Excellent and stress free

Everything about the property was accurately described. Mosquitoes tried to carry us away, but the beauty of the ocean trumped all bites!

Family birthday fun!

Great Getaway!

We've stayed at Pointe West many times over the years and specifically this unit multiple times and have yet to be disappointed. Great location for quiet and relaxation as it is a little further away from the clubhouse. All you need is clothes and some groceries - everything else you might need is all available and waiting for your arrival! Sapphire Beach is well kept, clean, and good communication from the host. Great views from both balconies. We look forward to visiting again!

Spectacular Stay

This was the finest condo we have ever stayed in since we started coming every year since 2009. The views were incredible and the condo was very comfortable and well appointed. Loved it!!

Great stay!

Very spacious and nicely set up property. Excellent communication with the manager. Everything is provided, including beach towels. All you need to bring is shampoo and body wash. Close walk to a very nice pool by the seasonal restaurant (the lazy river is a drive, and it is really small so that you know). The beach is lovely. You can rent beach chairs and sun tents. There are bikes for rent at the Beach Club and a few restaurants a short drive away. Very nice and relaxing place. Enjoy!

Great Property, Well Appointed

We spent a weekend at this property. The property manager was accessible and accommodating, the place itself was very nice. Everything was as advertised, we were happy with the place. Will rent again if we visit.

It’s all about the view!

The view is absolutely beautiful! Lots of room. Living room furniture looks okay but sinks down from wear, my elderly father couldn’t get out of it and it is really uncomfortable. Internet has trouble had to keep unplugging and plugging back in.

Great stay

We had a great time! The views from the balcony are amazing and the location is great next to the boardwalk. The condo was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will be back!

Great experience at Sapphire Beach!

We’ve stayed in this building many time, but this was our first time staying in Sapphire Beach! The unit was just as beautiful as the pictures show. The bedrooms were furnished nicely with comfy linens. We loved the large kitchen, balcony and owner retreat bath in particular. It is very easy to get to the beach with a walkover just to the side of the building. We spent a lot of time enjoying the view. My son left one of his toys in unit and James mailed to us. We got it within two days. We were very thankful for his kindness. We would highly recommend staying at Sapphire Beach and we plan on returning as well.

Beautiful location

The condo was in a great location to the beach! We’ve been coming to Pointe West for years and this was one of the best locations with just a few steps away from the boardwalk. The condo was very clean and spacious for 5 adults and 2 children. The owners were quick to respond and the condo had everything listed. We had a wonderful time!

Needs more bath towels, and soap. Also the master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. It has a massive dip. Also new pillows.

Super Pleased

Having never been to Galveston before, this was an awesome introduction. James was super responsive and accommodating beforehand. We went with the intention of hanging out at the beach for most of the time, and this was perfect for that. Far enough away from the busyness/craziness of Galveston "city," and the walk to the beach was super convenient. We had such a blast at the beach, we didn't even check out the Beach Club next door (though it looked awesome if you're interested). A few side notes that are helpful to know: 1) They did have a wagon in the closet to haul your stuff down to the beach. Super helpful. 2) Try your best to do your shopping on the way down before you get to the island. Seven Seas Grocery is close enough, but limited selection and definitely a lot more pricey than a Kroger or Walmart. Think we just started an annual family tradition. Thanks James and crew!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was absolutely beautiful! The elevator broke, & it was a bit of an inconvenience lugging our things up & down the stairs. Also, the location is beautiful, but it really far out. You have to bring things because the commute to town is very long. Plus, we never got the wristbands that we paid $105 for.
