Lots of outdoor space and the pool was maintained daily. The pool is fantastic. The kitchen is adequate. It was great to have a washer and dryer! The location is close to everything in Bucerius. Pilar, the host, is very responsive to inquiries and questions.

The house and pool are beatiful with a perfect location

Everything worked well. The internet was on and off, but this could be due to the service provider. Gardener and pool service was done daily. Grill needs to be cleaned.

Amazing Stay at Casa Bonita Nov 2021

This was a perfect location for multiple generations family reunion. The pool and backyard is as beautiful as in the pictures. The home was spacious and well appointed. The host was attentive to our every need and communicated regularly and easily. Everything we needed was at our fingertip. Extra bonus was Villa Cocoa coffee and pastry shop next door. We will definitely come back to this casa bonita!

Un fracaso total

Nunca contestaban los mensajes después de hospedarnos el agua caliente no salía rápido y se terminaba igual. Nunca nos limpiaron la casa estuvimos 4 días la arquitectura de la casa no es mala pero no es verdad todos los servicios que dice que tienen y tampoco dice el anunció que la cochera solo es para un coche La verdad pésima desicion jamás volveré a rentar la propiedad

5 star family beach house, Highly recommended

The houses Location is perfect just 1 minute walk from the beach, restaurants and bars. The Pool was more than perfect for my 3 kids under 10 , comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and great backyard.

A Slice of Paradise

This house is amazing, very clean, quiet, with a good sized pool, very close to the beach and excellent restaurants. We would love to come back and recommend staying there to anyone. Pilar and her helpers were most kind.

Awesome pool! Beach a few steps away!

The house is great. It has lots of space in common areas and the pool is huge. Great for adults and kids. The beach is literally 2 min walking distance, so location is incredible. If you don't have a beach chair, you can rent there. A few worn out details with the house, but nothing alarming or terrible. I will soon be back.

Beautiful house, great location and it has everything you will need for a great vacation.

The pictures do no justice to the beauty of this house. It was so comfortable for me and my whole family. The pool and barbecue are were so convenient for those days we just wanted to stay in. The kitten is fully equipped for any meal and has plenty of space. The house is less than 5min walk from the beach and 5min drive from groceries. There are many food places and cute coffee shops. Paulina was great help the 3 times a week with cleaning the house. We will definitely come back to this house.

Beautiful location and house

Our extended family just enjoyed spending Christmas week at this beautiful house in Bucerias. We loved the location in the small town with a short walk to shops, a quick drive to the supermarket and best of all: one block to a clean and mostly empty beach. The small children loved both the daily beach trips and the backyard pool swims. We loved the beauty and serenity of the house and neighborhood.

Great lodging in Bucerias

We really enjoyed our stay. The Villa is close to many great restaurants, and the private pool was wonderful. Our host was gracious and 'Nardo kept the pool and yard in pristine condition throughout our stay.

Bucerias June 2019

We had a great time at the property, just as listed and everything we expected. I am glad to of met Pilar and get to know the beautiful home. Plenty of room for the entire family, the pool is great, we spent alot of time in the pool. All bedroom had A/C which is great. Will definitely return to Bucerias. Oh forgot to mention just a block from the beach which is also a plus. Thank you Pilar for sharing the home with me and my family.

Great place!!

Everything is sooo close and convenient to the house. We had a big group and the house was great! Great restaurants half block away. Beach is less than a block away. Pool is cleaned every day! We had a small issue and Pilar was on top of it. I highly recommend this house. This was our second time there and I hope it’s not our last!! Thank you Pillar

It was the best 4 months I've had on vacation.

The place is quiet, it's a very big house. The pool is spectacular, we enjoy it with friends and family. On some afternoons we went BBQ. It is one block from the sea. Walking down the street at night and choosing what type of restaurant we wanted, was part of the fun. Pilar and Bernardo are very friendly people. I hope to return very soon.

A beautiful property perfectly suited for families

We had a wonderful week at Elcanton del Viejon. There were 7 us, my husband, myself our 3 adult children, 2 with partners. The house is in an excellent location. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Chedraui which is the big supermarket and another 15 minutes to the Bucerias town centre. Ten minutes up the hill was an OXO and the bus stop. The house was fully equipped to accommodate all our needs. We were able to utilize the oven to bake a cake to celebrate a birthday. The pool was lovely and having the large covered back deck was a bonus. The neighbourhood felt very safe. There was a taxi service 2 blocks away. We had dinner at the Encore for their 2 for 1 pasta night. Around the block we discovered a small family run Mexican restaurant called Jorge's which was excellent. We love Bucerias and hope that we can come here again with our family!

I lived in the house with all my family for 17 wonderful years; I really love the house.Then we moved Puerto Vallarta and we rented the house on a long term basis. Everybody who has ever rented “El Cantón Del Viejón” has really loved it.
