Very good apartment. Clean on arrival. Welcome cleaning kit and snacks very much appreciated. Some minor issues that need dealing with. Owner informed The negative side was there was no pool to use as advertised. Tennis club membership expired when got there. Beach club pool 30 euros per day each was not affordable and was always full. Otherwise lovely place and area to stay in. Beaches and local shop are walkable but too far in the heat. Ubers excellent.

Beautiful place!

This was our second time staying at this apartment. First in 2018. Still a lovely apartment with basics provided - toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. Great location too being a short walk from the tennis club and bout 20 minutes from the beach. Owner had great communication and recommendations for us. We loved it!

A casa não está preparada para receber um casal. A cozinha tinha apenas um banco para fazer uma refeição rápida, tínhamos que comer sempres na rua. O segundo quarto muito pequeno sem janela. Falta de armários para colocar roupa, Na cama de casal fizeram a cama com uma min colcha posta ao contrário. WC do quarto principal minúsculo. Resultado não recomendo este apartamento, foi remodelado, mas não apresenta condições práticas e confortáveis. Não recomendo nem voltava a alugar.

Nothing provided...not even toilet paper

We were in Portugal on business, not for pleasure, so we didn't expect to find much open or available to us during Covid lockdowns, but after driving for several hours to our destination (a Vrbo in a lovely, high end resort community), we did expect to find what any traveler would need upon arrival: Use the bathroom and wash our hands. Unfortunately, that was not possible it this apartment because no toilet paper OR soap was provided! We had to get right back in our car and find a grocery store, just to use the loo! After correcting that problem, we went on to find out that no dishwasher detergent, no laundry detergent, shampoo, paper towels, salt, pepper or coffee were available! The coffee didn't matter so much because there was no WORKING coffee pot! So back to the store to buy entire bottles and boxes of the things we needed, just to exist. If a Vrbo has a dishwasher or laundry machine, it is expected that at least a small amount of detergent be left for those appliances. But that was not the case. I would expect that (at a minimum) salt and pepper would be found in the kitchen cupboard...but alas, NO. For the 5 years I have run two Vrbo's, and travelled extensively using Vrbo's. I have never seen such a poorly equipped place, nor felt so unwelcome. We tried to contact the management company several times, and got NO callback or acknowledgment. After complaining to the owner, a used and dirty coffee pot appeared IN our room two mornings later. The entire reason we chose to move away from hotels during our travels was to keep our exposure to covid low, and to avoid housekeeping services. Management never alerted us to the fact they might be coming by, and ENTERED OUR ROOM WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION IN OUR ABSENCE. This in turn made us look more closely at everything else...the apartment certainly wasn't cleaned to any quality standard. Needless to say, the property management company at Vale do Lobo is horrible. I've never had to give a review like this, but the owner should find a new management company, if he wants to continue renting this apartment.

first class appartment

This is a first class apartment in a luxury resort. Accomodation arrangements were very smooth and Andrew normally responds immediately-all facilities are exactly as described.TV EXCELLENT AS WAS WI FI.You are given membership of the Tennis Club which has a pool and restaraunt for basic meals.The beachfront PRACA has classier restaraunts but a bit pricier.UBERS are reliable and cheap although you can walk to nearest Supermarket which is very reasonable and well stocked.Recomend going to one of sea front bars/restaraunts views are stunning.For the transfer Andrew will recomend YELLOWFISH TRANSFERS-TO/FROM AIRPORT-BOOK THEM THEY ARE EXCELLENT.

