Overall, an excellent rating from us! The villa's location is spot on, the decor was perfect for us (with a toddler in tow !). Having a travel cot (to erect in an upstairs bedroom) was very helpful. And the pool heating being on was a fabulous bonus : we used the pool almost every day !We'd love to return, as soon as finances permit !

40 yrs together

We stayed at the property 2 yrs ago and as it's our 40th anniversary this year we decided to go back. They say that it's never the same the second time around. For us this time it was better. There's been some great improvements to the property, new ceiling fans, refurbished bathrooms. Thank you Pat. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend your home to friends and family.

Excellent location

Rental experience very easy. The house is great size for 6 guests and a large pool. Beautiful views of the lake. House is in need of a lick of paint and furniture could use updating. The original picture was taken some time ago as the little tree in the front garden is taller than the house now. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

Classic Chatham Park

We have been to Florida 11 times now. The property exceeded our expectations. The photos on the site don't do the property just. Ignore any negative reviews. If this property is still available for our next visit, we'll certainly be back. Thanks Pat for your lovely home. Warm regards Phil

Reasonable enough but needs some work

It's a nice enough house and clean and tidy for the most part but could do with a spring clean and clearing the backlog of maintenance tasks e.g. pool screen has sections missing and others ripped/torn, the pool deck planters have been filled in with cement but not made good and the whole screen area could use a pressure wash to get rid of the green algae. It's a shame because for a holiday home it's fine and the location on the lake is beautiful. It's close to the 192 which has everything you need. Just needs a proper clean and tidy up. Would I stay again - probably not. I'd look for something a bit more modern and better maintained.

Lovely house

House was very clean. At some point in time, there must have been a leak in the roof as the upstairs bonus room has water damage to the ceiling. The pool area is a good size and having the the pond behind was beautiful. This is my second time renting from Pat. The first time it was a different house in the same area. Lovely area. The location was perfect. When we got there, two of the bottom screens from the pool enclosure was torn and ducks had no issues getting in through it. I messaged Pat on VRBO and the next day, she had someone come over and repair the screens. Overall, I would def rent this house again if it is available. It was a great stay!!

Florida stay

Entering the house you find a lovely clean open reception room with lounge and dining room. Upstairs 2 x nice comfortable bed rooms with a cozy seating area and a bathroom. Down stairs one bedroom with a bathroom and extra toilet also a door leading to the garage with washing machine and dryer as well as a pool table.Wonderful pool area with amazing view over the lake. Well equipped kitchen. All in all a really comfortable house to stay in. +- 10min or so away you find Walmart with everything you might need and turning the opposite direction a lot of places to eat. We found the ladies serving at Denny's really friendly with giving advice about where to go and places to visit when you don't want to go to the Disney park's We also came across a lovely small Mexican diner El Tenampa Kissimee with great food and a good selection of margaritas. As they are really busy booking in advance is advised.

Needs TLC

The best part....We totally enjoyed the sunshine and the nice pool! Watching all of the wildlife around the lake was a highlight of the day, as well as star gazing in the pool at night! The bed was comfortable. The cable tv package was great. The internet worked well. The not so good part....the property is in major need of TLC. The rock beds in the pool area were full of tall weeds. The pool furniture was covered in green mold and dirty, so were unusable. We were able to use the outdoor dining chairs and table, but even those are rusting on the feet, and fitted with seat pads that are too big for them. Moving inside, the house needs a major cleaning, and most of the furniture needs replaced, as it is covered with soiled spots. It looked as if repairs were being done shoddily (wall patches, duck tape repairs, missing towel bar, one of the sinks in master not working). The overall feel of the house is outdated. The pictures state a new fitted kitchen, but this kitchen is anything but new. We walk everyday, so we saw quite a bit of the neighborhood. The individual community and surrounding communities are nice. The main road leading into the community has woods, and these woods run along the fence that surrounds the lake behind the house. On our walks, we saw 3 or 4 encampments where people were living in the woods. This made us a bit nervous. This house could be a beautiful place with some updates and professional repairs. Perhaps once the owner is permitted to return from the UK, things will be taken care of.

Wir haben tolle drei Wochen in dem Haus verbracht. Pat ist eine wunderbare Vermieterin und stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.Im Haus hat es uns nichts gefehlt. Die Küche ist Mega ausgestattet, sogar mit eine Heißluftfritteuse. Die Umgebung und der Ausblick am Pool einfach wunderbar.Komm auf jeden Fall wieder.

Prachtige locatie

Locatie is geweldig jammer dat we niet het zwembad konden gebruiken was niet verwarmd. Op zich een mooi huis maar heeft veel onderhoud nodig jammer dat het niet bijgehouden word. Toch fijne weken gehad en de prijs per nacht is ook prima dus dan mag wel wat minder luxe.

Bon séjour comme même

Nous avons aimé notre séjour à cette villa, sauf qu'il il n'y avait aucun moyen de contact avec l'hôte, le toit coulait quant il pleuvait, d'ailleurs nous avons trouvé un contenant juste au dessous de l'endroit où ça coulait.

good holiday

We booked this villa for eleven nights and unlike some recent reviews found no problems at all, everything was clean and well maintained, the pool area was spotless as was the pool which is larger than a lot of others in the area. the beds were comfortable, the wifi worked perfectly. Also the location is great, only 2 or 3 miles to the super markets and local restaurants and about 25 minutes by car to the theme parks. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to rebook this villa should we return to Orlando.

