Treehouse Lodgeへようこそ。風光明媚な環境から名付けられました。ドアを歩くと、大きな天井と川の石の暖炉がある広々としたリビングエリアに迎えられます。リビングルームには大型テレビとステレオがあり、ファミリーゲームの夜には最適の場所で、アンティークをしたい人にはポーカーテーブルもあります。

カップルや家族が複数いる場合は、睡眠の手配は問題になりません。家には4つの専用寝室があります。階下の家には2つのマスターベッドルームがあり、どちらも専用バスルームとデッキへの専用アクセスがあります。さらに2つのベッドルームがあります。1つはクイーンベッド、もう1つはダブルを備えています。フルサイズのバスルームもあります。

また、2階には5ベッドルームとして機能するロフトエリアがあります。ロフトの下部にクイーンサイズのベッド、上部にシングルの2段ベッドがあり、子供に最適です。ロフトエリアには、フーズボールテーブルとクラシックVHSテープのコレクションを含むVCRプレーヤーもあります。自宅にはWi-Fiがあり、オフィスから離れているときに電子メールでチェックするか仕事をする必要がある人のためのオフィスエリアもあります。

Great house for a family

The location is wonderful - right on the creek and a short walk to town. The property management staff are responsive and courteous. The kitchen and 2 of the bathrooms have been remodeled and are very nice.One of the master bathrooms has an old tub/shower that needs replacing. Most of the drapes and the blinds need to be replaced. The smallest bedroom has nowhere to store anything - no dresser or closet. There's just a bed. That said, we really enjoyed our stay there.

We loved that the front yard was fenced in for our dog to go out. Flat areas allowed us to play catch with tennis balls. Right on the stream with a nice walking path. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were the only thing that I would improve. Not comfortable and very noisy with every move.

Cozy little Getaway

The location is walking distance to town center, however, with warm temps we were content to drive around the area. The favorite part of the house were the good size bedrooms separated by living area giving two couples privacy. With four cooks in the upgraded spacious kitchen we enjoyed sharing the cooking space. Also, we did use the grill and it worked nicely! Happy Hour on the patio with many different types of birds and the squirrels was entertaining.

Beautiful home and location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a 4-day weekend at the home with 3 adults and 4 active children (ages 5, 7, 7 and 8yo). The kids had a blast playing around the creek that runs just 10 yards from the back deck, and we walked along the trail to town (takes 5-30 mins depending on how distracted you get with the beautiful trees and playground!). The fireplace was toasty and kitchen was well-stocked, though one of the stove burners didn't work and it's a really old stove/oven and dishwasher. Everything else was wonderful and we will definitely return for a future visit!

Wedding

My son got married at the Harvey House nearby. Since our family is from New Jersey and needed to find a place for all of us to stay, this house worked out perfectly. The house held 10 people, which we had, just wish there was seating in the living room for all of us. I was disappointed that the management office couldn’t provide a rental crib for my 2 year old grandson but we were able to purchase a pack and play off the marketplace. The creek running in the backyard was an added attraction. The kids loved climbing on the rocks and wading in the cold water. The sound of the water and the sight of the stars were awesome. I just loved Idyllwild and would rent this house again if we ever return.

Great Family Getaway

We enjoyed the fireplace and game table, and loved the sound of Strawberry Creek off the balcony. It was a rough start to our vacation with the heater not working properly and the wood not lighting in the fireplace, but we got assistance from the property management company and within a couple hours it was resolved. All the rooms had portable heaters in them. The kitchen had everything we needed and was easy to cook in. We spent time at the large dining room table. We walked to town and enjoyed the holiday vibes all around town.

Great House close to town

We had 7 adults & 1 dog so finding a home with a fenced yard, a dinner table that would accommodate all of us was important. A fireplace, nice outside deck with gas fire pit and grill were also must haves. We loved that the village was only a 5 min walk and there was a trail right along the creek behind our house that we could take so we didn't have to walk the road. We can't say enough about the property mgmt personnel of New Spirit Vacation Homes; Walter, Gabby, Nancy were just amazing providing some items that were missing from the home. Will book this home again!!

