Lovely stay

Spacious unit right on the lake. Peaceful and convenient for us as attractions and the main part of town was a short drive away.

Home away from home

We had a lovely relaxing stay, the property is in a quiet no exit street. The house is very roomy and clean with everything you need. The beds were comfortable l slept well. Of course the view was amazing. We would happily go back.

Was a very nice place for a getaway!

Could have been a little bit cleaner, few hairs in bath and on floor. Great access to lake. Just could use some nicer pillows on bed. Thank you for the easy stay!

Lovely spacious one bedroom property. Just be aware that the cooking facilities are a bit limited.

This is a lovely property with stunning views. Has everything needed for a weekend away. Water pressure is a little low. but beds are comfortable and the kitchenette has everything needed

We loved this place. It was very clean and tidy. Nice to have the heatpump and dehumidifier as we were nice and cosy. Thanks!

Lovely location the property needs work

No water pressure at all with hot or cold water. The toilet worked occasionally The BBQ was quite unsafe, it wouldn’t light with ignition switch & three burners shot out gas rather than lighting. Other cooking options were a plug in hot plate or electric fry pan, which surprised me some what. We couldn’t get the TV to work at all, but someone did come an fix that the following day.

Great value for money

The photos don't do it justice! Very peaceful, beautiful spot on the lake with swans trundling along the bank. Great for a weekend getaway. The studio is very spacious. There is a hotplate and electric frypan available and if you ask in advance, a BBQ can be provided as well. The only thing to mention was a few little cleanliness issues in regards to washing machine and microwave. Other than that I would love to return- fabulous spot!

Perfect for a romantic getaway

What an amazing wee place! We had the best time here, it was just gorgeous and peaceful. Just loved waking up to the beautiful view over the lake. The photos don't do it justice, we will definitely be back again!

Beautiful view

Great location away from the town centre, and close to Ngongotaha village. Very quiet and peaceful. Lodge had everything we needed. Shower/ spa bath is awkward for elderly people to get in and out of (just to be aware). Beautiful sunrises and view.

Good stuff: Beautiful view of the lake, semi private location, good facilities, Wi-Fi, AC unit, well-priced, and close to shops. Good communication and support from owners. Not so good stuff: TV but no service / Sky, hot plate rather than a stove, large bathroom but tiles were cold underfoot & shower pressure could have been better. Also, access to basic cleaning products and a vacuum would have been handy as we stayed for a whole week. But we adapted and overall, we were happy with the property and appreciated the opportunity to stay there, thanks 🙏

Pleasing

This lodge is very spacious and is exactly what it looks like as advertised. Our overall stay was very pleasing however the only down side was that we could not find the remote for the heat pump which lead to a couple of cold nights.

Front door was very hard to open, single bed was like a rock to sleep on. Food left in fridge.toilet

Some dodgy things happened. Chain came off in toilet and the water kept running. This had to be fixed by us.

The property is close to the lake so it gets humid, the house has lot of bushes and there are a lot of bugs because of the vegetation. we could not keep the windows open, it was hot and humid, only one fan and it was not enough for the two rooms.

Beautiful spot for affordable price!

The location and view was amazing, we very much enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy, various appliances to use, fast wifi and very roomy. The place is very cosy, great for a family holiday! 5-10 minute drive from central Rotorua and is situated right on the water.

Rotorua is a tourist destination. Apart from having natural hot springs everywhere, it is a great town that represents the rich flavor of NZ Maori culture.
Ariki Lodge is a good size house... it's awesome for family and friends to get together you can walk out the back door and go trout fishing or a quiet walk also able to cater for small groups of on work functions or business trips
You could have your wedding here right on the side of Lake Rotorua ... each room has an en-suite ... enough space for all your guests on the rear lawn area in this beautiful lakeside house

The house is very picturesque and the views are fantastic straight out the large rear windows with a spacious and peaceful yard
The property is located 10 minutes from Rotorua and accessible to all the local restaurants Agrodome Skyline Redwood forest Polyneasia spa pools and many other visitor attractions