mooie accomodatie, maar onderhoud is gewenst

De communicatie met de verhuurder was niet vlekkeloos, zowel direct na het boeken als op de aankomstdag voor het verkrijgen van de toegang via de SMS code. Dat is via telefonisch overleg opgelost en nadien heeft Andrew nogmaals gebeld om te informeren of alles naar wens was. Het appartement is mooi, maar je ziet dat het intensief wordt gebruikt. Een stevige upgrade is wenselijk. Het tweepersoonsbed is wat hard, de eenpersoonsbedden wat klein en zacht . De bank zit niet echt fijn, de houten schuifdeuren (zonwering) werken niet door een kapotte betonnen drempel waarover de deur moet schuiven. Ook de schuifpui voelt wat gammel aan. De badkamers zijn toe aan een zeer grondige poetsbeurt , er is overal zwarte schimmel. Dat komt omdat ze inpandig zijn en de ventilatie niet afdoende is. De kleine badkamer zou helemaal gerenoveerd moeten worden, de tegels en douchewand zijn door de kalk aangetast . Ook het rekje is met roestige schroeven gemonteerd. Kortom, het is het allemaal net niet. Jammer. Want het park is prachtig, schoon, en rustig met goede faciliteiten en veel en goed onderhouden groenvoorzieningen. Het was jammer dat vanaf oktober de zwembaden gesloten zijn, dat had in de advertentie moeten staan. Ook de woning is mooi van opzet, maar net als iedere woning die intensief wordt gebruikt ontkom je niet aan onderhoud. Internet en TV zijn prima,de airo is aanwezig in slaapkamer en woonkamer, (alleen de kleine kamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden ontbeert die. Zeker omdat er geen raam is, zou dat fijn zijn. De keuken is goed uitgerust en functioneel (alleen de deurtjes hangen wat scheef, dus even opnieuw afstellen) . De left-overs van vorige huurders wordt opgeruimd, zodat iedereen weer zaken gaat inkopen die de vorige huurder al had gekocht en niet allemaal in 1 of 2 weken tijd gebruikt. Bijvoorbeeld koffiefilters, kruiden, theezakjes etc etc. Het terras ligt 's morgens in de zon, vanaf 11 uur is er volop schaduw, maar dat is in het najaar net weer jammer. Samenvattend, een mooi park, fijne ligging en goede accommodaties. Als de woning nu nog een upgrade krijgt dan kan iedereen er nog lang met veel plezier van genieten. Wij zouden het geen straf vinden om er nogmaals naar toe te gaan.

El apartamento estaba bastante bien. Limpieza correcta, aunque se nota que deberían renovar algunas cosas, que por el paso del tiempo y el uso están deterioradas (plancha, tendedero, vasos muy escasos, colchones camas individuales....) La segunda habitación muy pequeña y sin ventanas. Echo de menos piscina en la urbanización, aunque la del club de tenis estaba bastante cerca y muy tranquila. La zona un poco cara. Relación calidad precio del alojamiento, muy buena. Respecto a las indicaciones del propietario a la hora de recoger las llaves y especificar la dirección exacta, un poco ambiguas. Confiaba en recibir un email con todo, pero tuve que llamar hasta 3 veces estando ya allí porque no lo encontraba.

Winter break

The apartment was comfortable and being January/February the heating was a must. Although the apartment was abit care worn, there was everything we could need and more to make it a home from home experience. Just a little grouch, the settee was very low to the floor and being tall, it was rather uncomfortable to sit on and get out of. We found the apartments location good for getting about easily but you do need a car. The excellent local supermarket only 5 minutes away , Quinta shopping and restaurants 8 minutes and several beaches nearby. Loule Velho is our favourite. Since we wanted a winter get away we were pleased that we chose Vale do Lobo, it is quiet and residential. We would like to visit again.

The property is nicely decorated and the tv is brilliant as you have sky kids channels for the early morning risers. Nice kitchen and interiors. Would say that there could be an update on kitchen utensils and some mattress toppers to make it perfect. Overall a very nice stay and great communication with the owner.

During our stay we experienced a series of issues - screeching pipes in the main bathroom waking us up three separate times in the middle of the night, no air con or windows in second bedroom, poor security as patio doors not fully lockable and no corkscrew in the kitchen! The management company and owner resolved the pipe issue after complaining but we will not be returning to this apartment again.

I stayed in this apartment in late January and it was a really lovely apartment in a fabulous location in Vale Do Lobo. Great place to stay if playing golf, close to supermarkets, the beach and Vilamoura. Nice and clean, well equiped, good wifi and Sky Sports was an added bonus!

Not as expected!

Firstly let me say this is Vale do Lobo an exclusive expensive area I have been visiting for 25 years. While the apartment has been modernised it is of an old style Portuguese build so small dark rooms. We were going to try it for future reference for our children and grandchildren as a cheaper option.Unfortunately the apartment had not been cleaned on our arrival and we decided not to stay. A lot of walking is required to the beach and main swimming pool in the pictures (20/25 mins each way with kids especially ).If a cheap place to get your head down is all you require (ideal for golfers) then it is great but otherwise pay more and stay nearer the beach.

Every aspect of this booking has been high quality. From an original enquiry and question about the property, a simple booking process, good and accurate info about the property, excellent arrivals directions and information. The property itself is of high quality Vale de Lobo is fabulous even off season. A key aspect for us is the cleanliness of the accomodation - 😁😁 excellent! The Agents Seashell are good resolving a small problem with an ajoining property very satisfactorily. I would have no hesitation in returning. 😁😁😁