Very disappointing experience, REALLY gone down hill

Stayed here in 2014, which was really good, stayed here again at the end of April/beginning of May (2022)for two weeks and was a very different experience. On arrival we found that the internet wasn’t working, had to go to Walmart to use their WiFi in order to send email to the owner to inform and get sorted, this actually took a week to sort out, 3 unanswered emails and it was left to me to contact the WiFi provider and arrange for an engineer to come out and fix, resulting in us wasting a whole day waiting for an engineer to arrive.....should have been sorted by the management company, not the renter!!! We also then had a problem with the pool, had paid for pool heating, half way through our holiday the hot tub emptied its self and the heating went off, this sorted itself a few days later, but then done the same thing. When I informed the owner, they weren’t interested in sorting it out, just offered a refund for the pool heating.... sorry not good enough....could have been fixed by a pool technician in little time. Furthermore, refund was supposed to take up to 15 days, after 18 days I had to chase it up in order to get it. General condition of the villa was very poor, at least 5 lights not working, cobwebs on windows, stains on sofas and most chairs, toilets didn’t flush properly, sink plugs not working(actually had to re-attach one myself)...... the list could go on..... Outside area was appalling, big holes in the netting over the pool, side door lock not locking, all the outdoor furniture was really dirty and stained, loads of weeds. Garage area was really just a dumping ground for old broken stuff The pictures on the website must have been taken over 20 years ago.....which was probably when it was last cleaned! There are some positives, the location is fantastic and offers good access to the theme parks, supermarkets and restaurants. The view over the lake is really good, got to see lots of wild life and even got to see an a alligator. There is so much protential, needs a complete refresh.

We left half way through our stay as we couldn't cope with the lack of cleanliness anymore

The cockroaches in the bedroom topped us off and we left in the middle of the night. There was broken glass on the floor inside, nothing hoovered, rugs were dirty, chairs stained heavily. Pool area full of weeds, not clean. White towel on the floor and it was practically black when we picked it up. Sofa bed on the upstairs landing (definitely doesn't sleep 8) was so old and broken there is no way an adult could sleep on it. Valances on the beds had cobwebs, garage was a dumping ground for everything broken and again filthy. Light switches either didn't work or were temperamental. Dried food marks on the kitchen cupboards, not even the basics of washing up liquid to keep you going. Outdoor furniture was dirty as well. Screened off area door was held shut by a broken toy. Towels were threadbearing and bleached. We ended up sweeping and mopping outside just to feel a bit nicer. We weren't expecting a pristine villa but dirty is just not acceptable. Drawers were broken in bedrooms, toilets not flushing properly. Beautiful view out the back and great location, very quiet. Resident alligator in the lake was fascinating to see. Given some money back straightaway but not enough to cover the move we had to do. 3 small doubles, king sofa bed but on the landing so no privacy. No twins, not really suitable for children. We were shown the terms and conditions and apparently this is all minor so not entitled to money back. It's a joke given not one room was OK. Oh and the maintenance guy who chemically shocked the pool on day 2, had we of not turned up when he was leaving, we wouldn't of been told not to use the pool for over an hour. My kids could of had a really horrific experience with chemicals. Pool shocking is usually a one off treatment not a weekly cycle like he told us

Terrible

We got there at check-in time 3pm, hadn't been cleaned, cleaner came shortly after and told us we were too early, not, and we had to wait till 6:30 till she cleaned. We were reimbursed for 1 day but furniture is filthy as are walls. My husband cleaned the windows as couldn't stand looking at them, so dirty. Pool was not cleaned while we were there for 2 weeks and turned green! Tried to get in touch with VRBO to no avail. Someone named Dafodil contacted us from VRBO and told us not to contact owner but just VRBO but we tried and never got a response. Beautiful spot but property not taken care of at all. VRBO needs to update picture of outside front, taken probably 20 years ago.

Amazing pool. Great price

This house was great! My kids loved the very large pool. The house was significantly cheaper than all the others and that made me nervous but it was perfect! I would definitely stay her again. 15 minutes to Disney with tons of other activities around. The only minor critique, and maybe it’s somewhere in the emails and I missed it, but I wish there was a local property manager we could call when we had questions. Vrbo was a 30 minute hold and the owner is in a different country so the time difference made communications was only via email and no was to make a phone call so that slowed things down a bit. . But even with that, it’s a great place for a great price!

Great Location, need some upgrades.

House is in a perfect location for the Parks and Shopping. Rooms are very comfortable, Baths are Great, lots of space. House was clean,. Somehow I don’t understand why USPS won’t deliver to this address…. I had two packages from Amazon shipped via USPS not delivered but the ones that used other carriers did arrived…. We had 4 days out of 10 without WiFi Service, finally we were given a phone number to have it fixed by ourselves…. Previous renters garbage was in the outside bins so they were full and smelly. Overall is a very good location, We would definitely rent it again. it just needs some more information in the property as to how to deal with issues like the Internet Provider and the cleaning service to leave Thad Garbage cans clean and empty before the next guests check in.

The property was in a great location, had everything we needed for our holiday. The pool was the best pool we have ever had and the views were great overlooking a lake. There was plenty of wildlife, which our grandson was interested in. Would book again in the future. Thanks very much the villa made our holiday.

We have three properties on the estate which is well maintained, pleasant and secure. All of our properties are within walking distance of each other.
