Enjoyed our stay

We booked the place last minute on July 3rd and didn’t finish some of the required paper work so was afraid that we may not be about to check in on July 4th since they were closed. We were very grateful that Miguel got back to us on the Fourth and gave us our directions and confirmation code to get in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

WE DIDNT GET TO STAY HERE. This review is about FLORIDA VACATION HOMES. Buyer beware with FVH. We booked our stay over 2 months ago. I got a call about a week before check in that our house had no cable or wi-fi and we had to move, which we weren’t happy about, but understood. From that moment on, everything went south. We were originally in Champions Gate and got moved to Solterra Resort. Solterra was fine, but we lost amenities (game console in the house, game room and mini golf on the property) that were extremely helpful in the cold spring break weather Orlando had this year, and the house was NOT an upgrade. We were told there was nothing left in Chapions Gate. So essentially our family had nothing to do at the Solterra resort or in our home. For the inconveniences we were offered a waived resort fee (which we didn’t use because of the weather), a heated pool (which was not ready upon our arrival and that would’ve been the only good weather day to use it.. then we got fed a bunch of garbage excuses about why it wasn’t ready), and a late checkout (which was the only thing we were able to utilize).The company has not communicated with me for over 72 hours at this point about some kind of partial refund for all of the inconveniences we were subjected to.I cannot even review the actualHome we stayed in because it hasn’t changed in my booking section. Do not recommend booking with FVH. They don’t care about their guests as evidenced by their ghosting 76 hours and counting

My Family enjoyed the stay at 9029 Dogleg Drive, Davenport, Fl. The house had everything that we needed and the employees were great. 100% customer service. The Oasis Club on the property provided much entertainment. We were down for The One Cheer & Dance Championship. We will be back next year. Thanks!

Overall, the condo was nice. However, the cleanliness of the bedding and the customer service was less than to be desired. We arrived late on Sunday (3/13/2022) and when it was time to pull down the sheets we found several (10+) hairs on them (Downstairs bedroom). Also, the comforter on the same bed, although not torn or dirty in appearance, felt like it had hard deteriorating plastic-like areas inside of it in various locations. We attempted to retrieve comforters off of the twin beds upstairs but they appeared to have dried secretions or mucus (boggers) like substances on them. I did call the customer service number at that time and left a message as it was late. We stayed up late that night washing sheets before being able to go to bed. I called back in the morning after not getting a call back from customer service. I spoke with a representative and explained to her the issues. She asked if I had taken pictures and I advised that we had already washed the sheets. I explained to her about the comforters as well and asked if we could just have them replaced. She advised that I needed to take pictures and send them and it would be evaluated. I explained that the queen/king comforter from the downstairs bedroom would not show anything since the breakdown appeared to be inside the filler. Her answer to this was, well, we do not consider that to be an issue since it is not torn or dirty in appearance. She was not helpful or understanding but rather short in her delivery. I did not request a discount, money back, or anything absurd. At this point, because of the lack of customer service and her attitude, I ended the call without anything being resolved. No one reached out after that point. We have stayed near this location and rented on three previous occasions and never had any issues. I still find it hard to comprehend that after spending the amount of money to rent for the week that one little request could not be handled with care, concern, and service. We always do our best to leave a place the same or better than we found it. Although not required according to checkout paper, the trash was taken out, the dishes were cleaned and all the linens were placed in a central location. Thank you for taking the time to read our review. I ask that you take these issues to heart for the next guest who runs into something similar. Respectfully, James S. Campbell

Beyond noisy

The place is very nice clean had everything we needed but it was beyond noisy security doesn't drive around enough as I had to call security to three nights we stayed there , in the pool screaming blasting music till 2 M when we called