Great house

The house was big and spacious. A few suggestions. The street to the house was not marked so you can find it. Maybe a sign with the street name could b bigger. The littlest bedroom could use a dresser. No where to put clothes. The bed in the middle bedroom could use a better mattress. It sinks in the middle. But the house was well equipped and was very nice.

Beautiful vacation house

This house was in a perfect setting of Strawberry Creek, an easy trail into town, ferns, sweet peas, wild roses and birds everywhere! So if porch sitting and quiet times are what is needed, this house is the one. If enjoying and supporting the local shops and restaurants, this house is the one. The house is beautiful! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to have dinners at home, on the porch, in the trees.

Mother's Day Retreat

The home is as described. It's in a wonderful, private location right on Strawberry Creek. Very close to town. The only thing I didn't like was the kitchen...now my wife wants one just like it! It is stocked with everything you'll need. The beds were fine for us, no problems there. Our granddaughter LOVED the upstairs game room! Overall, a great experience!

Love the home NOT New Spirit Property Management!!!

The property and the town of Idyllwild was really nice . The property was able to accommodate 10 people and two dogs pretty comfortably (minus one bed that felt like sleeping directly on a box spring). The front yard was great for dogs because it was safe and fenced in. The deck was also beautiful and serene next to a babbling creek. My only complaint was with New Spirit Vacation Rentals, property manager. Even though I booked through VRBO I still had to complete 4 extra contracts and a lot more steps to check in (more than just going to a hotel). It was more like leasing an apartment. They wanted it done several days prior to arrival. Everything from checking in early (before 4 pm) and checking out late after (10am) is an additional fee ($25-$50/ hr). I would not book with a New Spirit Property Rental again.

Perfect Weekend getaway

The treehouse cabin is amazing. We needed to get out of the city and just enjoy a little down time. This was perfect. Plenty of space for the 9 of us. With 3 little kids. They got to watch Disney movies and have their own little playing area upstairs. All couples got to enjoy their own room with their own bathroom. The kitchen was a dream! With everyone wanting to help with dinner there was plenty of room. Don't worry about bring any kitchen stuff this place has any pot or pan or baking dish you will need or want. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Winter wonderland cabin

The cabin was comfortable, cozy and offered many options for relaxing and entertaining activities. We went on hikes, played games, watched movies, cooked, read... The creek on the back, the patio... great ambiance. Very convenient walking distance to the center. Loved it!

Fun family weekend

This property is secluded but close to town and other places to hike, shop n explore. Only problem we had is that heater took too long to warm up cabin because I think house keeping didn’t turn it on before we checked in. Management company was very responsive to remedy our problem and followed up constantly.

Awesome Location, beautiful house, uncomfortable beds and difficult management company

Unfortunately, we booked through VRBO and then were hassled to utilize a local management company who required we signed 20 pages of legal documents and then refused to release a physical key without a photocopy of my ID + credit card. I argued that this was a violation of my privacy, but they couldn’t care less. Their past experience with bad renters trumped my right to privacy and that doesn’t sit well with me. We arrived to find a bag of trash hanging from the dining room chair and wet towels in the washing machine + a load of linens in the dryer. The wood we paid $50 for was nowhere to be seen but the management company is responsive and they were able to rally to bring us some wood for the fireplace the first night. Three of four beds are unbearably uncomfortable, one squeaks with every move, the second is so past it’s life you cave to the center, and the third is hard as a rock. Think VT ski cabin 1995 - all the beds need to be replaced + pillows that are as flat as a pancake and desperately need replacing. Highly advise you bring your own pillows. The house is otherwise lovely, the kitchen is beautiful and the appliances are wonderful. This was a spacious place with a beautiful kids loft (which lacks light!!) - there was plenty of room for us to spread out. We had our dog and the front yard is fully fenced which is nice. The back porch is fenced but the yard has a fence that will not keep any dogs inside. The location is perfect, allowing for an easy walk to town through the woods down the side of the creek. Idyllwild is dog friendly so that makes the policy not to allow dogs alone in the house at any time feasible.
