Great bungalow, great host

The property and bungalow are exactly what I was looking for. 2 walkable beaches, close to good surfing, food, and culture. The host is friendly, kind and helpful. Loved my stay.

Great value - great host

Carlos was very accommodating and made sure our stay was pleasant. He responded promptly to all of our concerns. The house itself is comfortable and a short walk from the beach.

Great experience

The Carlos the owner makes you feel like Family, very accommodating to your needs. The property is in a great location lets you have the experience of mountain and the beach life. The confort and security we experience was priceless and it truly makes you enjoy your stay.

A Nice Bungalo

If you're looking for the Waldorf Astoria, this is not it. However, the property was just as advertised, surrounded by beautiful and luscious vegetation. The area is surrounded by nature, parking is secure behind a gate, and it is very near several restaurants and beautiful beaches. Minor glitches were responded to immediately by the owner, and we were very pleased with the service!

Great property! Would stay again.

The house was very spacious, decorated & furnished nicely, and the added security of the neighborhood was comforting. The pool was the best feature. Carlos was an excellent host, very responsive, and went above & beyond to be accommodating. Disclaimer: there is no hot water, but this seems to be common throughout the country. Door mats would also be helpful since the rain created mud that would be tracked into the house.

​Teresita had a profound, lifelong love for our beautiful Cuscatlán (the ancestral name for El Salvador). She cherished the warmth of its people, the richness of its culture, and the natural beauty of its coastline. It was her dream to share the spirit of Salvadoran hospitality with the world.

​One of the biggest draws is the private infrastructure. Residents and guests have access to:

​Private Beaches: Exclusive entry to Playa La Leona and direct walking access only on weekdays to the natural tide pools of El Palmarcito.

​The Beach Club: A comprehensive resort-style club featuring multiple saltwater and freshwater pools, water slides, and the well-known Pelícanos restaurant.

​Oceanfront Walkways: Unique paths carved into the cliffs allow for sea-level strolls and spectacular sunset views.

​The community is built into the coastal cliffs, providing a unique architectural landscape:

​Ocean Views: Many properties are situated on cliffs or hillsides, offering panoramic views of the Pacific.

​Atami sits perfectly between the most iconic breaks in the country. For a surfer, staying here means you are never more than 10 minutes from a world-class wave:

​El Palmarcito (The "Backyard" Break): Just a short walk from the community gates. It’s a consistent, fun right-hand point break that is generally less crowded than the more famous spots.

El Sunzal (The Long Ride): A 5-minute drive away. Known as one of the most consistent waves in the world, it offers long, peeling rights that are a dream for longboarders and intermediate surfers.

​El Zonte (Bitcoin Beach): About 8-10 minutes west. It features a more "bohemian" vibe with a high-performance right-hand point break and a beach break that works well on smaller swells.
