Great Stay

Excellent place to stay! I've stayed at many places in Port Isabel and South Padre over the years, but this might be my favorite one. The view is incredible, the condo is perfect, and the dock is very nice. The condo is well stocked. I'll check to see if this place is available next time we visit SPI! Thanks for making it available to rent!

Overall great place to rent for the weekend. The host was very nice. The process was a little out of the norm for me at least filling out paperwork for the rules. I am not a huge fan of HOA. They can be pretty annoying and I've heard stories about condos that have that. However here as long as your discreet about your stay and are respectful I feel like you're fine. The people who are there at the condo also great. The fishing spot was great caught myself a 22 inch red fish, and my lord there is a monster black drum swimming around that dock! I got a good look at it in the morning has to be about 32 inches or more. Only issue I had was the parking, when inviting my family over, there's really not much options. They have to park really far away from the condo little bit of a let down. Other than that it was great! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to fish and have a good time. Also a tip! There is a time that the fish are active and biting. I think it's the morning and afternoon. At night I wasn't getting much luck and neither where the other guests could have also been the tides but for me I was catching and getting bites in the day time.

Great Place!

Had a great stay! My son was supposed to go with me but unfortunately he was not able to join me. My brother and a friend ended up going and it was the perfect place to stay, especially if you're planning on going fishing! Didn't catch many keepers but had a great time!

So, the views were amazing. The condo was very clean and exceeded our expectations. On the downside: the front door was very difficult to open. Had to push it open. Tub in the MB does not drain well. Lastly, the parking was not very welcoming for our F250If not for this, it would’ve been 5’s all around.

Need to allow more than one parking spot

Due to limited parking when the building was built, each condo owner has one unassigned parking spot per the declaration and bylaws. Permits are required which we give to guests to park one vehicle for free. Since we are only allowed one space we cannot offer more than one. If a vehicle does not have a permit, it may get towed especially in the high season. We have no control over that except to warn our guests to put the permit on their vehicle dashboard. The condo homeowners association does the towing but does not receive any income from the towing. It all goes to the local towing companies. This is common for many complexes on the island due to limited parking spaces. That information is disclosed on our listing on the VRBO website under the comments for parking section. Information is also there about nearby free city street parking for additional vehicles if you follow the city ordinances. Hope this helps explain things.

Lovely place!

Cheryl and Larry were absolutely wonderful hosts! Despite being out of the country they were still very responsive to a couple of small issues we had (maid hadn't taken care of a couple of small things and there weren't any blinds in the master bedroom). They were kind enough to even let us have an early check in and a late check out! Condo was beautiful and had a gorgeous bay view in a quieter part of the Island. The fishing dock was so much fun at night and the condo itself was incredibly large and had a full sized washer/dryer. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing

We had an amazing time at this beautiful condo! Pictures don’t do justice. View from the balcony is breathtaking! Spent every morning there drinking coffee, and every evening watching fishermen and fireworks! Condo is super clean and spacious! The owners are amazing! They emailed and called to check on us. Also gave us great suggestions regarding best sea food restaurants! Will definitely go back!

Annual SPI family get together

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean, bright, open and very accomodating. The view was incredible. It was really nice to have the lighted fishing pier (even though the fish were not very cooperative) and the bay-side location provided easy beach access as well.. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfection!

Our weekend was amazing! The 302 is perfect! Clean, spacious and let me just say the two balconies-both with amazing views-simply amazing.. We enjoyed our weekend so much. Larry sent all the information that was needed which made the check-in process so smooth and clear. We hope to be back soon!

Excellent stay

Absolutely loved our stay here! The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed plus more. The owners were extremely helpful and responsive even when our plans unexpectedly changed. Even the beach (and one of the best beach bars) was just a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Location

Owners were very helpful and nice. They were quickly able to rectify a not so good experience upon arriving at the condo. Cleaning crew did not show to clean or change out linen from last tenants. They were able get someone to come and clean that night. Besides that we had a very relaxing and fun time. Beautiful sunset in the evening made it all worthwhile.
