Great condo

The property is lovely - nice and comfortable. It was just what the 3 members of our family needed for accommodations for our beach get-away. We enjoyed the view of the bay from the balcony and the onsite pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved it.

We had a great quick visit. The condo was beautiful, quiet, very clean, and had everything we needed. I chose this condo because of the elevator due to a member of our family having mobility issues. The condo was close to the elevator and he was able to enjoy the pool, sound views from the deck and by the pool. Definitely will be back.

Nice beach getaway

We really enjoyed staying at Sunset Sound. Very clean and had everything we needed. We love the Nags Head area and this condo was in a great location. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfort with a gorgeous view

We’ve stayed at Sugar Creek previously at a different condo and we loved it. We wanted to return and found this condo and it was the perfect size for the three of us. Comfortable beds and living room seating. Very clean and well supplied kitchen Balcony gave us a wonderful view of the sound. Having the parking, pool, and being able to walk out the ramp to the sound offered us the total vacation package. Not to mention we were less than five minutes to Jeanette’s Pier for day beach outings, walking distance to the outlet mall, and the road to Cape Hatteras, and the bridge to Manteo and Wanchese is a right turn away. We will stay here again and again.

Great location, pretty clean, short drive to beach.

The property was perfect for our stay. We have 2 young kids and the floor plan was great. The condo had all of the amenities we needed. The place overall was pretty clean but the couch had some dog hair on it from previous guests. The sheets had a couple stains also. Both issues were minor though. The pool was nice and it was a really short drive to the beach. We would stay again in the future.

Perfect family get away

It is a beautiful unit. Loved the covered parking and one flight made it so easy to get to. We brought our puggle who loved the large field out front - baggy stations were a plus. My husband fished every morning off the pier. How convenient he didn’t have to drive anywhere. Parking at the beach was never a problem - straight across. We loved the location, the pool, and all the restaurant and activities so close by. We would definitely stay again.

Great place but the beds are too soft

This building and the apartment are excellent in many respects. Roomy, attractively furnished and decorated, 2.5 baths, good showers, two coffeemakers. Very fresh and new. However, as the previous reviewer commented, the beds are unsatisfactory. Specifically, the mattresses are much too soft. My wife and I got little sleep due to the associated discomfort. I'm not sure if this is a problem in Village Realty rentals or just this owner's place. However, if this is not a concern for you, this will be a great place to stay. The owner has included lots of hardback novels, especially useful for any who need to catch up on Clancy’s work. The deck has an angled view of Roanoke Sound with high chairs and end tables that make for pleasant mornings while the sun rises. And once you get on the move, the beach is just across the highway and supported by parking where we always found spots. And Food Lion is just a short hop up the road.

Great property with access to a dock. Property is clean and quiet and close to the beach. Overall experience was positive, but the bed sheets were extremely itchy and the pillows were flat.
