This cottage has potential. Unfortunately, it was very poorly maintained. Dirty base boards, mold in the shower (which was tiny), ice encrusted freezer with one measly ice cube tray, no coffee, liquid lavender bath gel which isnt idea for allergy prone folks, ripped love seat amd torn coverings on the little dinette chairs. The heat wouldn't turn on and inside was 64. Everyneeds a good scrubbing and the outside patio area needs stained and painted!! It was our worst experience at a VRBO ever!

We made a reservation at this accommodation to celebrate our anniversary, but our excitement quickly turned into disappointment. The property did not resemble the pictures in the listing at all. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find filthy bedsheets, covered in what appeared to be bodily fluids, feces, mucus, and other unidentifiable substances. The overall condition of the property was dilapidated, with peeling paint on the walls and outdated amenities. The shower was unclean, and the towels provided were old and dingy. We had to book another hotel after contacting VRBO and complaining about the unacceptable conditions. Despite our complaints, VRBO and the host refused to issue a refund. The situation was worsened by the host's dishonesty, as they claimed that we stayed for the entire duration of our reservation, even though we left after only 30 minutes due to the unbearable conditions. Our advice to potential guests is to avoid staying at this property at all costs.

In the description it states the home comes with (One Queen futon AND one leather couch) I have 2 children (boy 7 & girl 6) I booked this location because it offered 2 couches so each of them could have their own place to sleep. I wouldn’t have booked it if I had known it comes with only one couch. The property was somewhat clean, but the inside of the house was not cleaned when we arrived at 4pm check-in. The owner stated the cleaning lady had an emergency and had to leave early. The owner was nice enough to clean the home, we appreciated that, but we couldn’t check-in until after 5pm. We sat in our car with 2 small kids, after driving over 5 hours from Georgia to this location. Also, the passcode to the key pad that I received in the email was incorrect. I had to contact the owner & she gave me a new passcode & stated she changed it when the cleaning lady left and forgot to send me the new code to me. This was another inconvenience. Glad were only there for 2 days. I requested a partial refund for the inconvenience, but still no response. Overall it’s a great location, just a short walk to the beach. Street Parking available in front of the house.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this property, nothing fancy but very comfortable. The location, if your a beach person, is superb since it's literaly right down the street. There are numerous restaurants, and shopping options within walking distance. Mandy the host is outstanding, she is there if you need her.

Good location, unfortunately we could not sleep due to a funny smell, noisy fridge & AC unit. The place was out-dated, needs a fresh coat of paint & bad vibe.

I fall in love with Jacksonville Beach when I first visit my family and friends here back in 2 years ago. A small quiet beach town that conveniently close to everything we need. Quiet and safe neighborhood with super friendly neighbors :)

1 block walk to watch beautiful sunrise in early morning and jogging on the beach later afternoon. Half block from tennis courts and park, 3 blocks from Whole-food Market and many of my favorite restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoy ride bike alone the beach to breath the fresh ocean-air.
