Our family of 11 enjoyed our Thanksgiving at the house and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The kids lived in the basement playing pool and other games during our stay. The fire pit by the river was a highlight of the trip and the back yard space made a great backdrop for family pictures. The host was very responsive and attentive to all of our needs. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to make our Thanksgiving meal and the overall atmosphere of the house was very homie feeling. I would call out that there is no tv in the living room area and though I didn’t mind it, my family who wanted to watch the parade and football who couldn’t take the stairs downstairs would have appreciate one. Overall great stay and would highly recommend.

House worked well for our extended family visit with plenty of space for everyone! Beautiful setting with great views! Spent lots of time enjoying the outdoor space -deck, firepit area and the creek!

Really nice home.

Would have been 5 Star, except the hot tub was really gross. Pool man came to clean it out and refill it. Couldn't use it until 3rd day. Pool guy said it was full of soap, like someone had bathe in it. Other than that, great house and relaxing location with a really nice fire pit area right on the river.

Our fun family truly enjoyed our stay iat this property. It was clean and spacious enough for our family. The outside scenery was beautiful, and we spent a lot of time by the creek and on the deck. Our property host. Chris was very welcoming and answered any questions. We had in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you for a wonderful family weekend.

The cabin location and property was great but if you need internet for work please be aware you will need to drive a few miles up the road to get stable internet on your phone. It is spotty at BEST in the cabin with their WiFi and your cellular service will NOT work there. This also means there is no TV. We were not able to watch TV the whole time we were there due to no service. The creek was great and the cabin itself was good.

Check In was very quick and simple. The kitchen was well appointed. The location was so beautiful-right on the Chalk Creek. The home accommodated all of our family. Everyone loved the Hot Tub. Our only problem was no internet so we couldn’t make phone calls, text, make hiking plans, call family if we needed something in town. Hopefully that will be fixed.

Great location, nice home. Creek and the mountain views were stunning. Plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed hiking, rafting, golfing and we played games in the evenings. The pool table was a fun addition. The dishwasher didn’t work initially but was replaced by the property manager.

Great House!

We had a great time! The owner was very communicative before and during our stay with any questions we had. The house is about 5 minutes from the hot springs, so we spent a lot of time there. Very convenient and close to BV and Salida also. Perfect for what we needed. Recommend staying here.

Great Stay

I highly recommend this property it was absolutely beautiful. The stream behind the house was gorgeous and brought a deer and her fawns several of the mornings we were there. The house is well equipped for large groups and it was the perfect spot. Not too far from town but also peaceful and secluded. Buena Vista was a short 10-15 min drive. Perfect.

Beautiful choice for a larger group

We stayed at this home for my son’s wedding weekend in Buena Vista. It was a perfect size for our larger group. Everyone had a bed and the home was very clean. The deck areas were fantastic and everyone enjoyed listening to the water from the creek/river. We also enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and grilling. Truly, we would recommend this house to anyone! Excellent “home base” for our family from Ohio, Maryland, and Colorado! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We are all still talking about it!

Great place to get away.

Every year our company does a winter trip to connect outside of work. This year we choose Casa Immaculata as our destination because of the great location and all the amenities it has to offer. The kitchen was spacious and is fully stocked with everything you need. There was a cupboard full of spices and oils to our surprise. We had 12 adults in our group and this house had plenty of space to accommodate us all. You could easily stay nestled in this home and not get board or if you choose to head out, there is plenty of options within a good 30-minute drive. Mt. Princton is a quick 6-minute drive up the road. The nights are beautiful and the walk down the path to do a late-night fire is breathtaking. There was lots of wood for the fire pit, but this type of wood gets really smoky, so I would suggest bringing a pre-lite log. My whole group had a blast and really loved this house. Will be back again.

40th birthday weekend

We had a blast, the house was great with the most amazing view! Everyone had the best time. The one bedroom downstairs with a double bed didn't have any sheets or pillowcases, that was our only issue. We'd definitely go back!

Creek side wonder

We stayed here for five days and four nights with six adults and four children. We were in the area for a 50th wedding celebration at Mount Princeton Springs resort. The kids particularly loved the fire pit, the hot tub, and the pool table. The adults thought the kitchen was very well equipped, the house was clean and very comfortable. one adult sleeping in the kids room on the double bed thought that the mattress was a little hard. We were in the master suite and found that bed extremely comfortable, and the en suite bathroom quite accommodating. We all enjoyed listening to the creek beside the house, and several of us went for hikes in the area. The house has a very strong religious theme that non-Christians might find a bit overwhelming, but this was not a problem for us. We would certainly stay there again.
