Podia ser melhor

Os sofás cama não apresentam as melhores condições e o ar condicionado não funciona. Tinhamos uma reserva para 5 pessoas mas as tolhas e os lencois apenas estavam destinados a 4 pessoas. Fica um pouco aquém ao que é apresentado no anúncio.

Great Host

We have stayed in various apartments between a few different blocks so know the area well and love it. This was our first time in this apartment, it was clean and check in was easy enough. There were two issues that we had when we arrived which were, there was no cot and the air con did not work. Firstly the cot, this host manages a couple of properties and the cot had been moved to another apartment. Then the air con, I had read in a previous review that it was not working and thought after two years it would be fixed, however on checking the listing it doesn’t mention air con, so this was my mistake as I picked this up wrong. We had arrived late in the evening and managed to get through the first night. I sent a text to the host and to his credit he arrived the next day with a travel cot and even bought a portable air con system which he set up. We were so grateful and this made our stay much more comfortable. The only things stopping me from giving it 5 stars are the fact it could do with a freshen up, new shower curtains, paint, couple of light bulbs etc. Also the personal touch, the was now welcome pack, wi-fi code, or anything in the fridge on arrival that we have been provided in the past. Fortunately we knew the area, didn’t need wi-fi and Aldi isn’t far away but as I said it’s these small things that make somewhere 5 star. We would definitely book again and appreciate everything that Joao did for us.

Lovely location. But no air comditioner

Lovely location with private pool. The only downside is no air conditioner . It bit hard to sleep in hot weather. I've read the comments complaint about the air conditioner. I thought it has been fixed.

Clean and tidy but no air con

Arrived at property to be informed the air con was not working. We were showed the pool area then the last left without showing us how to work certain things in the property. We had cold showers for 3 days as the water jd been turned off and we wernt advised to turn it on before hand. Our stay was ok but the price of the property and having no air con was not acceptable.

Fantastic Holiday

Joào was very quick to respond to any queries we had prior to our stay and during . On arrival he was there to greet us and went above and beyond even giving us safety tips for when we were out and about. The apartment itself was fantastic more than enough room to accommodate us all, clean and with modern furnishings. There is a chicken restaurant/takeaway just across the road and an atm which is very handy. It’s about a 3-5 min walk to the strip, restaurants and shops so very accessible to everything but also has the bonus of being far enough away to enjoy some peace from the hustle and bustle of the strip. This is my second stay in Corcovado and I would definitely stay again as would others in our group.

Parque Da Corcavada apartment

Nice apartment as expected as we have stayed on this complex twice before. Location and pool satisfied our needs as it was only a short walk to the strip and a taxi ride to the beautiful old town and wonderful beach The apartment was large and allows for a 'home from home' experience. The only downside to the stay was the advertised air con did not work throughout the duration of our stay. The owner supplied us with one small mobile unit that was not fit for an apartment of this side. When renting an apartment I chose one with air con as my wife and children struggle to sleep in the heat. No attempt was made to fix the air con and the owner suggested that it was not really that warm and we didn't need it! No offer of compensation was made, the owner even said he would take the mobile unit away? this left a bit of a sour taste to what was a very enjoyable holiday.

Great Apartment

I would highly recommend this apartment, huge space, modern, high quality finishes, and completely secure.. Joao was very accommodating and at the end of the phone if ever required. I can honestly say that i have no complaints and if we visit Portugal again i would stay here in a heartbeat.
