Delightful little cottage just a short 2 minute walk from the town, harbour and not to far from the amazing Wells beach. The cottage itself is small, but still enough room for 2 adults, our small dog and 2 young children (3 & 4 years) to run around without getting under each others feet. The garden is ideal. Parking is a little tricky as it's on street, but keep an eye out during the day for the day trippers to depart and you can generally get parked up opposite the cottage.
Well equipped with pretty much everything you need and loads of bath/hand towels and tea towels supplied to last the week. It would benefit from having some plastic plates, bowls and cups available for the kids...having to give ceramic and glass ones to 3 and 4 year old kids is a recipe for disaster, which thankfully didn't occur during our stay!
The stairs are a little steep and tricky which you'd expect from an old Norfolk bolthole, so wouldn't recommend this place if you are not completely stable on your feet. Also, the addition of a stair gate at the top would allow parents with younger children to sleep with both eye's closed!
Overall, it's a great little hideaway for a short break and with £20 spent on some plastic kitchenware and a stair gate it would be perfect for any family situation.
