Disgusting and sticky
Probably the grossest place I’ve stayed in Fenwick. When we entered the unit- there was debris on the floor after it was just “cleaned.” There was a cot and bags of dirty laundry sitting outside the unit. We didn’t know what this was so we brought it in and thought it was our linens- they were dirty linens from the people before us and no one came to pick them up- they just sat in our place all week. The floors when we walked in had not been cleaned. There were hairballs rolling around, clothing tag trash all over the floors and furniture, and other debris on the floor. This place does not have a working vacuum or a dust pan for the broom. Ended up having to drop $140 on a vacuum so we could clean it before we unpacked. You can tell that furniture hasn’t been moved in probably years there to clean under or around. I wish I had taken a bunch of pictures before I cleaned because it was pretty unbelievable. The bathroom rugs were sticky- had to wash those. The living room rug is filthy and sticky- the couches were filthy and you felt wet after you got up because they were so dirty. The screened in porch floor had trash all over it. The location is great though. Right next to the pool! If you don’t mind living in filth for a week- this place is for you! Oh! And the beds were comfortable. It did have a garbage disposal and a brand new dishwasher- so that was a plus. If you plan to do a lot of eating in or cooking- bring your own supplies because they don’t have a ton of supplies.
