Karin, the host, ROCKS!

Patio and pool area were great to visit and entertain friends. The lodging was clean and had everything we needed. Visiting family and friends after leaving San Diego 3 years ago. Central to family, beach, friends and work. Karine is so friendly and helpful and prompt to respond. Our kids came back to the vrbo from the beach to find it locked. Karine was able to get them in instead of them having to wait for us. (Note to self-leave keys in lockbox!) We would definitely stay again next time if available. Thank you! Vrbo is the way to go!!

Excellent séjour chez Scott et Melissa !

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans leur très bel appartement aménagé dans leur maison. Il est très bien équipé et propre. Scott et Melissa ont été des hôtes charmants et disponibles. Les chambres et l'espace de vie sont spacieux et la literie confortable. La piscine est un plus très sympa pour les grands et les petits. Idéal pour les familles !!

The house was very nice

The house was clean and nice but had a bit of a weird smell when I walked near the kitchen. A lot of the things in the house are old which made me feel scared of breaking anything. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Has everything you’d need

I did like the location! It was convenient and close to everything. One thing I did notice is that when we first walked in it had a type of smell that is sort of hard to describe. It was very strong. After spraying some spray and a day later it smelled fine or maybe we got used to it. Sort of like a mold but then I realized we are next to the pool. They had left us with everything we would need during our stay. Very nice people and left us with our privacy. My family and I were staying after a wedding and have been seeing family non stop. We’ve been exhausted. One thing that did upset me was that it was 9:00 am and I was woken up by stomping from upstairs. Maybe it was heels? I’m not sure but it woke me and my sisters up and we had alarms to wake up. It was check out day, maybe they were trying to hint at us. It went on for 10 minutes which is actually very long when you’re sleeping. But we knew when we had to leave. Not only that, but we do pay a cleaning fee and then are told to put the dishes in the dishwasher and Strip the sheets on all beds 1.5-2 hours before check out. We were still sleeping and we didn’t plan for that. It’s iust not in the details of the stay and was asked last minute. They were ok with us not doing it all but when you charge a cleaning fee and have people come to clean, I just know know why I would still have to do anything. I’m on vacation. The actual stay was pleasant tho! I would consider coming back depending on the occasion.

TRANQUIL ESCAPE

We had a wonderful stay! The bedrooms are lovely, each with a big, deliciously, cloud-like beds -- felt like we were sleeping at a 5-star hotel The bathroom is very cute and functional. And the kitchen is idyllic for easy cooking/ meal prep (which we did!) The view from their gorgeous backyard is incredible. And the stunning Mt Helix is only 2 miles away! Melissa and Scott are wonderful hosts, who ensure your privacy, while equally making sure all your needs are met during your stay. Overall, it was a tranquil bungalow escape, and we would certainly repeat our stay given the chance. THANK YOU!!!!!!
