Thanksgiving stay

It was a great stay with a group of friends over thanksgiving. Robert was an excellent host and was very quick to respond when we had questions. The house is well kept and comfortable and located within an easy walk or drive into Gurneville. Would recommend.

Christmas Stay in the Redwoods

Very well stocked kitchen for a vacation rental. We cooked a Roast for Christmas Dinner and had everything we needed. Hot tub was lovely under the trees. High line set up for the leash so the dog could wander in the back yard a bit, back yard is not fenced. Walking distance to the river. Having the extra family room was nice when the group wanted a little down time.

Exactly as advertised

We enjoyed our stay in Guerneville and got exactly what we were looking for. The photos are accurate, communication was prompt and informative, wifi worked well, and the house was great.

Family Wine Country Retreat

Spacious yet cozy in excellently equipped 3 bedroom (+ loft) get away. Nestled in redwood forest was convenient to town of Guerneville, many wineries, and exciting meal experiences.

a month in the country

Great place and perfect layout for groups with different needs for together and alone time. Layout is great for socializing or sitting on one of the 3 decks to read a book or have a quieter conversation. Covered deck upstairs served as an extended dining/game room and comfortable place just to hang out in the redwoods. Kitchen was generously stocked with everything we needed. In the trees so stayed cool during the heat wave. You'll want an extra layer in the mornings but that's life at the river. Good location, short drive (or walk) to downtown Guerneville, walk to the river or down the hill to Oxbow for burgers and (great) fries. I rented the place for the whole month (had to get away and not comfortable flying yet) and invited different small groups to join for different weeks. It was perfect. The only drawback is the road noise was an issue for a couple of people, others didn't even notice. The minor issues we had, owner and property manager were quickly responsive to.

Amazing place amazing service

You couldn’t ask for a better property or a better property manager to work with. Robert is top notch and the property is amazing and my family had the best time going to book again and book often.

Great time in Guerneville!

The house was better than described and in a great location. Our family had a great time in this very nice and well equipped home. Robert, our host, was very accessible for a few questions and got back to us quickly. We hope to stay here again!

Charming, roomy, well-kept Guerneville getaway

Visited Guerneville with two other couples, three dogs and a toddler. The house was roomy enough for all of us. Beds were comfortable (all Queens) and house was clean. Nest temperature controls kept the house perfect for chilly mornings and nights. We cooked every night, played games on the enclosed patio, and were close enough to drive into the main part of town in under 5 minutes. Robert was responsive and Michelle was a delight. Fantastic rental for 6 adults and a child. We hope to return!

The house was comfortable and met our travel needs. The beds were comfortable. We never figured out how to keep the house from getting too cold. Check out information based on owner welcome email and house book were different. Check out at 3pm or 11am? Leave sheets on bed or strip them? Overall, our stay went well. Contacted Robert with questions. He had no clue who I was or how I had his number. Sounds like he hadn't been to the house in about 5 months. Recommend contacting the other person listed with questions.

Nice and Comfortable

The house is nicely decorated, kitchen nicely renovated and well equipped. Location is good, not far off the highway just a few minutes drive to funky Guerneville and less than 20 minutes drive to the coast and near the lovely wine road to Healdsburg . Nice decks and solid bbq. Lots of bedrooms good for a family or small group of friends.

A great house to stay when visiting Guernville!

This house is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable for 2 families with kids and dogs to stay. It's a great place to cook, dine, play and relax. We were there over a cold winter weekend, so we used both fireplaces and jacuzzi quite a bit to warm up. We can't wait to rent it again in the summer to use the outdoor dining patio.

Beautiful, spacious home, perfect for a relaxing weekend with friends.

This house was wonderful. Clean, comfortable, looked to be recently renovated. Nice big porches, and an open patio with a dining table, grill, and a space heater. Hot tub was greatly enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Russian River with a small group - we fit 6 adults comfortably. Note on the layout - two bedrooms on the main floor with a large bathroom, and one bedroom on the lower level. To get to the lower level bedroom, you pass through a small den, which can also serve as another bedroom if you bring an air bed. Hot tub is accessible from both floors (each floor has a porch). Brand new appliances throughout, two big TV's with Apple TV's attached. Wood fireplace. A great, comfortable place to visit. Would definitely book again. The few minor inconveniences weren't all that bad. There's 1 key to the house in a lock box, so you have to remember to put it back each time you leave, but this made managing a group of 6 easier - the key was always at the house. Also, it's about a mile from the center of Guerneville, so a 15-20 minute walk - not a bad walk into town, but returning, well, the hill at the end is a doozy. Bring a flashlight if you're walking the road at night. Also, the wifi was a bit slow, but it's out in the boonies, so not a big deal. All in all, we had a great experience with this house - highly recommended for a long weekend away. It's a big place, so it's good for families, or a few couples looking to get away from the city.

Treehouse in Guerneville

Very nicely done house; cozy, fresh, private with lovely outlook into the trees. Well appointed with a great eating deck, very nice barbeque. Good central location for the area; easy driving distance to a lot of good restaurants, beaches, wineries and other towns.
